I wore a big smile watching this episode and hearing the stories of the evolution of the car, as every car, no matter how "finished" it is, is always a work in progress. I can hardly wait for the episode where he gets to see it again...

Wow that’s so cool to actually find and speak to the original builder , I can see the day you guy’s meet being a long and interesting one maybe even a little emotional for the cars original builder , I know any car we invest our time and efforts into become an extension of our personality’s and emotional investment, most non car people wouldn’t understand a car we build is never just a car . Great stuff and I hope you’re able to make a video of the meeting and the first time he sees it that would be something special, thanks for sharing and cheers from down under 😎👍👍🇦🇺🍻

What a fantastic video. It's always great to have some contact with a car's previous owner or family. I've got a 1947 Rover 16 (not a hot rod, just old) and a few years ago I got some photos of the car from a friend of the original owner's, and spoke to his daughter on law about the car. Fascinating stuff.

I love knowing the history of a car it always makes the car more special . I like to do that in junkyards imagining the history of the wrecked cars and looking in glove compartment looking for clues . Good for you Matt !

wow what a blast to talk to the guy that had done it back in the day I'm so happy that you got a complete story on the 34 it's so hard to get a story on those old rods.
The story makes this car special more than other cars that are found because most of the time you just guess what the person had in mind for their hot rod.

Fantastic Matt. This is such a great story, and such a great car. Can’t wait to see the look on the original owners face when he is reunited with it.

This was cool. Im from NY and bought a 1970 Nova last year. Found the original bill of sale was from a York PA. Chevrolet Dealership. The guy traded in a 1964 Chevy 2 for the Nova. Got $420 for the trade in. Lol

Too cool !...I have often looked at old cars and said " if this car could tell a story we'll be here all night".....looks like you got this car to tell a story. I hope you video Barry and the car's reunion.
