So glad to see this review. The Liquor store was a zoo, and I bought this Woodford Reserve Wheat Whiskey by mistake. I wanted to get the Bourbon, but now this might be a happy accident!
WLW is the best in my bar, have both Rip 10 107 and RY10 SiB that are fav's as well. Will have to wait forever for this to reach Ontario. OWA 107 is available by the case in Ontario but the price has nearly doubled to $65 Can.
Bourbon Junkies Weller 107 at the moment. I bought a few bottles at $28. McKenzie BIB is also very good but I paid $53 which is what Weller 107 is going for now in my area. We need more Wheated options! Cheers! 🥃👍🇺🇸
I'll say this before I even watch the vid, this stuff was spot on, I have only found one so far in San Diego, paid premium $$$ for it, absolutely no buyer's remorse here, amazing juice!
$48 @ Keg n Bottle here in San Diego, they only had 1 along with the Malted, in fact, I think I got the only one in Town since it's been released, getting more once the full production amount hits town.
Bourbon Junkies The Straight Wheat got high marks as a potential daily sipper. Very easy drinking. It’s sweet, with an easy finish. I loved the fresh bread, almost yeasty nose. We A-B’d with Weller Special Reserve. While the Weller was a little more complex, at first blush I prefer the Woodford.
Not a fan. Too light and sweet. I kept it but banished it from my bar. It sits in our kitchen counter appliance floor cabinet, along with the jack daniel's single barrel rye, that one for the same reason. Those 2 bottles only come out when my girl wants a whiskey and cut it with ginger ale which would hurt me if it was any of my own bottles.. They are taking one's for the team all the time now
Issues with the color correction. I think our Cera refocused at some point during shooting and messed up our color correction so it was extremely white. Re-uploaded with Sean less vampire-ish now.
@@BourbonJunkies good to know because I've been hesitating on picking up a bottle and the two woodford products I mentioned above are solid for me aside from batch proof which I love as well. Definitely recommend double double if you hadn't had the chance to try it because the stuff doesn't stay on the shelf here in Louisville.
I know I’m late to the party on this one but felt compelled to share my experience. I have to completely disagree. Don’t know if I just got a bad batch or if wheat whiskey just isn’t my jam but this one was off putting to me. Disappointed cuz I’m a big fan of Woodford. Doubled Oaked is one of my faves
I have the WR Wheat and so far I'm not liking it. Idk, maybe it needs to open up more or something but so far I'm wishing I'd bought something else. But hey, variety.

I agree 107 is hard to get no question but it is better to me, This Woodford is a miss for me its a personal opinion I would rather pay more for Double Oaked
Tasted this with you, sorry but had a whole different opinion. There is nothing remarkable about this product. Average in every category. Will not buy again.
Bought this bottle of your recommendation. Holy hell that is a great pour for the price. Cheers guys!!!
I didnt even know about this bottle until this video. I'll be getting one for sure. The malt is definitely worth a try!
Those descriptions spoke to how much you enjoyed it, and now my mouth is watering 😂 picking one up today!
Bought this today because of you guys. Absolutely love it

I have had the malt whiskey, a ton of people hated on it but I liked it. For sure gunna buy this one if or when I see it. Great reveiw guys.
Having a glass while watching this is just damn perfect 👌🏾
This is now my favorite daily drinker
That sounds like a Woodford expression I would enjoy!
What's your favorite wheater? Comment below!

WLW followed by Weller Full Proof. Some of the Maker’s Private selects are damn good though.
Larceny was before having this
Weller 107 is the best on my shelf currently for wheaters.
I get a little sweetened tea on this one...unbelievably soft whiskey based on what i've tried.
creamy smooth n sweet is what i expect from a wheated whisky ,im looking for full wheat whisky ,heck i might make it myself
Thanks for reviewing this. I like what you are describing and I’ll definitely be picking up a bottle.
Instantly one of my favorites.
You were telling me how good this was at the La Quinta and with all the great whiskeys I didn't get to it. I'm kicking myself now.
Mistakes were made!
@@BourbonJunkies May just have to buy my own bottle, not the worst thing ever
After tasting it Saturday night, I was pissed that I didn’t buy it Saturday morning before coming back to the Whiskey Wasteland.
Fav wheater is Makers Mark Priv select aka store picks where they pick the oak that goes in, They are good.
Had a few good ones, had a few bad ones. Those are one I like to be able to try in the store.
Great video. Glad to see you guys liked this one.
Amazing for the price
I also recommend a statesville nc wheat whiskey southern star
I'm going to go buy this tomorrow! Great video guys!
Sweet, I just found a bottle of this. I'm gonna open it up tonight.

Seeing at two places around Myrtle Beach = $32 to 36. Will definitely pick up one.
Hey guys the set looks great!
Thanks!!!
Bought this a few days ago for a tasting this weekend. Now I want to open it early.

Pls make a Woodford Playlist
Favorite wheater would be OWA 107 and then probably MM CS. Can't even find a pour of the Weller 12 to try.
Yo have to give this one a try, seriously game changing.
@@BourbonJunkies Yo Yo Yo Yo, Will definitely look up a bottle!! Have you recovered from TX? 😄
Sean is the type of guy who hangs up all of his clothing isn't he?
I sure hope so, that's how you're supposed to do it...unless you like wrinkles ;).

wow this vid looks old, look how far you guys have come in such a short time!!!!
I like it. I think it's a good pour. 👍
I got alot of cherry and butterscotch on the tail end. Flavors just kept rolling out and gettting better. Homerun hitter gents. Cheers
I will purchase it once it shows up. Great review.
Bought it today. And yep A+. My wife likes it too (likes sweet stuff)
Sup guys! Great set up!
Thank you!
Woodfords best offering other than double oaked
Delicious. Delightful. Sean, you need to bring some new words.
I actually try to only repeat things
I’m convinced!!
Really enjoyed this bottle. A good choice for diverting away from bourbon , without really diverting from bourbon. If that even makes sense.

Team Sean 🥃
Back to try again?
What happened to the first video?

@@BourbonJunkies Wow they can make Sean look less vampirerish?? Amazing what the computers can do now.
So better than double double oak? Or even double oak store picks?
Never had double double oak, and I'd have to set it next to our store pick of double oak. Though I'd probably rather have the wheat, not going to lie

how does it compare to AD Laws 4 grain?
Haven't had that in a long time, I remember liking the cask strength more than the lower proof. How close they are I don't really know though.
@@BourbonJunkies I'm definitely picking this up after watching this review! Thanks for the info, normally I don't get excited to get woodford.
Sold!!!! I'm buying it

I may actually buy a woodford product after this review
A great, affordable bottle.
Just picked one up for $32

I thought I was going crazy for a minute. We like vampire Sean. NBD
This needs water then its great imo !!
I mean it's already 90.4 proof, how much water do you add?
@@BourbonJunkies Tiny bit, just brings out different flavors. Sorry i was a scotch guy for a long time. Used to trying everything w water
Cheers drinking this as I watch lol… I like it but it’s kinda underwhelming
Def worth 35
Have to disagree here, Weller Antique beats this easily, I would take Woodford Double Oaked any time over this
Unless you live in Ohio or Texas 107 isn't very available and this is half the price of double oak. I like 107 a lot, but I'll take what I can get.
I agree 107 is hard to get no question but it is better to me, This Woodford is a miss for me its a personal opinion I would rather pay more for Double Oaked
Is there anyway of DMing on here? I dont have other forms of social media. Please direct me if possible. Would like to send you guys a message.

I paid $54.00. F
So it’s not technically a bourbon?
Nope, main grain is wheat not corn
@@BourbonJunkies gotcha. Thanks.

Dan likes it a loooot more than I do
Don't get it at all. Weller antique all day everyday. Wouldn't even consider a second purchase of this.
