  • The plaintiff rehomed her dog at the defendant’s house, but the defendant said the dog didn’t get along her own pet. When the plaintiff went to pick up the dog, he was bloody and injured. She had to take him to the vet, so she’s suing for medical bills. The defendant argues the dog was vicious and she never did anything to him.

    • @courtneyiam
      @courtneyiam 3 місяці тому +12

      Exactly. He probably violently threw himself at the cage and door hence blunt force trauma, which is what I’m assuming the doctors are saying he has when they say it looks like being hit by a car. He caused his own trauma then went and attacked her dog.

    • @stargirl91291
      @stargirl91291 2 місяці тому +1

      Right?! Like obviously his jaw is swollen - he chewed through metal and wood! I agree the injuries probably weren’t from the dog fight, but they were 100% from the dogs OWN actions! The gash on his back is most likely from when he pushed through that part of the door he broke & it caught / scraped on his back on his way through. I had a dog break my door in a similar way so I know exactly what it looks like when that piece is pushed forward and that 100% makes sense with the injuries he has. “Hit by a car” 🙄 that dog WAS the car! He plowed through her home like a Mac truck

    What kind of life does a dog have when it's caged, locked away, rehomed, clearly very stressed, probably wearing a muzzle on walks (if walked at all). There comes a point where keeping an aggressive dog around is cruelty in itself, regardless of it's breed.

      I’m a cynic for I never fall for the “my dog is sick, I need to take him to the vet, any amount helps” beggars. I just donated $20 last week to a woman who rescued two kittens off the side of the road last week and needed eye surgery (one of the babies was going to have to have an eye removed) because she was asking for $800 for the surgeries to be donated directly to the vet (I.e. I called the vet and gave them a payment) and then she updated to say she’d found a grant that would pay, which was awesome! At that point she’d raised like $300 and we all encouraged her to keep it for their upkeep because she’s also a known foster mama.

    • @shendisackett
      @shendisackett Місяць тому

      @@Kodak718here in the UK it depends on how aggressive. They can often be rehomed to say a farm where they will work and aren't around lots of people or children. Other than that then yes they have to be put down. This happened in my family when I was very young, my parents had 2 young dogs and then me followed by my brother. The dogs were sisters from the same litter, Jojo and Susie. Susie gradually became aggressive and began biting Jojo and snarling at us kids so my Mum had us in one room with a baby gate then she had to keep the dogs separate one indoors and one outdoors. In the end it got too bad and the vet said he couldn't allow her to be rehomed, so she had to be put to sleep. Jojo was a lovely gentle dog and she lived to be almost 16. We were all upset about Susie but there was no other option, she couldn't be trusted around children or other animals. If a dog is okay with it's family but not outside then you can muzzle them, and always have them on a lead.

It may come back to haunt you, just like this case.

    The dog’s injury is from blunt force trauma but it most likely came from Milo running into the door or getting scratched by the door when he crawled through the door. Milo was clearly a rough and aggressive dog. The tiny dog probably scratched Milo causing those marks. This plaintiff is ridiculous asf.

      And the idiots that raised them. I've seen pitbulls with the sweetest disposition. Just like any dog, if it isn't raised properly it can become very aggressive. Not the dogs fault. Their not born vicious. Their created that way for the most part. What makes them more dangerous than other dogs is because their jaws lock. Again, not the dogs fault. It's not in their nature. That's silly. 😒

He devoured several cages and he got through a door to terrorize her helpless dog. Obviously her dog held it down and kept Milo in his place. You can have the couch, this closet is MINE. Leaving him in a cage to pick up your boyfriend, for that length of time was irresponsible.
