Hate residents like this that think they can demand anything of anyone as if they have some authority that they clearly do not have!

Feel like the judge was unfair with the defendant , the plaintiff started everything the minute he stood in front of the door and denied access to the defendant. I think she definitely deserved some kind of award in her favor not only for what she had to deal with but also as a deterrent for him to not do anything like this again.
It's probably a large "rooming house" where they have their own bedroom but share the kitchen, common areas, and bathrooms. The price depends on the region, but the rooms are probably furnished with a bed and other basic furniture and they cost significantly less than a regular apartment.

I believe in Karma- some people are truly evil and they get away with incredible situations. For my sanity and well being, I moved. Had I not been so ill, I would have fought much harder.

She didn't hit the plaintiff she just tried to shove past him, but he started it by blocking her access to her own apartment, but he then shoved her and fell with her, then once up he punched her and then grabbed her by the throat. He's not only a very nasty busybody but he is willing to punch a woman. If there wasn't a clause in her landlords deal of getting out about not filing charges, then she could still file charges against the plaintiff, he should not be allowed to get away with this behaviour, it's not as if he has any authority from the landlord, he's just another tenant, where they all share a bathroom, sounds like the house is illegally rented out and probably why the landlord didn't want the police or anyone else involved...
