Yamaha VSTAR 1100 - Carburetor Removal and Maintenance - Part 1

In this video, I am disassembling my Yamaha VSTAR 1100 Custom to remove, clean/rebuild the carburetors. Please note that I am not a professional mechanic, just a motorcycle enthusiast who’s not afraid of working on their own bikes.

I have a 2000 Yamaha vstar 1100 and I am having the same problem . Your video inspired me to do it myself im not a mechanic but I feel like I can take it apart and put it together again. Instead of paying so much money to get your carbs cleaned.

@@robertoalvarez5281 I do have a question tho on my vstar the previous owner has a fuel filter right next to the fuel valve and then it has another filter under seat. Is there a reason why it would have 2 filters
