  • In this video, I am disassembling my Yamaha VSTAR 1100 Custom to remove, clean/rebuild the carburetors. Please note that I am not a professional mechanic, just a motorcycle enthusiast who’s not afraid of working on their own bikes.

    I have a 2000 Yamaha vstar 1100 and I am having the same problem . Your video inspired me to do it myself im not a mechanic but I feel like I can take it apart and put it together again. Instead of paying so much money to get your carbs cleaned.

      Thank you very much for your feedback. I am glad you liked the video and that it helped you. I'm not a professional mechanic either; I've been learning with my motorcycles over the years. I have always tried to fix things myself. I prefer to learn in the process than pay an arm and a leg for someone else to do it for me. Regards. 🙂👋

      @@robertoalvarez5281 I do have a question tho on my vstar the previous owner has a fuel filter right next to the fuel valve and then it has another filter under seat. Is there a reason why it would have 2 filters

      ​@@user-by7gl3wj6c I'm unsure what his logic was for adding a second fuel filter. 🤔 These bikes only have the fuel filter under the seat. Regards,
