How long does that stay on? I feel like it would come off over time
It just depends on how you take care of it.If you keep it clean and dry, it should last a good while.
That $2 tip looks to be polypropylene. If so, it can be dropped into acetone, which MIGHT dissolve out the filler. (If possible, use compressed air to drive most of it out first.) If you're a pro, don't bother. I'm an amateur and don't mind going to some extra work to save a couple bucks.
Can anyone tell me how the surface of a flocked dashboard feels like? Is it soft like suede, or more rough? Is it grainy?
It is a mix between the two. Just depends on how you spray it.
