I don't think it's just about college, it sounds like going through a rough patch, which does make sense for Tyler, then reaching a breaking point where you find yourself doing something reckless like standing in the road, and getting snapped out of it. Kind of like a failed attempt, but I'm not going to make any assumptions. And then they tell us that although you can't change what you've done and it all still happened, you can always start again "next semester." Everything can be better if you keep that mentality that the future will bring positive change.

I personally loved this song as well. But I actually did have an awful experience in university. I remember not wanting to be there and desperately wanting to go home. I get nightmares sometimes where I think I’m still back in school. So this songs dreamy chorus really captures that nightmarish dread I’ve felt. Really glad Fantano like this one because I actually thought it was their best song in years.

As someone who doesn’t think SAI is a terrible record, the stuff in Clancy so far has been a gargantuan step up from the former. Whenever the duo step into the Trench setting, they seem to strike absolute gold.
