I was lucky enough to have seen Robbie with his band at a now defunct venue in St. Louis called The Galaxy. They played a few Doors songs along with some originals. When he started playing Spanish Caravan my heart stopped for a moment and I was instantly transported elsewhere. I NEVER expected him to play it with all the more well known Doors songs available at his fingers. But damn; it was fucking magical.
Yes...this was excellent. Didn't realize what an accomplished Flamenco player Robby is. Very understated musician and composer!!!! The Doors were 4 excellent musicians...synergy between all of them ...and especially between Robby and Jim if you ever see videos of them live looking at each other for musical queues and inspiration.
Loved it, thank you for the soundtrack to our lives Robbie ❤ 🙏 respect to the singer, great job, must be very daunting to sing a doors song in front of Robbie krieger 😅
this is what happens when stoner kids with instruments study other forms of world music. regular rock/folk acoustic solo cant send u on a trip like that
I was thinking the same thing. Not the studio musicians part but maybe all those drugs have wrecked his skills because, I'm no musician and, even I can tell he chumped cord after cord after cord.
@@gadfly9376 he is not native flamenco player he was a self learner of flamenco and he is older than you and he got more accomplishment in his life than you will have in future lives.
come on... I always loved the doors and love krieger for what he did for rock'n roll... but... flamenco and classical music need study and practice and he was incredibly sloppy here. When i sudied classical and spanish guitar, my teacher would have beaten my head with the guitar if I played like that. The musicians in the background must have felt cringey during that intro...
@@patrickhull9231 totally agree! how can you write suche lines ghostdog7575? This man is a fucking legend! a genious of sound and master of creativity...your teachers can only learn from him! ...robby would probably make more interesting sound of your teachers even if he would play with a pan!
This song, this man, the DOORS, their music literally shaped my brain, my soul, my substance
mine too.. Sigh...

Yes he is correct
Nash Cástor Asturias 👌🏽
WELL SAID, JAMES BOND...
What???"Accomplished"??? Now go and watch someone called Paco de Lucia or Vincente Amigo lol
El Gran talentoso y Humilde Robby. EL Mejor. Tu si que eres una Leyenda.😎👍🎸🎼🎶🎵👏👏👏👏👏👏
Podría escuchar todo el tiempo sin importar lo que toque. Es fantástico!
this man is a genious! i love him
Goosebumps- Father/son is fabulous for the eyes and ears 👍🏼
the audio quality is so great! Thanks for posting, i love this song
Wish Robbie could attain what he was designed to be.
He is a musician and much more, anyone would be comfortable just being there with him.
The Doors, America's greatest classic rock band.
A big musician awesome he reached the immortality even went he still alive tanks lord. For the doors 50 years after still the best
I play this song every day for warmups.
Superb guitarist!!!!!!!!!!!!
Roby you in mi soul God bless the rock and roll God bless America
oh god i love this, the cello and violins made it perfect
A beautiful classic
I met Robbie at the Cotati Caberet....he was a gentle soul!
I used to enjoy hanging out in Cotati, when I lived in R. Park. Cool little town, and a night-life spot.
Robby still great!!
Robbie Kriger is so underated.I consider him,one of the best guitarists in Rock and Roll history.I hope he can perform for many years to come.
Woooooow que emocion, que bonito video, gracias por compartirlo
I had many great moments in my life....I'm going through hell but it tastes like paradise..like
Spanish caravan
I really enjoyed this
Thank you 🙏
A song from my country played for one of my favoryte musicians.
Thanks his an a honor a masterpiece finally complete
My dog hid his face when the singing started. So did I.
Loved it, thank you for the soundtrack to our lives Robbie ❤ 🙏 respect to the singer, great job, must be very daunting to sing a doors song in front of Robbie krieger 😅
Happy birthday Robby!
Thanks for sharing!
Ah, Robby is so good, I could listen to him play flamenco for hours!
Goes to show how much talent was in the Doors, unreal.
I Love it
Even shade under Jim an'Lay Robbie is high spec great guitarist!
Uma lenda viva
Nobody gona sing like te great jim Morrison
William Cedillo Cedillo Freddy Mercury? Juan Gabriel?
straordinario!!!!!!
Osvaldo Catenacci spetaculo senzasionale
Thanks for posting this.
This was an awesome event!
+musicmansell your very welcome !i tried my best from my shitty camera phone haha thanks for watching; )
Just makes me feel very sad that Jim's not around to see the impact he caused around the world.
Like Rimbaud, he escaped his own turmoil.
Brilliant
Great job! I enjoyed the whole thing. Although....some percussion woulda....nevermind. Loved it. 😁
Wow!
Albeniz anyone? In any case, a terrific performance.
I would have loved to do the vocals. The right way. After 53 years of practice.
Great sound; wonderful music! Also, just wondering: Is William Krieger (singer) is related to Robbie??
Bravo!
Long live The Doors
Robbie Krieger performing his craft.
Respect
Great.
Miticooooo
You all right he needs to practice more, however, he can play a music genre that no many rock guitarists can't play
Jim Would dig this.
Roberto krieger señores !!!
theshiningdoor grande!!!
Asturias with lirics from Jim Morrison
2:56 ------ ting ting tung tung tung tung ------- Albeniz prayer ----------
Jim Morrison just shed some tears-this singer doesn't make it..
Great rendition...then that "singer" came in. Then it just went flat
More like he couldn't nail a key note!!
A voice with no charisma or energy, spoiled .
It’s Robby’s son lol
@@loreleinalvarez5074 really? How did you know
Can play
Vientos
A very unique song but would benefit from some percussion, I think
Who invited John Mulaney to sing?
this is what happens when stoner kids with instruments study other forms of world music. regular rock/folk acoustic solo cant send u on a trip like that
great until the "singer" started
I would've done it so much better surely there was someone else
the singer is his sohn
Yeah, I was like who is this guy??
Zach Ascot Robbies son
yes I know. poor kid can't sing.
That guy needs to not "sing".
Singer is weak though, sorry, just sayin
we can confirm then that the doors was Manzarek & Morrison
noo el cantante no esta a la altura del gran maestro Robby Krigger
Angelo Diblagge de acuerdo ! Es hijo de robby
Plenty of Jim Morrison wannabes out there where the hell did you find the singer so weak🤯🤯😔 Rock on Robbie🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠
I think that's Robbie's son
Way too many mistakes, old age setting in say but that's just life
Don't like the singer, the quartet is magical. Krieger is still rock though. Moody Blues fit right in with the Philharmonic.
I think Robby's diversity is an extra plus that boosts his accomplishments. Rock, flamenco, jazz, blues, classical. He has his own unique style.
Why does everything have to be political Spanish caravan really
shawn smith what exactly is political?
That's the name of the song from 1968.
Que desastre, uffff!!
How can anybody listening to this trainwreck pretend it sounds good? The musicians on the Doors records were studio muscians.
I was thinking the same thing. Not the studio musicians part but maybe all those drugs have wrecked his skills because, I'm no musician and, even I can tell he chumped cord after cord after cord.
This is very nice, Robby, except for that guy trying to sing. He sounds nothing like Jim.
It's really a shame. This man destroys flamenco, flamenco guitar, classical guitar, music and my ears
It really is horrible, but still the comment section is filled with fawning praise. The world is a fucking joke.
@@gadfly9376 he is not native flamenco player he was a self learner of flamenco and he is older than you and he got more accomplishment in his life than you will have in future lives.
Wonderful. It is a shame that they had such a bad singer.
Great until Dude starts to sing
I agree with the awesome rendition. Too bad the a better singer wasn’t chosen. He was awful!
That’s his son

gosh I thought it was sloppy too - my eyes were scanning the over videos while he fumbled around to see if there was a better version.
ghostdog7575 he’s like 70 years old. Dexterity declines with age. Try not to be a dick.
