  • I filmed this at the NYC City Winery on April 5 2015. This is an UnsteadyCam Production. Robbie of course was the guitarist for The Doors. The evening was billed as "An Evening of The Doors' Greatest Hits". It was alternatively billed as "Robby Krieger of The Doors Playing 50 Years of Hits" (a misnomer because they only had a few years of hits!) Of course this is a cover of a tune recorded by THE DOORS, and written by all 4 members of The Doors

My friend Rob was from Peru and loved classical Spanish guitar. He never heard much Doors and I played him this record. He passed away in 2023 at 53 years old. He used to come over and and make me play it so I made him a copy on tape he played for years.

A fav Doors tune of mine that always seems to be overlooked in favor of L.A. Woman or The End.

One of the best old school guitar players. You can tell he was very classically trained on the guitar. I hope he gets his name in history. He is a amazing player! Thanks Robbie for all the greats! I love even some of the blues stuff. La women was a hit! People are strange is a all time favorite of mine. When the music's over, turn out the lights. It's not over for this fine gentleman.

Grande Krieger.

He’s playing without his lost friend Jim. I’m sure he’s remembering him while playing this song
