I'm sure somehow growing up as a young child listening to "The Doors" during the 1970s; being played through my mother's stereo; her convinced that Jim was still alive and that they were meant to unite.....My hearing "Spanish Caravan" inspired me to later travel to Andalusia and Granada; to walk up the zigzagging street leading up to the Alhambra; where all of the guitar luthiers have their shops. Picking up the guitar as a teenager, the first couple riffs that I learned how to play were the Rolling Stones(Another of my mother's favorites) "The Last Time", and The Doors' "Love Me Two Times". I later learned how to play "Spanish Caravan" too. Thanks for existing Mr. Krieger. You helped introduce me to a lifelong love of Rock 'n' Roll guitar.
🇪🇦🇪🇦🇪🇦🇪🇦🇪🇦🇪🇦👍👍👍👍

Such a BEAUTIFUL song and such a GENIUS arrangement.....the most underrated guitarist/composer/lyricist in rock and roll!!!
Robby Krieger: do you guys have any idea what this man has seen / done / accomplished? A life well lived. Thank you Mr. Krieger.
Wow Robby has always been one of my fave guitarists. To think that this legend is just so chill teaching us riffs is mind blowing.

First Heard “ Spanish Caravan “ fifty years ago. Unforgettable !!
ROBBY your AWESOME!!! Thank you for your beautiful playing and singing! One of the best songs ever!!!
Buenos Dias Sr. Krieger.. La Ceremonia esta’ por comenzar.
Thank you Robby, I just think you are the greatest. I just love how you make finger picking look so easy and make it sound great. You're truly a legend. Thanks for all the great music you helped to produce.
This is priceless! When I started to learn guitar many years ago I always wanted to play this but at that time I only had the recordings to learn it by ear so it was very difficult for me.
I never could imagine that some day I could watch a lesson made by Robbie himself!
Thank you Robby Krieger. I love what you and the doors have done for music. It will shine on forever!
I would love to play like you. You're irreplaceable! Vivan siempre The Doors!!!❤
Legend, i love that he actually sang the song. This style of guitar was unheard of in mainstream rock at the time so its super unique. Also many rock guitarist's dont have the skill to play flamingo style guitar. The doors are my all time favorite band. Love you robbie.

Such a treat to watch a legend at work --- demonstrating Spanish Caravan as also showing off his flamenco guitar's gorgeous ebony tuning pegs. Thank you so much.

So great to see such a phenomenal guitarist surviving member of legendary group, thank you for all your music Robbie.
Viva The Doors Rock-and-roll
❤️ Memories a Jim Morrison
Sí, ¡para siempre!
Mr. Krieger, thanks for everything. You, John, Jim and Ray will always be an inspiration.
Always loved your contributions to the Doors, especially "Spanish Caravan" ( classical Spanish music has always appealed to me -- must be my Catalan heritage). Thank you, Robby, for sharing your wonderful talent with us and taking the time to record these lessons. Such a great legacy!
SALUDOS!
Fantastic guitarist. Great song writer and Wonderful human . The Door's will always have a special place in my music collection and my heart.
