I'd be interested in seeing a video on how you edited these photos since you didnt use any in camera film simulations. Love the colors and overall feel. I'm curious, what are you shooting the video with?
Thanks for the comment Chris appreciate it! That’s a great idea for an upcoming video I’ll be working on super soon regarding editing workflow with the Fuji. Will be working on that soon☺️ Also, I filmed the video with a Canon R5!
I'm also going to buy this camera when all the hype has calmed down and those people who bought this but not really loving it because they prefer the convenience of a phone camera begin selling this camera in used market. 😁
I don’t see people selling it for the reason of a phone camera being more convenient, but maybe when the next generation Fuji x100 series comes out people with ditch these for the newer camera perhaps!
It seems that everything I am interested in is going into extinction as I call unavailability. I was able to find the camera at a retail price but I am too old to be patient so I bought it…just as above ..for a family trp to Hawaii. I am bored with Apple phone photography and I am hopeful this will cure that.
whats the strap equipped to the camera? can you wear across your body? also, can film simulations be applied to images after taking the photos? or they only appliable when taking the shot?
The strap is from amazon, it was $12 I think. It's called a chord camera strap if I recall. I wear it cross body all the time, it's served me well. I also use a wist loop strap that's made of the same material. If you shown RAW or RAW+JPEG, you can apply the simulations in Lightroom and will still have the overall control of a RAW file which I would highly recommend!
You can use the application from Fuji for this. It requires connecting the camera to a computer so that the camera's processor can use simulations as if it were doing it at the time of taking the picture. Capture One is also very good with Fuji files.
Thank you so much, I appreciate it! I don't think I used flash on any of the backyard shots except for the one at @4:57! That was with the built in flash on camera
I’ve had the original X100 for years and it’s still a fabulous camera. Fuji has become ridiculous with releasing new versions every year. Only suckers keep shelling out for the “new and improved” versions. The camera does NOT make the photographer. Tired of these click bait empty content vids.
sir, I made a video on the camera that I have and MY experience with it. I never said that you have to buy this camera to take good photos lol. Id likely recommend basically all of the fuji line of cameras to anyone but I've only used this one and the GFX50R, so that's all I can speak on.
when I said recipes, I was referring to using the built in film simulations and shooting to JPEG. Those are "profiles". Recipes are custom "profiles" that people create and share online, most commonly on fuji x weekly and other spaces like that.
@@CommanderChum I didn't use recipes on any of these photos, they're all raw files that I edited in Lightroom without any fuji recipes or profiles. I do enjoy the look of there Kodak Portra 400 sim that's on there though
One day i will buy this camera,i just love this
Hope you got it man, idk I just shot with Fuji recently
Yeah man, I need to funds at the same time that it’s available/in stock lol
New one will come out when that one day would arrive
Great to see you showing your talents. Beautiful stuff. 😊
Well done. Good info about the X100V and some nice photos. My favorite recipe recently is HP5.
thanks a ton Joe! I haven't used that recipe yet, gotta mess around with more b+w sims!

Great colors man, would love to see a video of how you edited them.
Thanks so much, I appreciate it! I've gotten this request a few times so I'll defintely make an editing video on it very soon!
Great video, Zach! Also really loved the edit en colors of the photo's.
Thanks a ton Jonas! Much appreciated
Great vid! Did you shoot the pictures in classic chrome?
These photos were all shot in RAW and edited with my own presets in Lightroom!

was the b roll also shot with the 100v? super nice tones as expected from that sensor.
B-Roll was shot with the Canon R5! I really love the tones that come out of the Fujis photos too!
Big fan the the options to choose from with the viewfinder
It’s fun being able to cycle through and choose which one suits each situation! Thanks for watching brotha❤️
hell yeah zach!
appreciate you king!! Thank you

I think you’ll love it as an upgrade from iPhone photography forsure. Perfect little travel camera too, enjoy!
