I wake up with intense feelings of depression. It’s just so intense that it feels like it engulfs my soul and I’m about to give up on everything. I need to sit up, look around and think of multiple good thoughts and tell myself that there is nothing at all to worry about. It’s almost an intense feeling of fear. I’m healthy and have a good job and wonderful children. I don’t know what’s causing this but I think it’s fear of being alone and not feeling loved and important to anyone. There isn’t anyone in my life I can count on and nobody to turn to.
You aren’t alone 28 year old active male and this has been happening to me for past couple of years
i’m kind of going through this too. except some days it’s not as bad some days it’s terrible. i pray a lot. and the other day i had a free morning so i went outside on a walk and did a walking meditation for 40 mins and threw in my own affirmations, manifestations and prayer and i had such an amazing day that day. every time i have a free morning from now on i’m going to do this. sometimes i feel fear for an unknown reason, but this really seemed to help me think more positive.
I’m kind of similar to you I have a home a family a husband yet some mornings I wake up so sad and depressed about the day ahead than my anxiety kicks in I’m so tired of feeling like this I’ve had anxiety for many years all I want is to feel at peace

I once woke up so anxious and overwhelmed I made a decision that ruined my life for over 10 years. Never EVER make decisions in the morning if you have anxiety. I hope this helps someone.

I wake up vibrating from anxiety. I always listen to a ten min meditation video on UA-cam. Do not wake up and check news/social media/texts/anything. Meditate and/or pray first. That helps a lot. Then maybe a 10-15 min morning yoga stretch and it’s gone.

The issue I have is as soon as I open my eyes my heart feels like it beats out of my chest and consists through out the day it’s really the physical symptoms that make things rough

@@k-drama_kpop_fan well now for me it’s definitely way less intense but it’s still there, as for a solution I started really focusing on getting good sleep and eating 3 meals a day, although what works for me may not work for you but be patient no matter what, your feelings are not at all permanent

I literally get sick while I’m sleeping 💤! I wake up, get 🤢 and throw up 🤮. It’s stressful, and the way I deal with stress! Lately I discovered gaba … I hope it helps.❤
I do too. ALl the time for 45 years. I have garbage pail by bed just in case. anxiety puking is horrid ..So whats this gabba? it helps?

I can confirm this. Slow the breath and do this for a minimum of 10-20 min. The brain will relax. My remedy for years to soothe anxiety, heart racing. It takes a regular practice - like fitness.
Best to start breathing practice before disorders happen.

There are lots of new approaches to deal with cancer nowadays… I am a medicine integrative student with master degree in Chemistry and I know that cancer can be reverted (of course it depends in which stage you are at) just by changing life stiles in various areas of life..

I do this but a lot of times I get lightheaded and feel out of control and have an existential crisis. Sometimes it does work though haha also, I think there are different forms of anxiety. They should be differentiated because treatments would be different for each. Idk
There are other techniques as well to use in combination such as grounding
i think its some sort of lingering fear or suppressed fear and inability to deal with it head on.
if i have a stressful job or interviews or a relationship with some underlying issues i get them out of the blue
Yes, I’ve come to realize it’s fear. I fear loss and not being able to do life alone. I fear the monotonous life I am currently living. I fear losing my boyfriend the way my ex husband left my kids and I. I fear losing my job and struggling financially as a single parent. I fear that I am not well liked by people in my surroundings. I fear that I am going to lose control of my life and everything around me. I fear that I’m going to be judged for my dirty house after working long exhausting hours. I fear me, really. I fear that I will let everything go, sabotage my own happiness when I receive it and fear that I will never accomplish or be the person I’ve always wanted to be. I fear being stuck in a rut and going through this never ending tunnel of darkness.
@@rosezful5241 with you there sister. the ptsd that comes from abandonment and being judged and having to please people in the past leaving us questioning if we can be what we really are is enormous. The dissonance of the real us vs the us we were for so long that we cant even be courageous to be n express it is so challenging. if you can afford it, try therapy- perhaps it may help n try meditation/God.

Yes I do this. I don’t fight anxiety. If I feel shaking, I let it be and what happens is it passes. Then I do my breathing exercises

Also if you have neck problems and your cervical spine is subtle Ed it can be activating your fight or flight response 24 hours a day. There is NO one solution that will cure every single persons anxiety. Breathe deeply every minute of everyday.
Which one? I did feel less stress when I visited a chirp 3 years ago.
I feel scared of going to work. I am too scared to talk to people. I am too scared to screw ip there order. I am too scared of there judgement. Thousand things go thru my mind. It’s difficult.

@@k-drama_kpop_fan i have made some changes in life. Got rid of addictions. I can say that its getting better. I wouldn’t say its completely gone. I still feel weird going to work but has energy to go through it. Before there was no energy throughout the day

I started loving my life more than i used to. Started working out. Flushed out all the toxins by sweating like a pig in the gym. Meditation helps.

So funny. Ive been listening to a lot of his videos & when I saw this title I thot yes, someone finally sees me! Wrong. I thot it wz pertaining to anxiety BECAUSE its morning & hate waking up in mornings. Im an afternoon/evening brain.
Tried this for 3 weeks, Anxiety did not go away.
This is a method called box breathing it actually hacks your sympathetic nervous system so if done properly it will work. I recommend some other techniques as well though such as grounding techniques and other sympathetic nervous system hacks. You will get through this
Try meditation with deep breathing in the morning and evening, and be consistent, I hope it will work for you as it worked for me.❤

Unconsciously, you know your reasons. Grab a pen and paper and write down all your fears. Beside each one, write down where this fear is coming from and a reason why you should not be. PS. This answer just came to me as I’m replying to you and I will use it for myself now. 😅😊

This only happens to me when I wake up early in the morning for work. When I wake up at like 10 or sleep in a little then I'm good. I get the same amount of sleep, 8 hours a day. I'm going to assume I have morning anxiety
Sometimes anxiety can be brought about by food intolerances. Food dyes, colourants, preservatives etc agitate the mind and body.

I finally had to shut my cat out because he was fussing with me, even sleeping on my shoulder and arm if I lay on my side.
I went through a period of time where I cried like a baby just because I woke up again.

Man, breathing techniques don't help me when I'm getting calls and messages not stop. Those don't go away.

Why is this so common?
I think it has something to do with cortisol or how our bodies tell themselves to wake up
If I had to guess it's probably a number of things from poor diets to bad relationships (with people/work etc) to over exposure of radiation. We can't ever get away from the electromagnetic fields we are creating and they are only increasing. Plus constantly living in fear from past trauma's that have never been healed.
I had morning anxiety after covid. Why? I am 44, and never had it before.

@@jillbutton3274 snri helped me. I take it since jan 2022. 30 mg is enough, i tried to live without it in dec 22 but after 18 days anxiety and hypertension were back. Now i feel so so. 2 years ago i was healthy.

First thing to do is responsibly get off the drugs your MDs are pushing.
Go to a chiropractor and a acupuncture doctor.

Nope. Doesn't work. 6 hours of anxiety, now it's down to about an hour or 2. Medication seems to be the only thing that works. There's only so much lifestyle changes and mindfulness breathing one can do, and just give me my damn meds because the world is over. It's my reality.

Have one goal, so you have purpose. Mine is to walk to lose weight because I was so overweight my blood pressure would kill me if I didn't fix it.
Have some kind of weekly therapy. A coach may be more helpful than a therapist. You need someone who is on your side encouraging you in your plans and goal, not just someone telling you what you're doing wrong and how to have more mindfulness skills or coping skills or something. You need to be moving forward on something.
Make a to-do list. Sometimes brainstorming, and then prioritizing just a few things to do that day can be helpful. Sometimes do the things that aren't urgent or emergency, do something that is less pressure and may bring you joy. Get help to make sure you do the important urgent tasks down, too. Just don't get stuck on always doing whatever is most urgent or critical. Things will never calm down that way and you'll never get caught up if you're letting someone else's schedule tell you what to do.
Live your own life, what ever that is. Be prepared to tell a few people 'no'. Try being less agreeable at times. It may feel awkward or clumsy when you start, but you need to start learning what you really like or don't like and don't want to be doing.
Get a sleep study done to check for sleep apnea. Medications can help, but they can also cause more problems.
If you find a medication (daytime or nighttime), don't be afraid to ask for the dose that works for you. It's okay to take medication if it works for you. That's what medication is designed for. Find the best product that does what YOU want it to do, and take it so you can allow your mind and body to heal.
Walk off you can. Swim or bike if you prefer. Hit golf balls if that works. Lift weights. Find a way to get out your anger. Find a way to shake off the excess anxiety. Your reality will still be your reality, but focused physical movement allows your body to discharge some of that excess cortisol. Dont overdo it, don't injure yourself. Mind and body work together, so take care of both.

@k-drama_kpop_fan this is the best i can offer. Know I'm not "positive". Im suicidal, miserable, feeling awful, out of hope. I guess the other part I should have added is volunteer, get a job, fox or strengthen the relationships you have with your friends or family.
And, hopefully you get lucky. I haven't been lucky. It's all been bad luck, trauma, and roadblocks. I shared what I did because people who have jobs or careers that came fairly directly (maybe not easy, but it came after their intentional efforts) , those people truly don't know what happens for the people who can't get hired and who can't find an intimate partner. Humans need social networks, a job/purpose/meaning/adult role in society, and basic health and living needs. If you don't have those things, you will break. You might not break when you're young, because youth is an invaluable resource, but you will eventually break. Some people can't even make it out of youth. So, no. I'm not optimistic. I'm positive my life is only going to get worse. It would take a miracle to raise me up out of my anxiety and trauma.
Go on your way. Don't talk to me anymore.
If you wake up with morning anxiety you need, Jesus, counseling and deliverance in that order. It will not be easy, but it will be worth it. Be blessed in Jesus Name.
Edit: Yes, it is most likely from childhood trauma which takes a long time to work through so be patient with yourself.

Sounds like somebody who has an alcohol problem or a drug problem that experienced that kind of stuff it's also a lack of magnesium B6B vitamins and a bunch of other supplements the diet is poor
You are making some major inaccurate assumptions and generalizations there. I do not drink or use alcohol at all--in fact, I am a perfectionist. I have the weight of the world on my shoulders. The people I know who have anxiety or panic attacks don't use any substances other than caffeine.
I dont have the breath to do this in the morning that is one of my problems feeling i cant breath so what can i do, wait till i calm down a bit ? Any advice ?
