Hi guys, I created this video to accompany my TRX Fitness Freedom programs: trxtraveller.com/trx-programs/ I hope you found it useful, thanks for watching!
Fantastic video sir! No ego, clear advice that is obviously informed through experience. I would add that due to functional movement you do not over train or develop a muscle disproportionately to other groups. I have been using TRX for over 5 years, with the combination of swimming, it is a supreme fitness training system!
Hi there, glad it you found it useful and thank you. Always a pleasure connecting with a fellow TRX enthusiast who understands the possibilities. You're certainly right, although I have pushed myself to my limits and overtrained on occasions haha. Mainly on a weak point training periodisation brining up my chicken legs. But overall - absolutely, the metabolic stresses endured on ones joints and ligaments are hugely reduced, almost to the point of no 'wear and tear' so to speak. All the best!

@@tmaddrummer If it's a help, I used this cheaper Amazon one for 4 years living in South America: amzn.to/3anxe58. Initially I purchased the cheaper one as I felt the beach environments and humid conditions in various areas would ruin it fast. However it's still going strong and hanging in my TRX Studio 6 years later with people using it. I mainly use the TRX GO: amzn.to/3anxe58 (approx 2 years) now. It's still going strong. The only difference I notice between the two is the quality, the TRX GO feels better to hold, is thinner and lighter. But it's very minimal difference if I'm honest. I've used a variety of other TRX models and couldn't tell any difference from one another. When clients have asked me in the past, I've always placed the thought to them - the muscle doesn't know what you're holding, all it knows is the violent tension you can place upon it through a range of motion.
@@fitnessfreedomathletes I will check out Amazon. I’m in Georgia and Academy Sports has 3 models, and the entry level is on sale for $75 and they go up to $200. Nothing is in stock, so I can’t compare them in person.

Hey there, that’s great to hear about your journey with a suspension trainer 💪🏼💪🏼. I would just ask yourself what the goal of using the kettlebells is? They are certainly great for HIIT workouts to hold and swing

In my opinion, don't look at your training as the time for fat burning. It's the time to create stimulus and turn your body into a performance machine adding dense quality muscle. Slower, mindful muscle centric exercise will help you achieve that muscle and the TRX is a great tool to do that anywhere. Good quality dense muscle makes fat burning easier (more muscle more calories used) but fat burning is a tad more complex than just one argument. Ultimately it's achieved by good consistent nutrition in a deficit and utilising nutrition timing. Overall though muscle building with a TRX within training time, recovery and fat burning outside of training time is how I approach it. Understanding how to use insulin sensitivity as a friend not a foe and the bodies 2 different modes (sympathetic, parasympathetic) can make fat loss and muscle gain much easier. It's worth studying those topics.

Hi Michael, rather than looking at the exercise first, let's look t your goal first. If you tell me what you are wanting to improve or train specifically? E.g chest or front shoulders or core, then I can advise the best exercise for that.
Great video mate thanks for the inspiration. Out of curiosity which TRX do you use whilst you're travelling? Or which would you now buy if you were to get a newer one? But the TRX Pro although the handle is running the whole thing is quite heavy.
