When a Man Loves A Woman is my recommendation for your next reaction. It showcases a different side of the lead singer here, the amazing Austin Brown. He will blow you away, as will the harmonies and the vocal percussion provided by the other guys. Austin also has a successful solo channel with simple covers of mostly older classic songs, but don't let the simplicity fool you, as well as solo originals that are more produced (songs as well as videos), all worthy of a reaction. Thanks for the reaction, keep them coming! 🥰🙏
This was shot in south Alabama about 20 miles from my house. The bass singer is named Tim Foust. If you really want to be impressed you should check out their cover of How Great Thou Art that was filmed in the Alps.
The first two singers were Austin Brown, and Rob Lundquist. Both are amazing tenors. The bass singer is Tim Foust (I would recommend checking out his collaborations with Peter Hollens. It's just the two of them, but they sound like an entire choir.) The beatboxer is Adam Rupp (people joke about him having swallowed a drum kit as a child). The newest member of the group is the baritone, Adam Chance (he's mostly referred to as "Chance", to avoid confusion with the other Adam). By the way, the "jaw harp" sounds at the beginning and end, are Chance. Seeing your face at certain points in this video, I would recommend their cover of "When A Man Loves A Woman". It has Austin taking the lead, and seeming like he's flirting with the camera (his fiance was there, and he was singing to her).
I think the reason you have been "sleeping on these guys" is they call themselves a Country A Capella group. Which is true, they do sing a bunch of country songs but they also sing Pop and R&B. And at a live performance, you may even hear Musical Theater performances. They sing what they want period. Yes, they at times add a little country twang to the song but they never let you down as to their talent or the way the song sounds. Quite a few people have it stuck in their head what country music sounds like and these guys blow that thinking out of the water very time! So many people are not country fans but they love Home Free because they are just so good. And they always make you smile!
Home Free really used a lot of vocal techniques to make themselves sound as country as they can. The beatboxer is Adam Rupp one of the founding members of Home Free. The lead singer is the high tenor of the group, Austin Brown, an amazing singer...For your next Home Free reaction I'd like you to react to is "How great thou art" a five-part harmony "eargasm"...there is no beat-boxing but you will hear the beatboxer in that, trust me on this.
As you can tell their fans, "Home Fries", are a very enthusiastic group. We saw our first live show a few weeks ago and it was SO GOOD!! Welcome to the group.
Hi MissMegan- Pentaholics, Home Fries and Voiceplayers (another A Cappella group-Voiceplay) don't compete. Those are the top 3 A Cappella groups that we call the "Trifecta." There are other groups as well, but these are the BEST!! Pentatonix is very polished, and in a High School Metaphor, are the "popular kids," and Home Free are the ones "throwing a party in the back 80," and Voiceplay are the "Drama Geeks." (geeks being used in the nicest way, lol) Depending on the day, time, how we're feeling, and the phase of the moon, we think each group is our favorite for that specific time. They don't compete with each other either. They've even worked together, had cameo's in each others videos and have even helped another with an arrangement for a video or two. True fans can get kind of protective when reactors start asking us to rank, rate or pick a favorite. For those of us who've been around since the beginning, they are like our kids and "Mama doesn't have a favorite...they're ALL my favorite"...for different reasons.
I totally agree with you Erin Mclagan you can't choose between these Acapella groups they are all amazing they have there own distinct amazing styles of there tasteful harmonising vocals love your message
I recommend Workin for a Livin for two reasons: 1) you haven’t seen their goofy side yet and their humor/personality is an important aspect of the group. 2) you can see how Adam Rupp’s (beat boxer) “harmonica” skill has improved since Sorrow.
All do respect, to everyone else, Home Free is the BEST! For something completely different, check out, Love Train, or, Can't Stop The Feeling. Great job.
I found these guys last year. This was the first song I ever heard from them & I was instantly hooked & became a homefry. The talent of these 5 men is insane. Together they are a perfect fit & complement each other so well. Tim Foust is the best bass singer in the business & Adam Rupp their beatboxer extraordinaire can make any sounds & is in a class by himself.
You have chosen the red pill... you stay in Home Free land, and the comment section will show you how deep the rabbit hole goes. Enjoy your journey. 1 more suggestion..How Great Thou Art...beautiful.
There are so many great songs by Home Free. You can't go wrong. End of the Road, Elvira, My Church, Let's Get It On / Thinking Out Loud mashup, Folsom Prison Blues, Mayday (although, it's usually suggested not to react to Mayday until you've reacted to a bit more of their stuff and have gotten to know them better). Honestly though, you can't really go wrong with any of their songs.
Individually, they are all EXTREMELY talented, but in reality, good singers are a dime-a-dozen. Where this group excels is when they sing together. Their harmonies, base, and rhythms are beyond compare. You really can't go wrong with ANY Home Free video you choose to react to.
I am constantly amazed about how beautifully their voices mesh together. And when they're singing with Peter Hollens it's jest heavenly. I keep wondering if Cas has a brother we didn't know about. Or maybe the owner of that L.A. bar called LUX isn't telling us something. (Yeah, those were inside jokes.)
They just released for Christmas time a video of them covering "Mary Did You Know" Might just be the best cover of this song I have ever heard. They are probably the most versatile occapella group ever.
I actually like Home Free's version of this more than the Pentatonix version. In no way am I putting down the PTX version, however. Both groups (and I shouldn't forget VoicePlay here) have so much talent. I simply prefer Home Free's sound and tight harmonies because, for me, it's more pleasant to my ear.
Welcome to the rabbithole of Home Free. It is a deap, deap hole of pure music fun! Short about the guys as they are standing in this video. Front left. Rob Lundqvist. Tenor. Back left. Adam Chanse. Baritone/bas/low tenor. Newest member. 4 octave range. Front center. Austin Brown. High tenor. Back right. Adam Rupp. Beatboxer. Freak of nature when it comes to sounding like a drum-kit or any other odd sounds. Like a harmonica.. Founder of this group with his brother Chris. You will se Chris in some older videos singing. No longer in the group. Front right. Tim Faust. Bass extraordinere. A true basso profondo. Has a 5+ range in his voice. He can sing high tenor. But his bass voice.... Thats just awsome! You will se as you go down the rabbithole what they can do. My tip for next song is End of the road/Boyz to men - cover. There you will hear another side of them. Love your reaction. Thank you!
Welcome to the Home Fries!!! High tenor- Austin Brown, has his own UA-cam channel does alot of great solo work. Rob Lundquist- tenor, former bar tender, married father of 2 and has a UA-cam channel with his best friend who you will see in HF videos sometimes. Adam Rupp- world famous beat boxer, married, father of one (check out his drum solo from several years ago), Adam Chance, aka Chance- baritone from Alabama hand picked by Chris Rupp to be his replacement. And Tim Faust bass, 5 octave range, married, former teacher from Texas. He also has his own channel.
Home Free also has a great sense of humor! My favorite fun song is Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget, but the Butts Remix and All About that Bass are adorable!
Yeah Homefree is my favorite vocal band Voiceplay is right up there with them. I'm going to see Homefree again Dec 7th at the Rymen Auditorium in Nashville can't wait!! You definitely should check out more Homefree and some Voiceplay if u like acapella and u like bass. Geoff Castellucci from Voiceplay is an Amazing Bass as well just like Tim Foust of Homefree. Geoff has his own Channel where he does his own solo stuff that is awesome you should check that out if u like a bass voice. Geoff does his own harmony in his videos and everything so it really shows his range its pretty awesome. Some Good Geoff Castellucci Solo Videos are Blackbird, High and Dry, Take Me Home Country Roads. Some Good Voiceplay songs Are Hoist The Colors, Friends On The Other Side, If I Were A Rich Man/Girl. Theres a few to get you started from Geoff Castellucci and Voiceplay. You got plenty of good suggestions from others for Homefree so I won't put any lol. Hope you enjoy the Homefree rabbit hole and yes you were crazy for not jumping on board sooner lol but you should also check out Voiceplay as they are a close second to Homefree in my rankings.
Adam Rupp has won many beatboxing competitions. He’s unparalleled in the industry. Other beatboxers are really really good, but Adam is the GOAT. Fun note: Adam Rupp is the only “original” member of Home Free still in the group. Adam co-founded the group in 2000, with his brother Chris-in their dorm room in college. Chris Rupp left in 2016 to pursue his solo career, and he was replaced by Adam Chance (aka “Chance”, because there’s another Adam in the group). When you saw and reacted to “Brothers In Arms”, Tim Foust (bass in HF) started with his solo. The second soloist was Chance! And FYI: Pentatonix won NBC’s “The Sing-Off’ in 2011. Home Free won it in 2013!!
You’ve got to react to their video of The Butts Medley, Champage Taste on a Beer Budget, Thinking Out Loud/Let’s Get It On, End of the Road, When A Man Loves A Woman, and so many more. Jump,on down the rabbit hole with us…it’s a great journey!
When a man loves a woman. Austin is lead. The guy who was center in this video, their cover of boys to men's song End of the road . Lead is Rob Linguist. The gentleman with the Beard and glasses is another MUST. But really any song they do is Awesome!!
Adam Rupp, the Beat Boxer is Extremely Phenomenal ….. the guys call him a Freak of Nature….he does sounds not to be be believed 🔥🥰‼️😳. He’s self taught, no less 🙃‼️ You have to do ..”WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN”….. Austin will blow your socks off 💥🔥🥰‼️ They did this one in southern Alabama.
Something to keep in mind when listening to Home Free. Everything you hear is voice. If you hear a stomp it's from the beat boxers voice just as is the chest thump. All voice. You should really check out Adam Rupps drum solo. Loved your reaction to these guys. Home Free is nothing like any other group. Watch some of their concerts and you will really see who they are and the love and respect they have for their fans.
React to their cover of "End of the Road" by Boyz 2 Men. R&B. Adam Rupp-percussion. Adam Chance - Baritone (there a some that feature his voice. He was the didgeridoo in this), Austin Brown -High Tenor (the ladies love him), Rob Lundquist - Tenor. Tim Foust - Bass (Range is 5+ octaves though).
You should react to Home Free's cover of 'When A Man Loves A Woman'. You'll see that Home Free takes turns singing lead. Austin Brown lead in this one for the most part with a couple of solo parts for the others. In 'When A Man Loves A Woman' he sings lead the entire song.
MissFriday, while you're waiting to figure out which song to react to next, you could do Home Free's rendition of John Mayer's "In The Blood" - you'll love it, I promise. It's been a while without new videos; I hope you are ok and well! I miss your shock and awe when reacting to HF :)
When a man loves a woman. Incredible harmonies. Mind blowing beat boxing and Austin kills the vocals. Soulful and heartfelt. Absolutely top shelf performance
You should hear all the cool percussion Adam Rupp does on the Sea Shanty Medley! Also, they did a remake of American Pie at the request of, and with, the original singer, Don Mclean! You'll hear more of Chance's baritone-tenor. They do a bunch of excellent Christmas music and that is coming up, so lots of fun! I especially like their "Do You Hear What I Hear?". Chris Rupp is the baritone on older pieces like that. He looks a little like Adam Rupp, his brother.
Your reactions to Home Free are great, as are all of the ones I've watched so far! In the past year, they have done some amazing music! I'd recommend "When a Man Loves a Woman," "American Pie (with Don McLean)", and "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" with Peter Hollens. (Hollens is actually the one who released that video, but Home Free is amazing in in it, along with 350 Patreon subscribers who sang as a chorus throughout the video.)
Trying to choose the better group is a fools errand. I love both Home Free and Pentatonix. Either group could perform the other’s music but not as well. But for what they each sing they are the best. Their arrangements are other worldly and are exquisitely tailored to extract the best of each of their voices. Each one of them could have careers of their own but with much less success. The art of what they do is how they combine their voices into something spectacular where you hear sounds that both seem to come from nature and yet rise above it.
There is Pentatonx, Home Free, and Voice Play. All three are super fantastic performances. All there never disappoint. I highly recommend Voice Play's "Hoist the Colours".
Home free and PTX both won the competition show called "the sing off" that's what really helped launch their careers into the big stadium tour but home free before the sing off was already touring full time and already making full time careers from singing.
You will find that most Pentaholics are also Home Fries and vice versa. Both groups bring their own special sauce, so why choose a favorite? They are both amazing. To see just their sheer vocal talent, Helplessly Hoping (a Crosby, Stills & Nash cover) and How Great Thou Art (backdrop is the Austrian Alps) are sheer perfection. For their goofy side try their Butts Medley or Hillbilly Bone. When a Man Loves a Woman (recorded during the lockdown, so only Austin is in studio) is a must and features Austin's amazing tenor voice. Hold off on Mayday until you know these guys and are familiar with their voices. So many great songs, you can't go wrong with any of them.
The Lead singer with the Hat is Austin he's the lead tennor, beard guy who's voice is sweet is Rob the Tennor in the group, the Bass one is Tim, percussionist is Adam Rupp and the other guy with the hat is Adam Chance he's a barritone.
I love Home Free first and PTX second. That all are so talented. Their live shows are superb too. All the men can sing the lead songs, they are all that talented. Austin Brown lead this song , he is the high tenor. Next you have Rob Linguist tenor, Rob has a rich mellow tone to his voice. Just beautiful. 3rd is Adam Chance, baritone and bass. Tim Foust is our bass and has a 5 octave range. The special young man with all the sounds is Adam Rupp. He is extremely talented and was a self taught beatboxer. He even taught himself drums so when he is making the drum sounds , he moves his arms as if he is playing the drums. He is the backbone of the group I think he is. Home Free has many covers they have done. And many originals too. I would like for you to react to Austin Brown’s cover of When a Man Loves a Woman. He is the lead for this song but al the guys are on camera too. This was during COVID-19. I sure hope you learn to love them as much as many of us do. Thank you so much..🎼🎶🦋🎵
Hello Miss Megan! If you want to really hear the talent of all of these guys individually and collectively just go to UA-cam and type in Home Free - 9 to 5 + Beatboxing Breakdown, October 27, 2015. You will definitely be mind blown. Thanks for the great reactions.
Both Pentatonix and Home Free were both on the show The Sing Off, season 3 and season 4 winners. Another rabbit hole of viewing would be to check out playlists of those 4 seasons, I heard there was a fifth season, but haven't seen about it yet. So many talented groups in those first 4 seasons: Nota, Beelzebubs, Dartmouth Aires, Committed, Voiceplay among others.
Megan, Home Free and Pentatonix are both great groups. There is also Voiceplay and Voctave. The Bass is Tim Fouts. The Beatboxer is Adam Rupp who along with his brother Chris Rupp started the group in Minnesota. Chris left to do things on his own. The other members are Adam Chance who most just say Chance to distinguish from Adam Rupp. The other 2 are Rob and Austin who have similar but different voices. A great next song would be The Boyz ii Men song End Of The Road. They also have a number of Christmas & religious songs. There is also an interesting video of Adam Rupp or Home Free drum solo. Either will bring it up. He isn't finished until credits roll. 🎶👱♀️👗👠👠💓
Helplessly Hoping, a Crosby, Stills, and Nash cover from the 70's, is short but beautiful! Johnny Cash's Folsom Prison Blues cover is pretty cool too. I know you want requests, but shoot, all of their songs are consistently so excellent, you could just get the long list of all of them, close your eyes, randomly pick one, and guaranteed you'd love it! But I agree about Mayday. Listen to a few to get acquainted with all their voices, then listen to that one and My Maria.
I love watching everyone's first reaction to Adam's "No-Monica" haha! Helplessly Hoping! The harmonies in it are stunning as well! But there are so many good ones, and they're so versatile, that you almost get to experience them for the first time all over again with each new song! Also for a fun lighter side and an even broader range of their abilities check out the Butts Melody ( aka Butts Remix)
It doesn't matter who's better. If you like their music, you like their music. I like Home Free sooo much. But, I like Pentatonix, too. Home Free is my favorite, but that's why there are so many different singers; to find what you like. Bless them all, all the singers who give us so much pleasure.
Others have recommended "When a Man Loves a Woman" and I certainly agree with that. While Home Free does do a lot of country, they aren't exclusively country such as "When a Man Loves a Woman", also check out their cover of Boyz II Men "End of the Road", and Rich Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up". They plain out had fun with "Never Gonna Give You Up" and it's absolutely hilarious (at least to those of us who remember the original song and the original video--if you have the opportunity, watch the original video first and then Home Free's cover). Austin is particularly having fun with "Never Gonna Give You Up". I also recommend their Sea Shanty Medley where you can hear Adam Rupp "play" the castanets (like he plays the harmonica).
Amazed that you missed that, after Tims' solo, when he joins in with the rest he drops down a full octave to really shore up the bottom. Please react to their "Ring of Fire" where Avi joins with the guys to pair with Tim.
Back row left to right: adam chance does baritone and bass and adam rupp does beatboxing Front row left to right: rob lundquist is a low tenor, austin brown is high tenor and tim foust is bass.
I enjoy PTX, Voice Play, and several a cappella groups but I love Home Free. Really, their style is so completely different from the others that it’s comparing apples and oranges…both delicious but one is the favorite.
For warmth, humor, and manliness quotient plus the music--it is Home Free. For youthful stylistics and technical expertise plus the music--it is Pentatonix. They are equally good in their own ways as far as I am concerned.
Home Free is the real deal. Although they are country they sing all genres of music. This song is over 100 years old but was made famous in the movie O Brother Where Art Thou. Austin is the high tenor (lead here). Rob (glasses) tenor. Tim (bass) has a 5 octave range so he can go super low but also sing tenor. Chance (baritone) in the back row. And Adam is the beatboxer. Adam is a freak of nature. He can do drums, harmonica, bugs, all manner of noises. They are known for their harmonies. Brothers in Arms, One Man Band, Helplessly Hoping, In the Blood, Die a Happy Man to hear more great harmonies. Good reaction Megan!
Btw, this song is best known from the movie "O Brother Where Art Thou", a quirky comedy set in the Great Depression with even more great songs. Definitely see it sometime.
Here are some great songs to showcase the different members; Adam Rupp (beatboxer): "Adam Rupp Drum Solo". The guy can't be human. Austin Brown (Front and Center Tenor): "When a Man Loves a Woman". Amazing vocals. Rob Lundquist (Big Beard Tenor): "End of the Road". Rob goes to church on this one. Adam Chance (Baritone in the back left): "Blue Ain't Your Color". Has a wonderful Mo Town vibe. Tim Foust (Deep Bass, Baritone, and Tenor!): "Folsum Prison Blues". There's too many to really choose...
The earliest of the harmonica with no harmonica was by one Micheal Winslow in Police Academy. He was beat boxing before it was cool. (just kidding, its always been cool). Back to the beatboxer here, that's Adam Rupp, outside of Home Free, he has won the world beatboxing championship twice if I'm not mistaken.
The bass is Tim Foust (5 octave range and song writer), Austin Brown (the guy singing most of the lead here) high tenor, also a song writer, he and Tim have written several songs that the group has recorded. Listen to Warmest Winter, it's a song Austin wrote for his Grandmother. Rob Lindquist sang the second verse, he's a tenor also. Adam Rupp, the beat boxer is amazing, he's won several world beat boxing competitions, if you like his harmonica check out their Sea Shanty Medley, he does a mean castinet. Last but not least is Adam Chance, baritone with a 4 octave range, he's the one doing the twenty mouth harp in this. Hope that helps. Great reaction by the way.
Top notes to bottom: High tenor/countertenor: (pretty boy with cowboy hat in this vid) Austin Brown Anchor tenor: (teddy bear with beard and glasses) Rob Lundquist Baritone/bass: (Tidy beard, shield-shaped face) Adam Chance, commonly called "Chance" to keep him straight from Adam-the-beatboxer Bass (up to tenor): (Tall, dark, and lanky) Tim Faust (Five octave range. Really. Just...really... He hits high notes *I* can't hit, and I'm a second soprano) Beatboxer: Adam Rupp, one of two founding brothers In older vids you will also see the other founding brother, Chris Rupp rather than Adam Chance, who was brought in when Chris went solo.
Okay, that was one of their serious numbers and they are great and I totally love them (this song was my intro to Home Free) but I'm going to recommend several songs that shows the funnier and goofier side of their great talent. Their beatboxer is Adam Rupp, their last remaining founding member. Watch HF Drum Solo to see why he's considered one of the best in the world. In Guilty Pleasures he's more on the singing side than the beatboxing as each member gets their time in the spotlight...sort of. (The guy in the cowboy hat is Adam's brother Chris. Chance joined up when he left to go solo.) Champagne Taste On a Beer Budget was written by Tim Foust the bass singer and is a lot of fun. (Yes, that's Avi from PTX.) Full of Cheer was also written by Tim and kind of follows up on Champagne Taste if you think about it. There are just so many great songs by Home Free, but I'm gonna stop here.
Queen in 5 Minutes and Boy Bands in 5 Minutes are good ones to start with. Daddy Sang Bass is sweet with the guys' families showing up. Carry On Wayward Son and Bang! both have terrific guest singers. VoicePlay Chicken Song and VoicePlay Road Trip are hilarious live on stage numbers that shoudn't be missed.
Home Free also has collaborations with: -- Kenny Rogers -- Don Mclean -- Alabama -- Jewel -- Oak Ridge Boys (twice) -- Lee Greenwood -- Peter Hollens -- Avi Kaplin -- Billy Gilman -- Jeffrey East
The rabbit hole of PTX, Home Free, Voiceplay, and Voctave..someday well get geoff, tim, avid, and matt. In home free, "hillbilly bone", "zootopia", "how great thou art", can't really go wrong with anything they have done.
Now you need to add another A Cappella group to your list of things to react too. The group is called "Voiceplay", they are more on the theatrical side but absolutely amazing. I don't know which to recommend because there are so many good ones. Voiceplay is on another level & will also have other people featured in their videos. Oh and the Bass in that group is... Well you'll see.
As said below, "Helplessly Hoping" would be good. But not "Mayday".....Not yet. *smiles* .... And, since Christmas is just around the corner, "Grandma got run over by a Reindeer" is a must-see. LOL
Another country song : Hillbilly Bone
A Christmas song: Do you hear what I hear (shot in and around an ice castle)
For me it's Home Free above Pentatonix, hands down. Home Free has a much broader range in their vocals and seem to harmonize better.
I agree.
When a Man Loves A Woman is my recommendation for your next reaction. It showcases a different side of the lead singer here, the amazing Austin Brown. He will blow you away, as will the harmonies and the vocal percussion provided by the other guys. Austin also has a successful solo channel with simple covers of mostly older classic songs, but don't let the simplicity fool you, as well as solo originals that are more produced (songs as well as videos), all worthy of a reaction.

yea that song is amazing by them also gives more examples of how they sound.
The first two singers were Austin Brown, and Rob Lundquist. Both are amazing tenors. The bass singer is Tim Foust (I would recommend checking out his collaborations with Peter Hollens. finally someone got it right about chance doing the jaw harp

My sentiments exactly only better stated!

Well, I do have a favorite...the last one I listened to. Oh, wait, a new song is coming up! Yep, I've got a new favorite. For about 5 minutes.
Very true but we can all agree that Adam Rupp is on his own level. Flat out, the very best
I recommend Workin for a Livin for two reasons: 1) you haven’t seen their goofy side yet and their humor/personality is an important aspect of the group. 2) you can see how Adam Rupp’s (beat boxer) “harmonica” skill has improved since Sorrow.
Yes! This! Also a good choice for the learning names part.
The Butts remix shows that side also...lol
If you want funny watch their cover of "Never gonna give you up," I laughed so hard at that video. You can tell they had fun making it.
Home free does when a man loves a woman. Best version u will ever hear. Please please
You should try their version of Helplessly Hoping.

There are so many great songs by Home Free. You can't go wrong. Their version of When a Man Loves a Woman is incredible!!! Do yourself a favor and check it out earlier rather than later. You will not regret it!

Adam Rupp is the beat boxer and he is a 2 time world champion beat boxer !! He does a drum solo as well acapella and it is amazing !!!
Update: Adam Rupp, now, father of two. 😉
Home Free also has a great sense of humor! My favorite fun song is Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget, but the Butts Remix and All About that Bass are adorable!
All about that bass is hilarous🤪🤣👍
Loved the reaction! Voiceplay and Voctave are 2 more must see acapella groups.
This is a great starter into the realm of Home Free. Comical, serious, and just plain rocking songs.
Brothers in arms hands down should be on next list
I just did that one last week, go check it out :-)
Adam Rupp, the Beat Boxer is Extremely Phenomenal ….. the guys call him a Freak of Nature….he does sounds not to be be believed 🔥🥰‼️😳. He’s self taught, no less 🙃‼️
You have to do ..”WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN”….. Austin will blow your socks off 💥🔥🥰‼️
They did this one in southern Alabama.
That was a Jew's (or jaw or mouth) harp, not a didgeridoo. You want to hear a didgeridoo watch Adam's Drum Solo.
You should react to Home Free's cover of 'When A Man Loves A Woman'. You'll see that Home Free takes turns singing lead. Austin Brown lead in this one for the most part with a couple of solo parts for the others. In 'When A Man Loves A Woman' he sings lead the entire song.
"When a man Loves a Woman" will blow your mind!
MissFriday, while you're waiting to figure out which song to react to next, you could do Home Free's rendition of John Mayer's "In The Blood" - you'll love it, I promise.
It's been a while without new videos; I hope you are ok and well! I miss your shock and awe when reacting to HF :)
You could also do their rendition of Crosby, Stills, and Nash's "Helplessly Hoping" - you'll also love this one, I promise.
I love Home Free covering End of the Road
You're likely to enjoy any Home Free song. They are professional, respectful, and have fun. I might recommend one of their medleys or mashups
Listening to both versions of "Mary Did You Know" really highlights their different styles and approaches.
When a Man Loves a Woman, End of the Road, Helplessly Hoping, Mayday, they are all great !!!!
You haven't seen anything yet, from these guys you need to see When a Man Loves a Woman, End of the Road, May Day, Bless the Broken Road they kill it
You will find that most Pentaholics are also Home Fries and vice versa.
You should check out their cover of “Folsom Prison Blues” by Jonny Cash.
Home free you hit it on the nose. The man in constant sorrow.
Their cover of Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire", with Avi Kaplan formerly of Pentatonix, is amazing!
THESE ARE BY FAR THEE BEST A CAPELLA GROUP .... without doubt !
Love your reactions... Always REAL!!
Cant wait to see you react to Home Free Mayday. The switch up of voices will blow you away
In my opinion Helplessly Hoping is a song with the best harmonies I've ever heard. It moves me every time I hear it.
Everyone is blown away by Adam’s harmonica, but I can’t get over how well he’s doing the drums.
Home Free in my opinion is the best acapella group around. Their harmonies are par excellence as is the beat boxing. Love your reaction!
Better headphones for acappella are a must.
Back row left to right: adam chance does baritone and bass and adam rupp does beatboxing
Front row left to right: rob lundquist is a low tenor, austin brown is high tenor and tim foust is bass.
I enjoy PTX, Voice Play, and several a cappella groups but I love Home Free. Really, their style is so completely different from the others that it’s comparing apples and oranges…both delicious but one is the favorite.
Check out their new “Mary did you know” as well as “Do you hear what I hear”…both AMAZING!
You should try a Christmas tune!!! Home Free - Do you hear what I hear
Soooo good!!!
Here are some great songs to showcase the different members;
Adam Rupp (beatboxer): "Adam Rupp Drum Solo".
You are going down the Home Free rabbit hole as they say! Welcome to the club! The Home Fries!
These guys can do any style of music and the are fantastic
Home Free - When A Man Loves A Woman next please!
My personal favourite is How Great Thou Art. The harmonies and the scenery are like nothing you have ever heard or seen.
Top notes to bottom:
High tenor/countertenor: (pretty boy with cowboy hat in this vid) Austin Brown
Anchor tenor: (teddy bear with beard and glasses) Rob Lundquist
Baritone/bass: (Tidy beard, shield-shaped face) Adam Chance, commonly called "Chance" to keep him straight from Adam-the-beatboxer
Bass (up to tenor): (Tall, dark, and lanky) Tim Faust (Five octave range. Really. Just...really... He hits high notes *I* can't hit, and I'm a second soprano)
Beatboxer: Adam Rupp, one of two founding brothers
In older vids you will also see the other founding brother, Chris Rupp rather than Adam Chance, who was brought in when Chris went solo.
Home Free When a Man Loves a Woman has got to be on your list. You will be blown away.
Folsom Prison Blues would be great next.
Best of the best. HF never fails
Check out Voiceplay when you get some time. Another excellent acapella group ❤❤. Awesome reaction
Home Free - Everybody Walkin This Land!
Home Free also has collaborations with:
-- Kenny Rogers
-- Don Mclean
-- Alabama
-- Jewel
-- Oak Ridge Boys (twice)
-- Lee Greenwood
-- Peter Hollens
-- Avi Kaplin
-- Billy Gilman
-- Jeffrey East
Be Blown away again and LISTION to their rendition of "CAMS" Mayday!
If the question is whether Home Free or Pentatonix is better, the answer is YES! There are many who are both Pentaholics and Home Fries, like me.
As said below, "Helplessly Hoping" would be good. But not "Mayday".....Not yet. *smiles* .... And, since Christmas is just around the corner, "Grandma got run over by a Reindeer" is a must-see. LOL
Mayday by home free, check out the base singer in tenor range
You can't go wrong with any of their stuff but the cover of "My Church" is incredible
We home fry's love our home free 🍟❣️💯❣️🔥🎄
Homefree is the best acapella group of all!
