Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole. Buckle up sweetheart, because you're in for a mindblowing experience. These guys are all a-capella. No instruments whatsoever. E N J O Y. 😀
No, they're not using a jaw harp. That's Chance throat singing. You can catch him at it at the very end of the video. Also, it is called a Jew's harp or a jaw harp. Not a "juice" harp.
The running joke among Home Fries is that while other beatboxers have swallowed a percussion set, Adam (Home Free's beatboxer) swallowed an entire soundboard.
100% a capella, no instruments! They have literally 100's of covers on YT, as well as some fantastic gospel and originals. They are the BEST "vocal band" in my opinion. Check out their cover of Boyz 2 Men's "End Of The Road". They're billed as a Country a capella group, but do ALL genres.
Great reaction! Welcome to the wonderful world of Home Free! These 5 gentlemen are the most extremely talented, patriotic, humble, artist in music today, with the biggest hearts and even bigger funny bones. Their voices will make you laugh, cry, laugh because you’re crying then cry because you’re laughing. They will make you have all kinds of feelings all while giving your heart a big hug! Enjoy your journey into Home Free.
You have just been introduced to the best a cappella group out there. These guys are all so talented. They lean towards country but they can do any genre. They all can take the lead depending on whos voice is best for the song. They are known for their tight harmonies. Tim Foust is one of the best bass singers out there & their beatboxer vocal percussionist Adam Rupp can simulate any sound. This song is very old & is done in the bluegrass country style. It was used in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" starring George Clooney. Some of my favorites are "Take Me Home Country Roads", "In The Blood", "Ring Of Fire", "Blue Ain't Your Color", "How Great Thou Art", "Elvira", "Hillbilly Bone", "American Pie", "Brother In Arms", "One Man Band", "Listen To The Music", "Sea Shanty Medley" etc.
@@fostercatheado Tim's base on its own is enough to set them way above pentatonix. I love them too but home Free is genuinely another level of acapella which I don't actually like all that much. I generally just listen to normal country but pretty much everything that home Free does I'm good with Pentatonix not so much. It all just opinion thought
I love watching people discover the awesomeness that is Home Free. Pure a capella. They have a very deep and varied catalog. For a spotlight on the beatboxer, Adam Rupp, try their cover of Listen to the Music or their collaboration with the Oak Ridge Boys on Elvira. For more gorgeous harmonies, try Helplessly Hoping, which is pure 5-part harmony with no vocal percussion. Unmatched. Enjoy the ride.
Nice reaction. Welcome to Home Free. All vocals, no instruments. Just talent. I hope you're going to head down the rabbit hole. After you've done a few more check out "Adam Rupp drum solo. Beat boxer goes crazy.

They can make you laugh sometimes, they can make you cry sometimes but they always impress. Here's a cheat sheet on the group: Adam Rupp, co-founder of HF and the awesome beatboxer. Tim Foust, bass. He has a five-octave range. Rob Lundquist (glasses and beard) Tenor Harmony. Austin Brown, Lead Tenor. Adam Chance, Baritone ( goes by Chance). Take Me Home Country Roads is phenomenal but you might also want to check out Dreamer, When A Man Loves A Woman, End Of The Road, One Man Band, American Pie featuring Don McLean, I Swear, Blue Ain't Your Color, Dive Bar Saints, The Driver, Crazy and Folsom Prison Blues. For some funny ones: Butts Medley, All About That Bass, Champagne Taste, Hillbilly Bone and their newest one, Ray Stevens' Mississippi Squirrel Revival. For some serious ones: How Great Thou Art, Go Rest High On That Mountain. When you are familiar with all the boys and their vocal roles, do Mayday. And last but not least, Brothers In Arms. The talent in Home Free is incredible. Adam Rupp can make just about any sound. He's is an Award winning beatboxer. All sounds come from their mouths. The bass, Tim, sings in 5 plus octaves. Rob, the guy with the beard is a classically trained Opera Singer
Superb reaction to this great group. Some HF musts besides those mentioned in the comments already: Ring of Fire, Folsom Prison Blues, Blue Ain't Your Color, When a Man Loves a Woman, In the Blood, Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On mashup.

Home Free is an incredible a cappella band. Their beatboxer is amazing. Yes, he was doing a harmonica without a harmonica. He was also doing drums and other sounds too. Chance, the last one pictured, was doing the mouth harp sound. They can all beatbox to a degree. Tim, the bass, has a 5 octave range so he can sing super low and then sing up with the tenors. Super talented boys. Try End of the Road, Give Me a Sign, Castle on the Hill. Good reaction!😍
Ashley, your face over the length of this song is priceless. Confusion, awe, and inspiration all struggling against each other for the right facial expression. These duds are definitely on another level. Love it!
Hello new home fry good to see you jumping down the rabbit hole with the rest of us. Yes Adam has a lot of instruments in his voice. You need to watch Adam Rupps drum solo. Last year I saw him do it in concert oh wow. Austin is a high tenor and Rob with the beard is also a tenor but lower notes . Chance (Adam Chance) is a baritone who can also do a bass and Tim the Guy who sang so low has a 5 octave range He has gone so low that he blew speakers. You are going to love home free as they can be very serious but then they do some really funny videos too. Hillilly Bone is funny and so is the Butts remix. They have over 200 videos and have been around for over 20 years. The beatboxer Adam Rupp and his brother Cris Rupp started the group. You can see Chris in their older videos. He left the group about 4 years ago and Chance was hired to replace him and does a wonderful job. Chris Rupp has his own youtube channel and he does some wonderful gospel videos.

Adam's "Nomonica" catches everyone off guard the first time they see it. When I initially saw this video, I had to rewind several times to make sure I wasn't hallucinating.😂😂
I have seen many reactions to this song but this reaction right here for me was the best one. That was straight up and honest reaction! That was awesome to watch! Thank you!
Listen to When a Man Loves a Woman - original by Percy Sledge. Made during the pandemic, and the setup of them being in the "blocks" was because they were all in different locations. But OMG to that one. Welcome to Home Fries! lol
I've seen this a bunch of times and its one of the best music things I have ever encountered. It was fun watching you discovering it bit by bit with the same thing everyone has, the question, "Hey wait a second, how do they...? No way!"
YOu are going to love this ride. Everything they do is great. Best solo: When a Man Loves A Woman, best arrangement - Do you hear what I hear. best harmony-The broken road, One man band. funniest - Butts remix. best cover: End or the Road (Boyz 2 Men) Do enjoy it ashley.

This was the very first song of theirs I ever heard, too. Blew me away just like everybody else. That got me started on their catalogue and even YT reactions at all. They got no shortage of great songs to check out.
You've found one of the holy trinity of acapella groups, the other two being Pentatonix and Voice Play. All 3 groups are very different, all are unbelievably talented. People can argue forever about which group is the best, but each of them has things they do better than the other two.
@@AllanTidgwell and some are a bit "Too country" for others, so it evens out. Isn't it fantastic that they can do so many different types of songs so well?

You're not going crazy You see and hear what your eyes and ears are telling you All sounds that you hear are all vocally made from start to finish, no actual instruments at all. All while singing Epic!!! 😆 🤣 👍
Good reaction! Subbing for more Home Free. And welcome to the very deep rabbit hole 🕳 called Home Free! Although they bill themselves as a country a capella group, they can, and do, sing a wide variety of genres. Two of them even sang an opera aria for a YT video. There are several cell phone videos of Adam Rupp the alien beat boxer performing live "drum" solos. Sea Shanty Medley... you need to hear Adam beat box during that gem.
Welcome to the magical world of the best Acapellagroup out there (in my opinion, and some other Fries 😂) looking forward to see more of your reactions to them! Enjoy! ❤
End of the Road, ring of fire, folsom prison blues, when a man loves a woman, blue ain't your color, and mayday. You get through those songs and you will not only be a fry, but, you will find a greater appreciation for music. Then you will really enjoy the holiday music and gospel.

All sounds that you hear are all vocally made from start to finish, no actual instruments at all.
All while singing
Epic!!!
😆 🤣 👍
Best bass ever. He's inspired me to do similar stuff, but he's awesome
Welcome to Home Free. Listen to their cover of End of the Road and When a Man Loves a Woman.
Welcome to the magical world of the best Acapellagroup out there (in my opinion, and some other Fries 😂) looking forward to see more of your reactions to them! Enjoy! ❤
I have seen them in concert, and they are worth the money to go see.
End of the Road, ring of fire, folsom prison blues, when a man loves a woman, blue ain't your color, and mayday. You get through those songs and you will not only be a fry, but, you will find a greater appreciation for music. Then you will really enjoy the holiday music and gospel.
