Rob and Austin (the first two soloists) have a song out called, Two Country Singers Try to Sing Opera. Austin also has a solo performance of Bring Him Home. I believe you would enjoy both.
This was the first song I ever heard from Home Free & I was instantly hooked. The talent of these 5 men is insane. They are known for their tight harmonies. Tim Foust is one of the best bass singer in the business & Adam Rupp their beatboxer extraordinaire can make any sounds & is in a class by himself. They lean towards country but can sing any genre. They are my favorite a cappella group. This song is very old & is done in the bluegrass country style. It was used in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" starring George Clooney.
Their Bass Singer, Tim Foust, actually has an incredible 5 octave range. If you want to see a song he shows off his incredible range, check out his solo single, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay.
And I will comfort Cherish one thought, So far, like all of us, sinners, I won't sleep in the grave, What will you never remember The one about whom always You had no time to remember In those old years 💕💕💕
Aaliyah! That's my jam! I was one of many to suggest this song. I saw this pop up and couldn't wait to get off work and see you react to it. I love it. I'm glad you like it. You will love Austin in "when a man loves a woman" . Makes all the ladies fall in love ha ha. Home Free will be here in my home town in a few days, but I didn't get tickets and don't have a girl to go with ha ha. Thanks for sharing, my favorite dimples smile. Have a great night.
Thanks so much for sharing Mr. Dave, im so glad to hear you enjoyed it too💕oh hope you can still find a ticket🤗thanks so much for watching🥰have a great day always🤗
I completely feel like this group is one of the brightest and best music acts of the 2000s. Given the sheer amount of talent and ability these five guys all possess, I think they totally deserve all the success they achieve.
Glad you are checking out the acapella group Home Free. For me. They are the best out there. They are so versatile in their music. Crazy!!!!! I just subscribed to your channel. Loving your content..
Thanks for the luv an like! I am pretty sure you are already a fan of Elizabeth Zharoff's channel The Charismatic Voice but if not then need to check her stuff out. I think she is the best because she knows the human voice/singing and if she doesn't then she learns and then shares. Also she points out a ton of technical singing stuff that alot would not understand or appreciate but I wholly appreciate her knowledge. Most reactors don't have a clue about singing/singing techniques etc and are just out there to get subscribers/likes. A fun one is when she reacts to her performance of "Martern aller Arten" @ international opera competition.
The rabbit hole is deep and wide as they have many covers and quite a few originals. Combined approximately 150, Very diverse vocal/music genre that makes the appeal to their fan base to be exceptional, they sing all of those styles extremely well. They sing serious, funny and sensational recordings, you just never know what you are going to get except you will know any cover they do will be better than the original. They have quite a few where they also sing with the original artist which is amazing the respect both the artist and Home Free have for each other. Thank you for doing the reaction, enjoyed your take on this particular one which so happened to be my first song for Home Free and was hooked from there going forward. Have seen them live and will again this coming December. There is no drop off from recorded to live both very well produced.
Thanks for the reaction, Aaliyah. A really great song of their harmonies is "How Great Thou Art" Can't wait to see you react to that one. New subscriber for more Home Free.
They are amazingly talented. Adam is an incredible Beatboxer. All the boys can sing and they all take the lead depending on the song. Austin can yodel, do harmonica (although Adam’s doing the harmonica in this song) and sing opera. Tim has a 5 octave range so he can sing super low but also sing up with the tenors. Chance (in the back left) was doing the “mouth harp” sound. Great reaction!🥰
Lovely reaction, thank you🤗 the man making percussion sounds is a Beat Boxer I haven’t a clue how he produces all these different sounds !…..fascinating !
I just saw these guys live. If you want a treat, I suggest doing a double reaction to their covers of "Brothers in Arms" and "Mayday" to really see Tim Foust and Adam Chance shine (Tim starts both songs but he has a different haircut so you may not recognize him at first). Another great two-for-one is their cover of "End of The Road" and a duet with Home Free members Rob Lundquist and Austin Brown doing Nessun Dorma on Austin's channel.
I love seeing you react to and trying to learn from genres that are so different from the one you are studying. I think we can all learn from people who enjoy different things from those we tend to gravitate towards. I wish you the best in your training and hope you do well in your chosen career.
Glad you got round to listening to this. As I said Tim bass is amazing, but if you want to hear him go really low, listen to.there version of Ring of Fire (also features Avi from Pentatonic). His final note has literally broken the speakers at live concerts. Another great performance I also previously mentioned is KD Lang singing Hallelujah, which is literally out of this World. Two great versions on YT are at the Vancouver winter Olympics opening ceremony and the Canadian Juno awards when Leonard Cohen the songs writer was being inducted into the hall of fame. At the end Leonard told KD the song was now hers. Not bad when Hallelujah is the most covered song ever.

If you are digging into Home Free, I would suggest Elvira ft. The Oakridge Boys, End of the Road, a Boys to men cover, and they did an amazing song with Kenny Rodgers called "Children Go Where I Send Thee"
I have been waiting for you to get to this one. Thanks for the reaction and for your enthusiasm about music and performance. Have you considered checking out Blackpink? You might be surprised at how good they are. They are having a moment right now so it probably wouldn't hurt your views either
Hi Aaliyah! May I offer you a couple tips for doing your videos? You are missing a huge opportunity to connect with your viewers b/c you are so often staring at yourself in your camera's viewer/monitor. One gets a sense that you are looking at, and speaking to someone other than themselves; as though you were talking to someone next to them. Make sure that when you turn to the camera you are "making eye contact" by looking at the camera's lens. I also get the feeling that you have a lot more musical understanding, knowledge, and 'sense' than you are expressing; would love to hear your thoughts in a more technical way. Perhaps what you think about a performer's intonations, pitch, range, placement, support, phrasing, vibrato, style, vocal choices, etc. For instance, after Tim's solo, when they went back into harmony, did you notice that Tim dropped a full octave? Don't sell yourself short - you got this! You are otherwise doing a wonderful job! All the best.
@@AaliyahCapili If you're interested in the bluegrass genre, check out O Death by Ralph Stanley and you'll see what I mean about the nasal resonance...it's almost a whine. I'd post a link but YT gets all pissy when I do.

You might enjoy watching a performance by the beatboxer, Adam Rupp, from a live show. He does a drum solo, without a drum.

Thanks so much Mr. Mark for all of your feedback, much appreciated💕have a wonderful day🌺
The nasal resonance is characteristic of bluegrass music, in particular male vocalists.
Oh thanks so much for sharing💕
@@AaliyahCapili If you're interested in the bluegrass genre, check out O Death by Ralph Stanley and you'll see what I mean about the nasal resonance...it's almost a whine. I'd post a link but YT gets all pissy when I do.
You should react to Iron maiden- Hallowed be thy name. The singer is a metal singer but can sing as amazing as an opera singer, you should check the band out.
Oh thanks so much i will check it out too💕
