I applied to Roto-Rooter but the guy at the interview was talking about quotas and sales and honestly I'm not about all that so we'll see how it goes but I think it's b******* to try to sell people garbage they don't need.
If you work for them they will make u buy a truck pay for insurance they will wrap it with their logo but you can’t use it for side jobs 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ doesn’t make sense to me. They want you to scam people and sell them shut they don’t really need or pretend that stuff cannot be fixed when they really can this is the type of company that will tell u your main sewer pipe is broken when it not
What does the avg outside sales rep earn at Roto Rooter? Base plus commission? Is it a $75-85k per year job with base +commissions? I am thinking about joining our local team.
Don't sell people things they don't need and be a good judge of where your at if it looks like they don't have the money they probably don't so don't take them to the cleaners
Pitch them how to overprice. a dig job they don't need.... sewer line they don't need...a broken pipe that's not broken.. don't tell me it's not true.. I go after Roto Rooter 10 times in the last month who have done that.... "Motivational Speech" ...maybe you should try a "Don't scam Innocent people Speech"... I can make plenty of videos to prove the truth.
I am experiencing a Roto Rooter NIGHTMARE right now - they over charged me on parts that I couldve bought myself but was told by their technician that they couldnt use the parts if I bought them and that they had to purchase and use THEIR parts The guy went to Menards and purchased the parts and charged me DOUBLE for them

usually customers who purchase own supplies such as water heaters, boilers, faucets there is no warranty. that's the industries standard
you got ripped off. Rotorooter is by commission. Never hire a roto company, they aren't even licensed plumbers
