UA-cam suggested part 6...I said heck no! I'm going back to the beginning, part 1...I'm now here in under an hour and lovin the father son build....SUBSCRIBED and now i can't wait to make it to the final product. Keep it up Boys!
Been working on this kart, fun project, I’m waiting on orders through so I found it useful to spray wd-40 in the steering sleeves so it doesn’t rust together in the rain
I just took a kids electric Razor drift kart and stretched it, With full sized axles and tires, and a tecumseh engine, because the original frame members are really weak thinwall I added sub framing and reinforcements, I have believe this kart would soon flex to death if I was to do Wheel-Jacking through King-Pin-inclination, I'm glad I watched your decision, I'm going to put in some king pin angle but not very much.
The horizontal bandsaw is a Klutch 4-1/2" x 6" from Northern Tool. It's basically a twin to Harbor Freight's 4 x 6 horizontal (maybe slightly higher quality). The portable bandsaw is from Harbor Freight, with a home built stand and table. It's probably the most versatile metal working tool I own, and the best 99 bucks I ever spent! Thanks for the compliments!
Hey fellers just making a suggestion weld on piece of metal So that you cant push the go fast pedal past W.O.T. without a stop on the pedal you break the throttle cable and in some instances damage the carburator...
@@anticsgarage5230 i was just watching part 4 and saw that and had came back to delete this comment... Im atually watching this for the second time i fell asleep on yall earlier ( im old the heat just takes it out of me these days)

Nice, I just chipped a 110 quad in half more or less
@AnticsGarage was wondering on how many feet of metal yall used for this build
I can't remember exactly, but it says it in our plans: anticsgarage.com/gokart. It's a free download.
Any chance you know what size tie rods you used?
Do you think this steering design can handle a 450cc Motorcycle engine or would it be overkill for this design?
That's a lot of engine! It would work, but you might look into a rack and pinion style setup. That might be a better fit.
Don't worry about the size of th buts boys, you're doing fantastic
Hey guys, any chance you still got those pedal plans? Im building a go kart too
I suggest the logo colors, green with white stripes. A little late huh...lol
Do u build cart if I have the body for it
Make sure your pedal travel at its maximum deflection will not interfere with the steering arms travel through its full rotation.
Yep. We checked that out. Everything clears, but just barely.
I admire you naming chickens after velociraptors
They are pretty terrifying, after all...
Made mine myslef with some good ol fashion rebar
Heavy, but effective!
How can I purchase one
What model n name is that bandsaw? Awesome weld's young man!! Love that shirt you are wearing also, need more of them in alot of youtube video's!!

I wish I could have seen more of the wheel assembly since I'm making the entire thing from scratch

Hot Rod Red with yellow accents straight up Iron Man Style
I like how you think! An Iron Man themed cart would be very cool!

Good call! We actually added pedal stops in part 4.

How much steel did you use
You can download our plans here: www.anticsgarage.com/gokart.html. All of the steel dimensions are included.
Which material it's chassis made of
It's made of 1"x1.5" steel rectangular tube. You can download plans from anticsgarage.com/gokart if you're interested.
