That Germany somehow managed to piss of everyone. First, they ruined Austria-Hungary's restoration. Then they released them as puppet. Then they invaded Poland, only to eventually gain no land and release them as a puppet. Then they didn't invade the USSR, betraying themselves, only to invade them and piss me off due to my ethnicity. Then, they failed themselves once again, when the Italians got all of France. Which, not to mention, they nearly lost to along with Poland. I was finally happy, for more reasons than I can count, when the video ended with the Allies holding Brittany, which means it was on a good not. On the other hand, the other world was stuck in a forever warz with Geans proggreaing on one front and allies on the other, before eventually being pushed back and the front remaining a stalemate. If Operation Valkyrie happened here, I wouldn't be surprised if their demands were met.

Man, ive never got to see my italian grandfather who fought bravely in Ireland, sadly he died at the siege of Dublin. There are very few photos of him. He fought 1264 battles and was considered the best italian soldier. F in the chat to pay respects
Paradox seriously needs to rework the soviet focus tree and the soviet AI. I've yet to have a game where the soviet AI succeeds to defend itself from Germany, let alone win against them.
I agree, and sometimes it feels like Germany is almost unfairly strong. Yes, irl they took over most of Europe but mostly it was because of brilliant strategies, not raw military power (ahem Blitzkrieg, Ardennes). At the time, Russia was severely underdeveloped compared to the rest of Europe and its high command had been murdered meaning they had no real direction, but as shown irl, Germany really had no chance of winning when against a fully industrialized, competent Russia. In HOI4 they get rid of their debuffs and become the strongest industrial powerhouse in the world and they STILL lose against the German AI, how the fuck?
God, that “historical” war was so brutal. It just kept going, and it looked lit it had trench warfare that’d make WWI proud. Creator, may I request that you continue that game to it’s end, and also show the death toll?
