I use to think being able to micro the Soviet war in Half an hour was impressive. However that is nothing compared to the sheer amazement of watching a dude do a world conquest using 2 units and will alone.

I just found out how to break through the Dutch in my latest game so far. To put it simply, tanks attack from the north, while infantry attacks everywhere els, at least that’s the strat I used.
Being an absolute goblin I just put all my divisions into an army, put that army on the Benelux, and manually micro. The key is to force lots of units to break a single or less units on the enemy border. AI sucks at defending against breakthroughs, so just push through without worry of being encircled. Oh also BIG TIPS: Use air (idek how most of it works, but a couple hundred CAS and Fighters) Absolutely avoid attacking all three Benelux nations at once, because France will force tons of units into their borders which will make it really difficult to cap em quickly
@@mycario624basically, select all your army, assign them to 2 armies, then have 1 army have 24 divisions and the other with 21 (i think). The stronger ones goes to the northern border, the other goes to the south. At least that’s how I do it. There might be more efficient ways of doing it, bit this is just a beginner friendly way.

Have you heard the tragedy of Tannu Tuva the Resilient? I thought not. It's not a story the generals would tell you. It's a Tannu Tuva legend. Tannu Tuva the Resilient was a Minor Nation in Hearts of Iron IV, so resourceful and so strategic, it could use its limited industry to influence the supply lines and turn the tide of war... It had such a grip on its divisions that it could even hold the frontlines against much larger armies. The modding community of HOI4 is a pathway to many customizations some consider to be game-changing. Tannu Tuva became so formidable... the only thing it was afraid of was getting annexed, which eventually, of course, happened. Unfortunately, it modded its national focus tree too extensively, leading to instability, and it collapsed in-game. Ironic, it could save others from invasion, but not itself@@ronin1915
If each division is about 30.000 manpower, and the casualties number is 45 million, then each person in those divisions on average caused 750 casualties.
@@taisato2091 Good point. I wonder what the replacement rate of the divisions were. I imagine in the beginning there would be quite a turnover. But once those experience and medals rack up, the turnover got drastically reduced.
god bec he beat AI? basically he knows how the AI works and the AI in hoi4 is stupid and very easy to defeat so he just uses the knowledge to abuse the game mechanics and conquer the world but he only does it with 2 divisions and spends a lot more time than normal xD also it looks like he play on easy mode bec even when AI have more division they dont want go to the empty provinces so yea... As many of you have probably pointed out, and as LB has himself, the real challenge here is not the micro (though the micro was insane, I could never get to such a level of slaughtering divisions), but the willpower. Having done a Japanese world conquest myself, after like 43 ish it is really easy to just want to stop, and yet you continued. You have my respect and concern for your mental health, as a former HoI4 player

This is insane. I've done it with 10 divisions and it was incredibly difficult. I cant imagine doing it with less. A masterclass on micro and patience. You're a god.

Im just imagining if this was real what it would be like to be one of the people in those two divisions. Like most of the entire army is just the airforce and then its the greatest conceivable honor to be placed on the frontlines as the most elite soldiers.

Incredible! ugh, now I feel like trying something like this too... I see you made strat bombers, but were you able to effectively perma-raze the enemy industry at some point? There was a lot of time to build stockpiles, but I imagine it could help with the late game div spam
That's why I don't like watching speedrunners, they always have hidden things they did that they never explain fully, which means you can't really replicate this run yourself
Incredible achievement, however I might have an interesting challenge for you, you must use a minor country without researching anything ( doctrines improvements are allowed) and attempt to conquer the entire world, this might be extremely hard or maybe perhaps impossible as you will have equipment from 1936 while your enemies will eventually have equipment that is 10 years more advanced

I didn't realize you nuked your own division in the first time I watched the video but wow, that was a LOT of veteran soldiers gone like in a second.
