I bought the SP-004 because of the same reason as you xD Well now i fell in LOVE with it and can`t even imagin getting back to softpads, it would feel sooo off xD
For me, switching to glass mousepad is a great move, it improved my aim and making me more consistent. The beauty of the glasspad is you can tune the speed just by switching the skates. At first I was using normal pure ptfe, but it was too fast. Then I switch to obsidian donuts/dots, and I switch again to ultraglide blight (same as obsidian pro). It significantly changes the speed and feeling. The downside of glasspad for me is they eat your skate so fast, and you need to clean it regularly.
Yeah, there are definitely downsides, but I think it's worth if you like it. I even have a little light I use to make sure the pad is clean if I feel something weird lmao.
@behoon yes is true glasspad are the best.I too have recently passed to glasspad . Currently i have skypad 4.0 and padsmith empress blu version.....they are easy to clean and especially fast...like skates if u want speed ...i recommend TJ plasitx my favourite together obsidian ....how fast they are in the padsmith I had to reduce the sensitivity by 0.20 lol
@@babayaga.666-v8x Sadly we dont have Plastix skate here, but my retailer got domestic market chinese brands so its all good. I dont really like super fast glasspad, thats why im using Darmoshark GP301 even tho the design is kinda meh and ultraglide blight skate so it become more slower. Im currently waiting for the new glsswrks drop or just buy kazemi/ kanami sai from my friend.
Just started using glass pads and got an Asus rog moonstone ace and it's fucking amazing! Now seeing all these cool anime ones but I can never find the coolest one in stock! Anyone ever get any from the tik Tok shop, eBay or AliExpress? Are they legit?
Some people have covered the mass manufactured cheap options and, from what I've heard, they don't sound great. There's also probably a ton that use stolen art. Most pads that have interesting designs anddd a good surface finish are limited runs, so you kind of have to keep up with people who get review units or follow certain brands like Kanami/Arbiter, Wraith Esports, Skypad/Wallhack, etc. It's a pain, but these are also very niche products :/
yoooo new naokeys just dropped i got pink steelseries glass pad cheaply and I liked it a lot, but my circulation is terrible so when using them in winter my hand would just end up freezing cold lol
Superglides, at least the v1s don't have a lot of friction to them so even double clicking an icon can be hard :p Since my desk isn't perfectly flat, I'd find my mouse in a different spot than where I left it on my mousepad because of how little friction there is. I think v2s and other newer glass skates aren't as bad, but after my experience with the v1s it's just easier not to think about glass skates.
The skates I used in the video are extremely controlled but should really only be used on glass pads. From what I understand the Xraypad Obsidians are on the controlled side. I'm gonna guess you're on the Ice skates, but you can try their Arc v1 which is more controlled. There's also Corepads CTRL or normal which I think is a reasonable change from stock skates on most popular mice these days.

I feel it. I've actually been thinking about getting an SP-004 or a Cerapad because of how much I've been enjoying hard pads

You may need to clean a glass mousepad regularly but. It is so much easier to clean.
Glass is fun to play on! Dust is a problem that is annoying but dot skates help.
Definitely annoying. I find myself wiping down my mousepad in between CS rounds sometimes :o
I’m rocking stock op1 8k skates. You now you make me wanna try more controlled skates (i mainly play cs)
same, although im not having any issues with the stock ones
Definitely worth a trying if you can! The Xraypad x Wallhack dots are really nice for control. I personally want to try the Obisidian Pro Donut skates
A little bit of more gameplay? 👉👈
I'm bad at games LOL
also I don't have a good way to do hand cam :/ my overhead camera unfortunately doesn't reach far enough.
@@NaoKeysVT oh, okay 👍

I think you mentioned it in the video but I can't find it - why did stop using glass feet?

Are X-ray pads good for control? I got Esports Tigers on my Viper V2, and they were really hard to adapt to.

Obsidian Air Pro dots if you want more control.
