I have had my G43X for two years and the 15 round mag. About 1500 rounds with no problems. Alternating between the OEM mags and the 15 round mag. Also put in the aluminum mag release. The OEM mags are starting to get burrs on them. I am going to go back to the plastic mag release and keep the 15 round mag as a backup. Put the front site in the bucket and no problems shooting 5,7,or 15 yards. It's a great gun. I love shooting it.
I love the video and your charisma. I got the 43x in February. Put on tallion grip and tritium tru glo night sights. Fired 300 rounds so far. Love it. Some complaints on sharp trigger, hurts finger after 100 rounds or so. I am sticking with the 10 round factory mags. I carry with extra mag. 20 rounds is fine for me carrying
I've got 300 rounds through my 15 round mag. I do have the steel mag catch installed. Very difficult to load the 15th round first couple of times. Other than that, zero issues in 300 rounds.
I use the S-15 mag as a reload. Haven’t changed the mag release on my 43x and don’t plan too either. I carry with the OEM mag and have the 15 rounder on my belt just in case. It’s a win win.
Great review! I have a 43X I love it I’m just not that good with it, getting better though. No complaints with it, it’s a Glock it shoots. Good luck on the magazines hope you got a good batch! I wasn’t lucky but everyone I know was lucky and got good mags, definitely gotta let us know!
I have one. It Carrys well. It was in upgrade from my Shield. Going to give them more time on the SA magazines to work the bugs out. For now 10 +1 works for me. I can actually fit 11 in the stock 10 round magazine. It’s tight but it chambers with no malfunction.
Yeah I had bad luck with gen 2s, ya either get flawless mags or terrible mags haha. Gonna wait a few months before I try them again. 10+1 is fine with me for now
Solid video, my question is how long will the polymer magazine release last when using the metal magazines? The best EDC is the one that you had to use and walked away with.
Well, I could make a video on that answer alone.. and I might. But I’ll try to give you the short version , lol.. firstly- I carry the factory 10 round mag and use the shield mag for my reload.. secondly-when you change the mag release you handicap yourself by having to strip your factory mags from the gun, something you may not be able to do with one hand in a gunfight.I mean, these guys make the shield mags so naturally they want you to only be able to reliably use THEIR mags, that’s why the sale the mag releases..thirdly- I’ve owned Glock handguns since the late 80s and have never had a mag release wear out, with literally 10s of thousands removals and re insertions.i still have a gen 1 that there’s not even wear marks on the mag release so, I don’t buy it. I think it’s a selling pitch from Shield arms..and lastly- the factory mag releases are cheap enough and real easy to install, to me, it’s worth wearing out one and just replacing it if it were to ever need it., so you can use your factory, time proven, Glock mags.. but I’m not saying the shield mags aren’t good or that the Glock mag releases WONT wear out, I’m saying I e never seen it..these answers are of my opinion..so, just something to think about.. but by all means, whatever mag you use, carry your weapon….and by the way, even though I trust Glock equipment with my life, I carry the sig p365.. lots of people hate it but, to each his own.

Lol.. thanks. Some folks go a little overboard I think.. but then again, I understand. Lawyers are always looking for a reasons to sue somebody..
I leave my 43x everything stock as a secondary gun while my other 9mm holds 16 n edc..
