    The best aid is 'Deano's pencil' especially the rubber on the end for altering scores after a round.....

    Just started to use a thin elastic string tied between two tees. From this you can set an aim line for putting. One aid I missed from the rating was a soft ball on a string around your neck to place in between your arms. I’ve seen many pros use this in practice

    Here's one for putting, get a 1m metal rule at your local hardware. If you can putt the ball on it from one end to the other, you've got the perfect test of path and face direction. Plus, you can use it for drawing straight lines!

    I can think of a few more or alternatives. Acustrike golf mat. Old Duvet up against a hedge rather than net...it will also show you the spot where the ball hit. One square of toilet tissue....lay it down in a carpeted room or hallway and putt the ball from any distance and aim for the ball to stop on the tissue.

    1 i liked (out of the 100's i received for birthdays and xmas 🙄) was the moulded grip that showed where to place your hands...not that everyone has or needs a perfect grip but if you hold it and your hands are way off you probably need work on your grip.....i think i got it for about £9.....that and a few alignment sticks and a can of cheap dry hair shampoo and you might be the next Tiger

      I've got the DST 8 Iron. I really like it and would say it's worth it. I also went for a lesson and the guy said it was an awesome tool, suggested the wedge version. It's great at showing you where your hands should be at impact and really "connects" the swing.

    • @WilsoTron
      @WilsoTron Рік тому

      Simons reasoning was due to net durability and likleyhood of breaking things with a mistruck ball. I use 'almost' balls with a cheap net to solve that problem. Love getting daily practice in at home in the garden instead of going to the range. The money i saved on range balls is slowly paying for my launch monitor. Happy days
