I'm an absolute beginner. Been to driving range once today and did a 9 course last summer. I'm focusing on my driving and 3 wood right now but will also work on my putting. I feel personally a good start and good finish will more than make up for a bad to average mid game. Can't wait to get decent and start betting against family lol i want to juet be able to have control/accuracy then power can come later. Im learning fundamentals of the swings. Putting has always been fun though. I'm probably going to work on 5ft max distance until i can hit a great percentage out of 100 tries. If im 25 ft away and can get it approx 5 ft or less i would then have pretty good odds of getting it in from 5ft.
Would love if you included the prices as well. took at look at the prime putt and its $500! Commander looks like the best value. The ones you ranked bottom two were the cheapest.
I wonder which gulf club he used to putt with? I’m completely new to gulf and bought a book on the subject, now seeing this I need to buy this to practice at home
The track training aid on the stroke master assumes that you are trying to develop a linear putting action. And whilst most pros putt like that, not everybody does. My action is radial I'm pretty good at putting ( even if I say so myself) I find it feels more natural whereas a linear stroke is more mechanical, trained and feels artificial. IMO putting is all about feel just don't think you get feel by moving in an unnatural way.
These all actually look really solid, putting mat tech def seems to have improved over the past few years. Real turf seems like a gamechanger, your #1 and #2 look great.
You posted this all really and the Dustin Johnson perfect puttung mat is the best.. it’s about 11 on the stimp and the ball comes back bro - it goes up to make sure you put thru to 2ft pass the whole… both holes are smaller than a normal hole and it doesn’t take up that much room in the house like the others
This is "tour grade turf" 😂😂🤣🤣 where in your do they use turf to putt? Dude say something like "this turf is what your pros use to practice" not tour grade hahahahha
I was gonna shut the video off as soon as I heard prime sent them a free green. Instead I decided to respond to this and then shut off the video and move on lol
You didn't mention price points. Obviously the quality of a 50$ one is going to be worse than a 250$ one. You don't see car reviews where they put a Honda civic up against a Ferrari. It's not a fair fight
Prime Putt was so confident that I would love their mat the best, they sent me 4 of their competitors…. They also said that if I don’t pick their mat as number 1, they won’t pay me. That really set the confidence in to 100%. I don’t actually use this one when I practice much. I go back and forth between 2 others that I like more. But Prime Putt is still the best by far. You can trust me. I have zero reasons to not be totally honest. There are things I really like about all these mats. I was told I am allowed to say that. But if you really want to have the “most realistic feel” you need to buy the most expensive mat in the video, even though it has the least amount of features
People are mad that Prime Putt sponsored the video but they sent some decent competition as well! I've used the Perfect Practice and the markings and ball retriever are pretty nice, just not a realistic putting experience 😅 When I practice, I personally need to focus on placing the right line and ball speed, and the Prime Putt really does roll like a true green! And you can put towels underneath to imitate a break 😉
$280 to $500. I have no problem paying for quality. As soon as I saw it I knew that was the one to get. I want the real feel not the mini golf feel. Thank you.
Practice Perfect is garbage. Cheap surface material, sides of mat curl up, and not wide enough. Ball return is a gimmick. The slope up is super annoying and unrealistic. I would never hit a real out with that much force to get it in the hole. It soooo bad guys.
How can you tell its high quality? All these videos say that. How the hell are we to know? Other than oh you can tell😂 bullshit... what's the stand what materials are best? Prehistoric petrified sloth hair is the best for a fake putting Matt 😳 tell me I'm wrong How would you know? 🤔
I have the Practice perfect, came with some great tips and drills, also an alignment mirror which wasn’t mentioned. It rolls as good as any in my opinion and the ball retrieving function is the best part, get more putts in less time, efficient.
I put a rolled up piece of thin carpeting which is about 2 to 2 1/2 inches in diameter under my putting mat to create a small hill. Sometimes in two spots…and of course sometimes not at all…✌🏼✌🏼
this seems like a shill, def very biased and most likely sponsored for doing the video. "after reviewing i chose to partner" that right there throws your input out the window on ranking anything. you could say you partnered "AFTER" but is a bold face lie.
I love birdieball mats. It looks like cheap foam but rolls true, comes in different speeds and you can order custom sizes. Easy to roll up and put away when not in use with no seems/creases.
Dadgumit… I’ve had one of these mat’s for a long time and just ordered a different one b/c of your review Zac.. thanks! 😂
You won’t be disappointed 👊
Got my husband a PrimePutt mat in the fall and he still loves to putt on it daily. Can’t recommend it enough!
You can never have too many 😂
Solid review, Zac! I liked the comparison.
@@HelloelishaThat would definitely make for a great gift!🎉
I could use some extra practice on my putting game 😅 Always good content brother!!!
Much love my man 👊
Hopefully Prime Putt sent you a second one for yours truly!
We will have to see sir!

my perfect practice gets a bunch of ripples in the mat, I gotta get one of these turf ones.
I like the Well Putt because of the stroke training tools. Perfect arc for training your putting stroke.
I have the putt-out and what I dislike about it most is that after about 5 putts you have to smooth down the depressed track that forms on it.
I wonder which gulf club he used to putt with? I’m completely new to gulf and bought a book on the subject, now seeing this I need to buy this to practice at home
I think it's a nine iron
Looks like a scotty Cameron putter
Who knew Mr Stinger would do training product reviews, nice that 5 different ones were tested, not sure which one I like the best
Hope this gives you some insight when you look at getting a putting mat!

Big moss for the win

He ranked that 4th to last?
@@Trey-Truelovehe’s sponsored so his rank isn’t trustworthy.
They didnt send you a Birdie Ball mat?!?!
There’s no doubt the Prime putting mat is superior quality….now let’s hear how much ? 👍🏼👍🏼
$400
@@allendumich4809 ... YIKES !!
Is that all, in that case I will get one for each room
No you won't.
Nice, you’re only 1/4 inch below the ball. That’ll translate nicely.
$400 dollars though ? That’s a little much
Over $400.00 way out of range of most people
Paid Promotion.... of course

Really giving off some biased vibes.
let's hope you get better. btw, you played with Hannah last time, have you tried some of their ShortGameGains stuff?
Who knew prime putt would of came in #1 on their sponsored video 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I was gonna shut the video off as soon as I heard prime sent them a free green. Instead I decided to respond to this and then shut off the video and move on lol
What’s wrong with the Matt?
Yeah strange coincidence all the others weren’t “what he was looking for in a putting mat” 😂
@@escapegravitymedia what’s wrong with the Matt?
Wellputt mat has changed my putting for the better. I so much confidence. My score has dropped by my strokes
Prime putt is definitely the nicest. Just didn't mention it is 5x as expensive as the others.
You didn't mention price points. Obviously the quality of a 50$ one is going to be worse than a 250$ one. You don't see car reviews where they put a Honda civic up against a Ferrari. It's not a fair fight
That would look nice in my office!
You could absolutely use one of these in the office!
Wow the Prime Putt one does seem really nice!!
Absolutely love it!
Thanks for taking the time to do an analysis like this - well done!
Hope this helps you find the right one 👊
The prime putt is outrageously expensive
Informative video. Where did you get that electric fireplace? Love it
I should probably get one of these...... So I can crush you next time!! lol. -bryan
Haha well I can definitely say it will help 👊

Really like those cups on the primeputt. The hole tool on the big moss is interesting too.
