And I can't defend myself because I am using ship crewed for hostile grinding, so don't say I'm using the wrong crew. Scopely is an absolute joke at this point. Another huge F month

Not only are these reasonable but IMHO more important these are NOT locked behind a token space to enter. Thus allowing players to play with crews more easily without the annoyance of possibly losing a token. Biggest complaint with the silent from others was being behind token space; that it limits players from experimenting with their crew/ship/research setup and waiting more for feedback. Least with such token systems and new content be nice if they gave more tokens up front or allow the system to be open for the first week. Maybe in the starting regions 40's keep those without tokens.
This Arc has nothing to do with Star Trek and in response, I have quit spending money till this stupidly ends. If we all stopped spending, Scopley would wake up and take notice.
I’m guessing he didn’t use a crew like that because there’s such a big difference between a T1 5/11 and a T5. Newer players won’t have her tiered, and he wanted to make a generic video that would apply to all players (ok, viewers).
@@evh3811 I have a Pilum that gets 50% from the ship ability. Add that to E Picard and E Data, and that’s what, 100%? You’re at 150% before 5/11. For easy math, let’s assume a 50% 5/11. In this example, 5 boosts your loot only 25% of the total boost (50%/200%=25%). If you’re using Lorca or 100% Torres and Hugh, you’re doing 50% more critical damage on most hits. If you’re able to kill, say, 33% more hostiles because you can kill them fast before they do a lot of damage to your ship, you’ll get more loot from, say, Lorca than you would from having 5 instead. Hope that makes sense. Of course, I made up some of these numbers, so it could work out differently in practice. But this is my best guess.
Great to see a new loop that has an interesting mechanic, is straight forward and not restricted behing tokens! Still yet another loop but this one I'm certainly not mad about. The score this month is gonna be intresting, it'll be a massively polarised one for sure. Edit: btw, nice that monaveen has a potential new purpose, BUT we'll need to see how things evolve if that thing will still be doable. With this months other mechanic the mona auto loop is currently made undoable...
The monovien is a ship built from someone on an acid trip. Between yet more loops and so called rewards, scoply keeps pushing the pay to play to an unhealthy level.
Pew Pewwww! Definitely sharing this with my struggling high 30s/lower 40s. And, well everyone. So thankful they're not token locked. And thankful for this video!
Best result for me has been E Pic/Data/Lorca. Caveats: -I don’t have a good Torres. If I did, I’d use Rev’s crew with Janeway instead of Lorca. -Hull breach paired with Hugh below gives 1.5x iso damage just like regular damage starting round 2 when Hugh activates. -I’m using an interceptor, so breach adds even more iso damage (4.5% for my t9 artifact).
I just recently turned level 40 after camping for more than a year at level 39. I put Pike, Moreau, and T’Laan on the bridge, and the Voyager crew plus Nurse Chapel Mariner Beckett below decks. Then I used a battleship exocomp, and sent the Cerritos and the Titan-A to support the Augur. I got obliterated. So no Gorn points for me.
When this first started my Data was in token space mining, so I had to go for critical build and mitigation to boost my isolytic damage. It wasn't cheap so I've been raiding more to cover the costs. Obviously I'm doing more pvp than I need to as a result 😂.
This loop is about 10x easier for me than the silent hostiles. I still can't kill more than 1-2 of the silent hostiles a run. lv 55 is an awful place for silent hostiles but this loop is very manageable for me.
I’m lvl 39. In yesterday’s Battle Pass, Gorn ships were a 20 point per ship option or PVP. I could not destroy any Gorn ships with my 8.3 mil power Ent with different crews. (I don’t have any Enterprise officers.) PVP is tricky to not start a war. (I play late at night.) I ended up destroying 300 PvE ships to finish the BP. Super grind was not fun.
as a 38 I do about 15 of the lvl 40 with my ent before being sent home. I use e-pic/data/janeway and I make sure kim is bdo to bring the artifacts into play

Great video, I am not strong in iso damage but I have a few artifacts and E-Data. I am OPS 46 but can't only kill 40's. I think I can make some changes and get a couple 43's. I didn't send out a critical build under deck.
I might be in the minority but I like what they are doing with these new hostiles lately. These hostiles require you to think and adapt to be successful . The game has also essentially listened and eliminated a couple of older loops with the EX Borge exchange this eliminates the monoveen grind it also eliminates aged my Borge loop I can just pull those resources once a week . They also eased the Stella loop so this is pretty good for my gameplay . So if they keep easing the older loops and replace them with new loops I am cool with it. The thing is if they dont add new loops the game might get stale and that is no good either. Thanks for all the content I enjoy it it is an escape from the daily negativity on the ole tv .

Not impressed. Most Isolytic sources are not available for f2p. This has become a horrible trend. Game loops and mechanics are being designed around things that are only available through the store or some other exclusive means.

I also tried a tier 3 gilded pickle with tier 1 Monaveen Barrage and Pike Moreau E-Data and swapped Kim with Neelix. Only Troi and Neelix below decks though. That didn't take the Pteran's hull below 55%! So less than 1/2 a Pteran!!! Sure, these are easy...
These Gorn hostiles is a € spender only game option. Impossible Todo without Janeway and epic. I almost never get shards for them, maybe 2 per year. With a maxed augur and maxed enterprise also impossible. Maybe in the late 40s or spend a lot of money.
lvl 39, maxed g3 Epics... tried the crew mentioned... still only got about 10 percent of the hull damaged on the 40 Macronyx. So much for a lvl 39 being able to beat these.

Punching up doesnt work. Ive tried every crew option I have and I'm just frustrated. I'm a F2P and am at the verge of just quitting. I haven't been able to kill any ships in the last few archs. I watch the videos, change the crews, go there with hope and nothing. One night i tried 6 times to kill 1 Gron ship. That's stupid.
i was lucky to get data in the flash pass would love nurse chapel best officer out of the 3 can isolytic damage be used in normal pve hostiles tho data probably best used with an amalgam for a lower player cargo size i also have hoshi sato for cargo size and stonn i only need 2 of 11 then have everything for when i get the amalgam im currently ops23 and have 74 pike shards like can you use a PM with a data for example and nurse chapel below deck

This is the new stfc. Klingon building is permaent. Scheduled pvp weekly. Pvp leaderboards. They will likely add even more pvp. Not a game I want to play anymore
The reason I believe Borg Cutting Beam doesn’t work is strictly gameplay. If Isolitic only does damage then the cutting beam should not work because it does not use that.
It has nothing to do with game play. If the cutting beam worked on the new hostile you would not be forced into investing time into the most coordination intensive Armadas or buying ships and officers to get you to a sufficient level of damage that you accept that a fraction of your damage potential is functional. Basically if the cutting beam worked there would be a F2P path AND you would be able to minimize your damage so cheaper repair/less spent on packs for resources.

This update is complete garbage, PVP IS NOT WORTH ANYTHING! This will be of no benefit to any player lvl 50 or under. This of course is completely seen in your home alliance of Iron Armada killing everyone making the game completely unplayable to anyone. Why? Because your alliance has nothing but player level 50+. Rev talk to your alliance members and get them to stop killing everything that moves so that people can actually play the game!
Or or I can treat them the same way as silent enemies and ignore them because there not worth doing ( AKA too much resources for too little rewards js Doply)
so far this update is really good so many little life improvements, gorn are not bad, simple fast loop, then all of it over shadowed by the forced pvp (yes i know it's non grind grind loop) its does add time to do pvp, because 2/3 to 3/4 pleyer base does not average 5 plus player kills s day. increased opc hunting decreses available opc. as a player i have my protected cargo timed on nodes so i don't get popped constantly. nothing worse then waiting a couple hours and than getting popped for next to nothing opc.
How about you really help people and put out a video on how this new PVP thing is ruining the game. That is causing people to leave the game. Doesn’t your lively hood depend on this game? Don’t you have a family? What are you going to do when it’s nothing but Whales left? Do the community some real good and put out a video on that.
I fully agree with everything you said but you are forgetting something super important. All the free to play people leaving don’t pay any of the bills. The whales carry the whole game. Unless everyone buys a little every month their opinions will always be worth almost nothing. Only the big spenders will have a say. Just something to remember.
Dude I don’t care you are way above me and at level 40 these things are not beatable. Mine is tier 7 and level 35 and I get 6 rounds no matter what crew. Scopley can go scratch I’m not paying hundreds of dollars just to hit these things or the waves.

Ok, so TLDR spend time and money on all the time consuming crap they added in the last year to get enough ISO damage to be relevant because they shut down cutting beam as that would make it almost easy but definitely cheaper.

I have to say it’s another bad arc scopley has gotten really bad at screwing over free to play. Adding ships you can’t get without buying. Give tokens for events and not have the new ship in the event store it’s totally bs. Game is so bad full of glitches and bugs and scopley wants to screw people over trying to force players to buy crap at outrageously high prices for a few code strings . You and the rest should talk about that

I haven't spent in a couple months. I was putting my bp money towards Content Creators. Sadly I think my time is limited.

Gorn hostiles and mechanics are fine. The new building and incentives for forced PVP are not.

Being a slow roller really helped with this loop.

How about you really help people and put out a video on how this new PVP thing is ruining the game. That is causing people to leave the game. Doesn’t your lively hood depend on this game? Don’t you have a family? What are you going to do when it’s nothing but Whales left? Do the community some real good and put out a video on that.
I fully agree with everything you said but you are forgetting something super important. All the free to play people leaving don’t pay any of the bills. The whales carry the whole game. Unless everyone buys a little every month their opinions will always be worth almost nothing. Only the big spenders will have a say. Just something to remember.

Dude I don’t care you are way above me and at level 40 these things are not beatable. Mine is tier 7 and level 35 and I get 6 rounds no matter what crew. Scopley can go scratch I’m not paying hundreds of dollars just to hit these things or the waves.

Ok, so TLDR spend time and money on all the time consuming crap they added in the last year to get enough ISO damage to be relevant because they shut down cutting beam as that would make it almost easy but definitely cheaper.

I have to say it’s another bad arc scopley has gotten really bad at screwing over free to play. Adding ships you can’t get without buying. Give tokens for events and not have the new ship in the event store it’s totally bs. Game is so bad full of glitches and bugs and scopley wants to screw people over trying to force players to buy crap at outrageously high prices for a few code strings . You and the rest should talk about that

calling fkin bs on this vid, l45 here with a maxed 45 enti used pmt/psu/pld and i cant get a kill at all dead in round 7 am ftp and dont have the janeway crew
