- A grind that @everyone has to push themselves to do is rep grinding. If you follow my STFC content on Twitch you know how much I tend to loathe rep grind. BUT, as a necessary evil in Star Trek Fleet Command what are some of the best (and most efficient) ways of going about it? Well in this quick video I try to go over some of the ways you can start your rep grind whether you're level 16 or level 60!

if you can afford it - with your ship power and dont really rely on efficiency: go for the - what i call - GREED crew. which is ente-pic as captain, along ent-e data and 5/11, also having alonzo freeman and the doc below decks while popping reputation exocomps.
yes you sacrifice an amount of possible kills but you gain more rep
Also if Paris below (with high enogh stacking) you still get max normal mitigation. And Hugh, Torres, E Troi / Odo there gives the extra damage. So it's not a weak kind of greed crew. Only 5 being the actual "greed" component.
The current rep grinding event has 6* and 5* in the same bracket. Thats BS

This. Just another skip event, waste of time and the opposite of fun. Been a while now, perhaps better to start skipping the game entirely 😅 all my alliance members that left and still chat on discord seem way more happy after.
Logged in hopeful without seeing this vid. Saw the level 65's+ in same bracket as my mid 50 account, ignored event. Excellent game design.

Best crew is E-Picard (Capt.), E-Data, and 5 of 11 with the Doc and Alonzo Freeman below.
Additionally, use a faction ship is anti the faction you're hitting. Example, use a Rom ship to hit Fed. This is research dependent.
Using Fleet Commanders Kirk and Sloan for their rep skills and pop those rep exos.
I'm getting approx. 400K rep per kill on a Lvl 53 survey.
I'm a battlepass only Ops 48 using a T7 Korinar for grinding.

@@oleonard7319 e pic and e data combo is 100% rep, my T4 5of11 is 80% rep, my max ghalenar is 20% rep. Unless scopely broke ghalenar, the numbers disagree
this is my rep grinding crew..
This event is simply a sign that Scopely doesn't give a shit about average players: only about whales that spending tons of money - of course the bigwigs need holiday allowance. Scopely promised improvement, with this kind of events, is the immediate death blow to any form of trust in it

My grinding crew is Epic Pike, Moreau, T'laan on the Bridge, Alonzo Freeman in the first slot below decks
Logged in for first time in months, spent 40 mins claiming chests / refining / setting up buildings and research. Remembered why I quit in the first place so much work to do just the basics!
Crews:
1) E Pic / E Data / 5 of 11 (Alanso bd @ 20%) on 46 rare
2) Janeway / Kim / Moreau (Doc bd at 20%)
3) SNW James Kirk / SNW Hemmer / SNW Una
If I have time to sit down and focus, +100%, +70%, and +40% exos going together.
Don’t forget lower decks Alphonso
When I want to send 3 ships to hit in Sol, I’ll crew them with:
1) Beverly, Georgiou, Tal
2) Picard, Riker or Data, T’Laan
3) Pike, Moreau, Chen
1 & can hit the Heavies while 3 hits the regular transports
I use SNW Pike as captain, Harry Kim and Galinah (Chunky Borg) on side with Alonzo Freeman below decks and hit heavy surveys in Capital systems. With exocomps.
I got Rom to glorified, Fed and Klingon to commended. Although I have noticed increase isn't as much as it was before I reached commended.
There's also missions that give out rep, but I seem to have run out of Fed 45+ missions.
Thanks for the video Rev. This event and officer shard slbs for the G5 players is complete garbage. a G6 player can get 1 pack in the pay store and get billions of rep where a g5 can't get the same pack or hit the same hostiles and daily rewards are different per ops. But yet on the gorn event there is 51-55 and 56-60 ops brackets. I thought there wasn't enough of population to split the groups, where's the consistency here Scopley? On this channel, there is a video for standards.. Be sure to watch it. My favorite rep grinding crews - Janeway, EMH, Harry Kim.. 5, Gallenghar - Chen/tlann/ cath. SNW crew is a good 3rd.

Picard-E, Data-E, Riker-E (or 5 for the loot). Throw Paris below for mitigation and you can kill any red with this crew.
Right now my best punch up grind crew is 5, gorkon, e data, with chapel Hugh and the doctor below decks

There's a limit to how many reds you can kill a day, soooo... your limited
I use e-pic/5/fat borg on the bridge of my pilum with EMH and Freeman below. My Fat Borg gives me a higher percentage than Kim currently.

Im doing all dailies and grind after only the one i want to up with exocom! Almost icon with Romulan!
Maybe look at event before you say “anyone can go after it!” Another scopley we don’t make our month event so let’s sell rep packs. So how does one compete with a cc warrior lol???
Simple, out grind them. That's what I did to finish mine. (Keep in mind if you're level 51+ that's likely impossible. I've chose to not go that high)
Are there any particularly good systems for rep grinding ?
SPike SHemmer Lorca on interceptor, Jane Bela Doc and EPica EData Khan. I dont like use PMC cause on 51+ all ships have 50/50 shots on energy/kinect
What about systems? Sol, Romulus and Kronos or go higher?

With rep packs in the store, f2p has exactly 0% chance of winning this no matter how much they grind up to hostile daily limit... complete pay event which also boosts them in the arc long events

Rep Grinding is something thats basically needed the more money you spend. As a f2p approaching OPS 56, my rep grinding was basically non existent and everything unlocked in time. I have seen more people messing up their reputation and get issues with completing their daily than complaining about a lack of rep.
Isn’t there also a building that boosts rep rewards too?
Nobody has mentioned Ghalenar as a rep crew member, his officer ability.. so 5 (c) Ghalenar and Khan or Kang or (lots of other possibilities)
some perspective, I ground rep for over 20 hrs this event, had 1st place most of time. wake up this morning and a couple peeps won buying a pack or two. fortunately I was needing to rep anyway. But still, that's how easily you can lose

You said it before I got the chat open to type lol. As a lvl 53 I can't get top 50 in this, not a chance. This is one event that would pair nicely with an sms. That way I could at least get something for the grind. But i Don like a rep grind event. Takes some skill with crew and ship selection.
MR T below deck one is cool hope i get enough currency to got him got t2 chapel and 40 bp to centi im pretty happy just did not like hirogen events lost alot of currency from that worst event ever in my opinion

I regret liking the Klingon first lock. As I don’t care about their ships and I could have used them to auto grind ship exp faster than in augment space.

NOT every hostile gives reputation. Only FACTION hostiles drop reputation. There are TONS of Neutral hostiles that give no reputation.

You forgot to mention away teams that pay out faction rep
One of the advantages of the slow play is having great research and strong ships so can punch way up. I am still ops 45 but I will be grinding 5* tonight.
Sloan has an always active fkr rep ability dont even need him in a seat.

61+ have weekly rep packs in each faction with 10+ bil rep

Rev - the 51-70 bracket isn't 5% of the game anymore. In my server, it's become a much larger portion of the population. I can't even get in the top 50 let alone hope to be competitive. I could grind all day and I still couldn't get close to a single daily turn-in for one of them. It's not an event a f2p can hope to win. Scopely needs to fix this.
Technically more than 5%, but it's still less than 10%. We have the numbers. less 25K players 51-70, over 250K active players.
@@RevDeuce I would assume that's across the entire active player base. How do those numbers change when you go to older servers?
Obviously older servers will have a higher population density north of 50. Absolutely, but the difficult in/for the game is where the population is as a whole.
I was looking forward to this until someone pointed out the pay store rep package. I'm also at the low end of my bracket so it was going to be tough anyway but with the pay store? Nah
I finished 1st, just ground it out!

The 51-70 bracket is beyond stupid.
Rep grinding sucks. I suggest ignoring it. Haven’t done it in a year+. My rep is currently 15bil fed and 121bil in Kli/Rom and I do none.
Yeah, I hate it too. I would advice doing it as little as possible and as late as possible while still meeting your goals (like a certain ship). Doing it early on is such a waste of time and energy when later you can get the same rep in 1 hit that earlier takes you days.
So many grinds in this game that it's impossible for most ppl to do them all and on top lots of rep grinding. Most of those other loops give more value and shouldn't be ignored in favor of too early and too ambitious rep grinding.
*For clarification, rep is very important. I do all the research for maxing it and when hitting faction hostiles use optimal rep boost crew for the purpose.
Just spending time on it early on or beyond your immediate need isn't worth it, in my opinion. Increase in payouts isn't that much.

Good event, except bad bracketing and trash having this while also putting rep items in the $$ store (Which of course if Scopely's intent - to run it as P2W as they do with about everything.)
Those packs are sold every week, so that just happened to be two things coexisting at one time, but wasn't intention.

Yup, another SLB that sucks for G5 players, as all SLBs since G6 was released ... Another SLB to ignore.
No point me trying to compete in the Rep event, only 50 places and competing with players who have all the Ent crew, and can kill higher level hostiles with better reputation gains. That's before you even talk about credit card warriors.
Yeah garbage event for anyone between 51-59. Not worth the time for half a officer shard if you happen to get into the top 50. Game is getting close to running it's course with me

This sucks! I fell behind on everything in the game... The amount of time needed to finish all events sucks.
To me it just seems the game is more pay to win each month. Why have brackets anyway? Just let the high lvl spenders get the rewards they rightfully deserve. They spent all that money after all they are special
Let see, i can hit up to 1500 hostile for hours while others need 30 seconds to get 500M rep via cash store. yep,yeah totally, F2P have a chance.

SLB bracket that includes 51-70 is worthless/pointless waste of time. It is a bad event.
