i have 2 good tips, first when your still up at 3 am, think to yourself that it is not the whole world if you skip to sleep one day and don't try to sleep just try to relax and breath
only a few things can really make me sleep, memories and this kind of mind manipulation thing, when i try NOT to fall asleep, I fall asleep, what i used to do to stay away was move any limb like a hand or a foot to stay awake, which always made me fall back asleep anyway, so now to fall asleep I do slow movements to associate my brain with sleep and finally go to bed.
Quick added tip for the clock thing, this may make a couple iffy, but it works for me. Turn you alarm clock ahead 5 or 10 minutes. This should be self explanatory. Just make sure your phone clock is right, and TURN, IT, OFF... Night every one!

I always wake up in the middle of the night and I have no idea why. I mean I just can't get a good night's sleep. I will wake up and sit up in my bed thinking about nothingness. Then when I finally go to sleep, I wake up 15 min later and can't go to sleep. I have gone to sleep early but I'm still drowsy and groggy in the morning. And I always want to sleep when I get to school. And then when I do get a good night's sleep, I still usually get up in the middle of the night with a weird nightmare like: me about to fall off a tall building, a crazy lady about to kill me, my little sister trying to kill, or either me alone in a dark room and theirs a ghost lady or something about to attack. I seriously don't know what's going on. Because usually I just can't sleep or I just have a nightmare and I can't go back to sleep. Do you guys know why this happens???
Thanks but for some reason I instead can sleep easier with the light on and TV on! I had a week of lights off and I had trouble sleeping. That explains why I don't have sleep overs.
I watched this video 30 minutes before bed. Will that distract me??? Also, I sleep with my tablet in my room every night and I don't get distracted from faking asleep.
I literally fell asleep at 3:30 last night, I had to skip the first couple periods of school otherwise I would have been walking around with 3 hours of sleep
