The Tone King, I think that all of the people that responded negativly should do what I did... Before I bought the Line6 Spider V 240v, I went to a demonstration by Line 6 @ a local Guitar Center. The reps name was Victor, the same guy in all of the Line 6 sponsored videos, and there were only 3/4 people there. He sat with me and the others for over two hours and showed me the features and it blew me away. We dialed in tones and played from Beatles to Beach Boys, AC/DC to Zeppelin, STP, Incubus, Jazz, R&B and all kinds of genres. The amp could do it all. Now, did it have tube warmth, not quite but when I'm playing live I've never heard, "I think your missing that tube warmth, Bob!" This is amp is great, from novice to pro. BTW, the Spider V 30 or 60 isn't in the same class as the 120 and 240. Bottom line is I was once was a "Tube/Tone Snob" too, then years ago I bought a Spider Valve 212 MkII by Bogner, because it had tubes from a recommendation from a friend... Fell in love with it, had the warmth, tone and all the effects built in. It was because of my Line 6 experience with that amp, that I was open to check out the new version Spider V. I'm glad I did! I'm glad that I got to see it in action by someone (Victor) who knew what he was talking about and to hear it live for myself instead of relying a video. Another thing, I've had so many tubes blow at live events it's nice that Solid State is much more reliable! I enjoyed your review and keep em' coming!
I agree with all 5 points. I have the 60 with the transmitter. I almost didn't get it because of all the negativity online and was pleasantly surprised when I tried it out. It's simple, easy to use and among all the presets there are at least a dozen good ones. It's great for practice and has 2 way USB audio with ASIO streaming drivers. When you combine it with the full range speaker it's great for using stuff like Rocksmith or yousician since the backing tracks sound reasonably good through the amps speaker and it's low latency enough for realtime feedback EVEN with the awesome wireless. It sounds pretty good, though I'd have preferred a 1x12 for the extra grunt I'm really glad I got it..
The one thing I don't like about the Spider V is the power switch being on the back of the combo. It limits where you can locate the unit since you have to be able to reach over the top to activate the rocker switch. Since it is closed back I was thinking of setting it into a side table in my study. Not a biggie but I noticed the previous gen had it on the front panel. Another thing I like over the Marshall CODE for instance is that it doesn't use a fragile miniB USB but the much more robust large square TypeB plug.
I agree - you nailed it. I have spent considerable time researching the dizzying choice of modelling amps. Most have their strengths and weaknesses but as you point out, this is Line 6's domain. I ended up buying the V120 MkII with the pedal board. Great video! Thanks!
Guys, it's a reasonably priced amp. Noone said this will replace a Engl full stack or a Marshal SLP. It's fun and probably sounds pretty good for what it does. Chill out on my dude, The Tone King-he rocks...and no, I'm not sponsored by the Tone King or any of his affiliates.
I don't see why almost everyone hates these amps . They are not the best amp I've ever used but certainly not the worst . They are easy to use and you can get some pretty decent tones out of them . I bought it and don't regret it
People hate them , because no one does their research and see people bash it, then conclude that it must be bad. That coupled with a long history in the lineup. Heck, listen to a GSP5 from back in the day to an 1101 and that's is. The same story with this. It's evolved, but the shallow minded followers can't get beyond the haters. Unfortunate reality. I hope this video shows the other side.
I think it's because of the name. "Line 6" is not named after a man as are Fender and Marshall and many others. In addition to the name, Line 6 has never made tube amps so there is no Tube amp heritage. Companies like Boss/Roland can get away with not having a tube amp heritage because they have been around many years and are deeply connected to music and guitar playing. Lastly, "modelling" amplifiers is a somewhat new concept and many people resist anything new. Purchasing a Modelling guitar amp is new and is very different and it's going out on a limb. I'm 74 and only began using a Line 6 modelling amp within the last 5 months. I started with a Line 6 212 200 watt combo amp., then purchased the Line 6 412 speaker cab because it was at a very low price point. Just today I received my Line 6 Spider V240HC and it's now connected to the Line 6 412 cab. So far so good. I am liking the features and the sound that I am hearing. -Peter
I almost didn't buy the Spider V 60 based on all of the internet hate, but a Rockshop salesperson talked me into trying it out. The presets were disappointing so I did the following: Chose a preset, turned every effect off, chose an amp model that sounded good, turned the gain down, chose a cab that made it sound better, chose a mic that made it sound better (these are all options within the amp btw), tweaked the 4 band eq (push the gains up to around 6 on the low and high mids, then adjust the mid frequencies to find that sweet spot). Realised my pickups on the guitar were a bit low, raised them, and there it was, the tone I was after. I now approach every program the same way and I'm happy with the tones, effects and versatility. I use the FBV shortboard with it, to put all of that technology onto the floor. There are some cool features, I like having the ability to fade from clean to dirty using the expression pedal, for example. The Cubase package it came with is perfect for my needs (demos/songwriting) and was part of the pull. I bought a condenser mic and run that through the amp for recording vocals, percussion and acoustic guitar (also record acoustic guitar plugged into the amp and mix the 2 tracks). The acoustic tones are particularly good and instantly achievable, whereas the rock tones took more work. It has plently of volume for the rehearsal room, although admittedly I haven't gigged it yet. It has a little less punch than my previous amp - a one-trick-pony Marshall valve combo that kicked like a mule - but for a budget amp, it does many jobs well.
I swear Line 6 gets hated on just because of it's name. Guitar players who's sole opinion is tube or nothing are the equivalent of the elderly who don't understand how to work a smartphone. I personally have played many shows with my Spider IV and every time, it never fails, I have had some tube snob come up and say "That thing sounds beast, I didn't know Line 6 could do that." I just respond with, "It's in there, you just got spend the time to find it, and it'll be good to you."
Totally agree Tone King! My stage amp is a Mesa Mark V combo but this sweet little Spider V gets much more of my practice time. So many features packed into this amp its a steal at the price. Rock on!
I'm glad that someone like the Tone King made a video like this and it's not about how something sucks right out of the gate. All those features in a practice amp with a good explanation of how usable something can be is to me great. Back in the day a digital rig with all this stuff would've been about $10 000! And when you tried a rig like that you would often hear bees buzzing in a jar for multiple K's of money! But I knew even back then that it wasn't about the technology sucking or not being capable of good tones, but those presets! If you knew how to dial in a decent tone and used heavy equalizing to further help you, you could get all the tones in the world even from a simple distortion box! So if people can honestly say that they can't sound good on these new technology gadgets with all the possibilities at their fingertips, it is just sad! Maybe if they were sent to a desert island with a 70s gorilla amp, no batteries included they would learn a thing or two! The native gorilla would even give them all the "battery" ever needed for their bashing of his namesake amp! Cheers!
yuuuup now I'm def getting the 120 for my studio!!!...thanks tone king!...you rock and I always try and follow your advice...or at least give it a try...iv always liked line 6 tones...
Thanks for that video...I'm getting back into playing and I've been back and forth over the line 6 and peavy vypyr and I think you just sold me on the line6!
I got a spider 4 - 75W amp like 10+ yrs ago for $50. It used to piss me off, but it's really a pretty cool practice amp. It's nice to see that these amps are evolving .. and a lot of the annoying glitches have been resolved. The addition of tubes is huge, and now these amps are kinda bitchin'.
I have been playing 40 years and I love this amp ...you can make it sound like any Amp ever made just about . I can make it sound exactly like Chuck Berry or Black Sabbath , Deep Purple or the Beach Boys ..its endless.....The sound Quality of the 12" Speaker and High end Tweeter is awesome .....This thing cuts....120 watts of power with My V-120 is all the Power I would ever need and more. Love this AMP...Best Amp I have ever owned.....
circle of fat yeah, no. Maybe 15 or 30 could keep up but not 5. 5w amps can only play loud when they're breaking up (and still not as loud as 120 ss watts), but for a clean sound? Not even close!
Lot of haters of this amp ! It's unbelievable cause I can get any sound out of my 60 watt and the sound has improved a bunch! Djent sounds are easy to get and can really sound close to a Mesa! Effects are awesome and the best part is hooking this up to your iPhone !!Go buy it!!!
Anything that can generate this much “hate” is on to something... It’s not being sold as a Rectifier or a 5150, but it’s sure as Hell far beyond just being serviceable. I get modeling amps being a direct affront to hot, seasoned tubes but if you actually put a little effort into dialing in a sound, you might just like it...
wow very polished video and the editing was clean/organized easy to follow your points/entertaining. keep rockin TK and I'll leave you with one of these: \m/
it really is a great modeling amp/....good vid Tone....I love mine....actually I'm on my second newer one....great for beginners as well as other guitarist....great for backstage....bedroom.....
Nice review of the options, waiting for the sound demo. The biggest problem I've seen with Line6 is that their presets are usually overblown. By that I mean it seems like they turn everything to 10 to show off the effect or preset. Once a person fiddles with them a bit they sound just fine on the demos I've listened too. One last thing Shane Diiorio has gigged a long time with and has many demos and reviews of the Fender Mustang amps covering a myriad of tones so you probably want to retract that a bit :)
+ArielsSmartyPants you are right. I should retract my mustang amp comment. Maybe that came from my own experience. I bought the head to learn it would not run in an aftermarket stereo cabinet. It needed to be fully isolated. Rubbed me the wrong way. It also seemed very basic to me. But again, only my opinion. I'm sure folks out there love & enjoy that amp. thanks ASM.
Loved the outro music here. Good quick review. Really don't want another amp. Seems like they could make this in a floor pedal for even cheaper than the amp. No cab no speaker,,, seems like they could do it.
I miseed the dance part the first time I watched or should I say I listened to the video. :-) I like your way of presenting products, no drama to generate views just your opinion. People are free to agree or not and you don`t go after them with a vengeance. People often forget the internet is a business and some youtubers go to extremes to generate views and subscriptions not in your case. Keep up the good work.
I think the issue is TK has the line 6 spider 60. The SMG guys had the 30 I think and complained about the boxiness. There's a big difference between the small and large ones.
no,its about ANY spider amp,not the boxiness just the absolute shitiness, i had one for 1 hour once.it was a useless pile of nasty sounding ass. i regrettably paid $20 for a 15 watt but rather than have it back in some poor bastard guitar players hands i smashed it into a thousand little plastic pieces.
Can't wait to get one thrown into a used guitar deal. Great amps compared to higher priced crap beginner amps from 70's 80's and 90's. Would like to see a Vyper and Blackstar review TK. I like the Peavey and Blackstar offerings for the best sounds over Fender and Line 6.
I sold all my practice amps, foot pedals and modeling interfaces. For the money I bought a Spider V 30 with FTV Express pedal. Now I have a lot more versatile and better sounding setup for actually less money. Not to forget it includes a license for Cubase LE with lots of plugins so I also have a little home recording studio. It’s not the best sounding amp but better value for money is difficult to find.
It looks like on guitar centers website you have to buy the wireless thing and the floor pedal separate that's an extra 99$ 250$ bringing the total to $750 before taxes. That's kind of a downer but so far I really like the amp. It sounds good and has way more options than my mustang 3
Hey, I enjoy your videos but I'll disagree with you on the Mustang. I have a Mustang III and I have it dialed in to a couple of tones that are just awesome. I play a Fender tele and a strat and play primarily country and the sound I am getting is fantastic. You are probably right if you are trying to play a Les Paul and what the Marshall sound. But it is great for what I do.
Mustang III sounds really good but the lower models not so much. The III is open back and sounds warmer and fuller. The closed back ones sound boxy and directional.
People don't hate on it just because it's a line 6 product. What's wrong with this thing is that there are plenty of better sounding amps for the price. Blackstar ID:core series, Boss Katana, Yamaha THR for example (or bias fx app and an audio interface). That doesn't mean that Line 6 didn't step up their game with this one, but i think they still can and need to improve a lot. They managed to make the Helix, so why couldn't they succeed in making affordable products too.
Many people are wanting Mac and Win PC editors for this. Line 6 requires us to vote at Ideascale so vote here: line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Spider-V-Computer-Interface/859001-23508
I also have a Katana which sounds good but I disagree that there are only 5 amps to choose . They have additional ones when you hook the amp up to your computer 💻 and go to the BOSS website
michael pitbull not only that but with all the ods, distortions, boosters and tube screamers theres a lot of flexibility for sure, though still not as much as the spider v, plus you HAVE to use the software to access and adjust all the different pedals. From the amp itself you get 3 of those kinds of drive/disto pedals and can control one parameter of them. Can't wait to try one im sure they're great. I have a spider v 60w on the way that i got used for 200. Also got a used vox vt40+ on the way, and i currently have the blackstar id core 40 v1 (with the latest firmware) that i got used, which i think sounds pretty good. Still looking for a good deal on a used katana 50 and maybe the newest vox vt40x or even av30. The plan is to try them all, keep my favorite and sell the rest. There are many appealing things about the spider v but one of the more appealing things about the katana is the 12" speaker. To get a 12" with the l6 or most other brands is too expensive.
Artcore103 yes I have a spider 5 and although it sounds good it still has a digitally sound to it as compared to the Katana! Personally I have a Fender mustang and I believe that sounds the best out of all them once u know how to configure the settings. The Fender presets sound like shit but when u tweak them the amp sounds very tubelike and not digital. The chorus and delay is awesome on the mustang
If you're just like practicing at home and get the Android Phone and/or Computer Apps working, I'd say you don't need a Pedalboard but if you're playing live gigging or such then the Pedalboard would be really nice feature also get one or two of those matching Line 6 Transmitter dongles for getting around stage easy.
I swear this is why will and Scott block people. The king writes that this is a video for the top 5 features of this amp and he delivers and then some and now I'm ready all this crap?? Don't click the link or watch the video ya negatives bastards
BOBBY THESE ARE MISERABLE PEOPLE WHO HATE LIFE SO THEY WANT TO DRAG PEOPLE DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL OF MISERY, LIKE THE OLD SAYING GOES, MISERY LOVES COMPANY AND ITS TRUE, THEY ARE STUCK IN A NEGATIVE STATE OF MIND AND ONLY LOOK AT THINGS THROUGH A NEGATIVE LENS, THEIR MISERY WONT LET THEM DO OTHERWISE, THAT WAS 1 OF THE THINGS I LEARNED FROM MY TIME STUDYING PSYCHOLOGY IN COLLEGE, PEOPLE LIKE THAT WILL ONLY SEE THE BAD WHERE AS PEOPLE TRYING TO LIVE A POSITIVE LIFE LIKE ME,YOU AND TK WILL LOOK AT SOMETHING AND SEE THE POSITIVE, NOW I PERSONALLY DIDN'T LIKE THE AMP FOR THE USES I HAD IN MIND AND WASN'T TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY BY THE TONE BUT I'M NOT GONA SIT HERE AND BASH IT BECAUSE ITS ALOT BETTER THEN PEOPLE SAY BUT FOR WHAT I NEED IT TO DO AND HOW I WANA USE IT BIAS OR AMPLITUBE IS A BETTER WAY TO GO FOR ME PERSONALLY, AT LEAST NOT ENOUGH TO GET RID OF MY TRUSTY PEAVEY VYPYR TUBE 6 WHICH I STILL THINK IS THE BEST IN THE CATEGORY BUT I DO WANT TO TRY THE VYPYR PRO 100 BUT I CAN NEVER FIND ONE TO TRY IN A STORE, JUST IGNORE THE IDIOT AND DONT RESPOND BECAUSE SOME OF THEM SEE PEOPLE RESPONDING AS VALIDATION OR THEY GET SATISFACTION, JUST IGNORE THEM AND ADD TO THEIR MISERABLE EXISTENCE, BTW EVERY1 I'M NOT YELLING, MY CAPS LOCK AND SHIFT KEY ARE BROKE BECAUSE I SMASHED THEM 1 NIGHT, PEOPLE KEEP SAYING I'M YELLING BUT WHO REALLY CARES THAT MUCH IF ITS IN CAPS
I think you need like a Printer to regular USB cable + OTG adapter (regular USB to Android Phone USB) to get it to work on Android. To work on a PC Computer you only need the Printer to regular USB cable.
Thanks mate I picked up one today an otg usb cable it's just that I haven't opened my amp yet it's a Christmas present for myself now I'm set to use everything I need.
THE PEAVEY VYPYR PRO 100 HAS ALOT OF DIFFERENT AMPS TOO, YOU STILL PLANNING ON DOING A FULL REVIEW ON IT OR HAS THAT SHIP SAILED AND SUNK OFF THE JERSEY COAST?
These amps make excellent small boat anchors, especially if you forget to tie the rope to them. The splash you hear will be the best tone it ever makes.
Dude you need to start a new channel "THE SALSA KING" hell yeah....love the music .. ...your dancing not bad..but A for effort. Sweet Sexy Salsa...yes. lol
Dude, it's cool that it has millions of options, but the reason it sounds like farting bees buzzing in a box dos not make it good in any way, that's why i avoid it and get actually good amps for that price. Or if i want a lot of options and choices i would rather spend it on a software because it still sounds better than that thing...........
I've seen better commercials. Who cares if it has 70 amps if they sound rubbish. I had a line 6 before, not going that route again. My amps only do 1 amp, and I'm fine with that.
Sorry I dislike this feature listing video absolutely. I enjoyed watching almost every video you brought out over the years but this sounds extremly biased. Tearing down the competence of the competitors in making modeling amps is rediculous. Only because line 6 makes them for a longer time does not mean anything.
Let me explain a bit. On my live webcast, I got bombarded with people that swore the Katana was BETTER. When I did my research, I discovered that they had a handful of genres. How is that even in the same league? So, much of my comparison was in response to the past Live show that I did, and the questions / feedback that came from that show. If you put that into context to the last live show, it may make more sense, why I compared. People ASKED me to compare, to there it is ...
This is crazy.. The Mustang 4 V2 is not a live amp... ? Ya ok....... Guess.I just watched a glorified payed ad here! Anyone thoughts on where the Peavey Vypyr Pro 100 lies in this mix... Why no mention?
+WaRLoKWYATT by the way - I respectfully disagree that the Vypyr is shit. It has some of the best distortion in a modeling amps. It's all analog. It also has great presets and killer footswitch options. Just my opinion of course. By the way Warlock - what do you like?
I've been a fan of yours from the very beginning of your channel and I've watched you grow and improve as a musician and a UA-camr, but this sounded like a sponsored video. Please don't do theses kinds of reviews anymore. I'm sure you have a good relationship with Line 6 you want to maintain, just review their good stuff and don't bother with the turds.
wow. 3 videos now dedicated to this amp? I'm starting to think that you're just trying to convince yourself. whatever floats your boat. I'll stick with my Marshall Code 100
hi guys the biggest problem with line 6 is people buy them, then they have buyers remorse because they genuinely suck. THEN they feel the need to justify their new "waste of money" purchase by lying about it being good.it is not great, not good or even o.k for that matter,it is dogshit amplified out of a speaker.do you like dogshit thrown at you?buy a line sux if you do then.
When you do a review give an un biased review for a change , the line 6 spider v amp is not a good product at all, see SpectreSound for a truthful review of the amp and its quality. Just doing paid reviews does not do much for your integrity and being honest about a product is pretty good practice so don't be afraid of the vendors complaining to you.
Thanks for a good time and a load of entertainment over the last 2 years. but this now becomes completely untrustworthy (especially if you watch the Marschall Code review just before ;)). Bye
+SuperSyracus Untrustworthy? I am not allowed to have an opinion on my channel anymore? That's nice. What part exactly is untrustworthy? When I told you you should buy it (which I didn't, that's sarcasm in case you didn't catch it). When I liked and told you how many amp models it has vs other similar units out there vs other similar units that folks asked me to comment on, from my live webcast? (No sarcasm here). This video was loaded with opinion and fact. Not sure what's untrustworthy about that. Bye.
The Tone King Don't get me wrong. If its your opinion, fine. But I'm simply doubting that this opinion is unbiased. Anyways, its Ok even if I'm right. I just would like to know if I watch a 'supported' vid or commercial. If I'm completely wrong, it might be just my fault and then its even better not to waste our both times. Don't think the -1 followers will hurt anyways. Wish you the best, and again thanks for your work the last 2 years.
+SuperSyracus for some people, they will do or say things for financial reward. For me, I pick and choose what I cover. And like a person with good manners, if I don't like it, I don't waste my (or your) time. It's that simple. If you want to over analyze, you can conclude that Line 6 takes out ad space on my site that is for financial profit, but like any magazine, there is (or should be) a brick wall between editorial and advertising. I operate on the same manner. Just because they advertise, doesn't buy my opinion and certainly doesn't buy my love. Love is earned. And, I'll never put on a show like others out there, for the sake of views. Hope that explains a bit more. Happy Holidays.

Totally agree I got a 60 watt for practice because my Mesa Mark V isn't exactly bedroom friendly and I've been having a blast with it.

I really dig what Line 6 has done with the control layout

cheers

Maybe if they were sent to a desert island with a 70s gorilla amp, no batteries included they would learn a thing or two! The native gorilla would even give them all the "battery" ever needed for their bashing of his namesake amp! Cheers!
Thank you Kurgle.
You're welcome!
All yall have so much hate. I dig this amp. Its great for experimenting with different tones.
yuuuup now I'm def getting the 120 for my studio!!!...thanks tone king!...you rock and I always try and follow your advice...or at least give it a try...iv always liked line 6 tones...
I concur Tone King!! Love you,Pixxy, and Phillip...you should do something together the three of you! Would be a blast!!!
+Don O I'd be down for that.
Love this AMP...Best Amp I have ever owned.....
the awesome part is a 5 watt tube amp would blow this out of the water,120 watts my ass.
circle of fat yeah, no.
I really enjoyed your video and found it well made and very helpful Thanks!
wow very polished video and the editing was clean/organized easy to follow your points/entertaining. keep rockin TK and I'll leave you with one of these: \m/
it really is a great modeling amp/....good vid Tone....I love mine....actually I'm on my second newer one....great for beginners as well as other guitarist....great for backstage....bedroom.....
I'm sure folks out there love & enjoy that amp. thanks ASM.
+ArielsSmartyPants and thank you for the thanks. I put a lot of time into the research. Glad someone recognizes that! Much appreciated!
Very cool and honest review. Blues On....
Stay open minded and I'll stay subscribed! It's nice to see someone giving it a fair shot.
Loved the outro music here. Good quick review. Really don't want another amp. Seems like they could make this in a floor pedal for even cheaper than the amp. No cab no speaker,,, seems like they could do it.
haha, thx GV. I hear you on the amp. I'm sure they can put it in a floor controller easily. Can't wait to see what's in store for NAMM.
Btw, Great job. I loved it. The ending too!
Played it a few times. I really think it sounds pretty bad.
I think the issue is TK has the line 6 spider 60. The SMG guys had the 30 I think and complained about the boxiness. There's a big difference between the small and large ones.
Yeap checked and SMG had the 30. Very different to the 60 due to the cab and speaker size.
no,its about ANY spider amp,not the boxiness just the absolute shitiness,
i had one for 1 hour once.it was a useless pile of nasty sounding ass.
i regrettably paid $20 for a 15 watt but rather than have it back in some
poor bastard guitar players hands i smashed it into a thousand little plastic pieces.
Since i cant find much about the subject can you use a mk1 shortboard with the spider v
Great review
So.. how does it sound like??
+Fırat Cem Gürbey coming soon. Thx.
does it emulate tube amps ?
The review just kicked ass..if it was inspired even 2% by spider V, I just got to have the amp.
It looks like on guitar centers website you have to buy the wireless thing and the floor pedal separate that's an extra 99$ 250$ bringing the total to $750 before taxes. That's kind of a downer but so far I really like the amp. It sounds good and has way more options than my mustang 3
I still think you need to upload a tone to cloud. I uploaded a dirty sound i like called, "clean dirty."
Is it a "in" thing to hate on this amp?...kinda stupid.....I happen to think that it's a good amp and I've only been playing like 3 decades
Line 6 requires us to vote at Ideascale so vote here:
line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Spider-V-Computer-Interface/859001-23508
My mom says this amp sounds the best! I say 'It's the Tone King mom, NOT THE AMP!!!'
I didn't think you were going to say fiddling. Lol
Is the cabinet ported?
MrJoeyBoombotz Yes, they are also supposed to have flat response.
What is the cost of the pedal board is it worth getting
If you're just like practicing at home and get the Android Phone and/or Computer Apps working, I'd say you don't need a Pedalboard but if you're playing live gigging or such then the Pedalboard would be really nice feature also get one or two of those matching Line 6 Transmitter dongles for getting around stage easy.
Thanks for getting back to me appreciate it I'll be just practicing at home with it thanks for good advice.
Umm, the PB would be awesome if you're going to use the Looper a lot.
this or vypyr pro?
1:16 - iphones now do not have headphone out...lol But a 1981 walkman and the 2018 Samsung Galaxy S9 do!
I swear this is why will and Scott block people. The king writes that this is a video for the top 5 features of this amp and he delivers and then some and now I'm ready all this crap?? Don't click the link or watch the video ya negatives bastards
Nonsense, disparaging those amps is a GLOBAL pastime shared by millions.
WELL SAID!
oh,wow look its the caps lock nazi,hi fucktard
MY app for this amp says I need an otg adaptor for my android device I've never heard of an otg adaptor??
The splash you hear will be the best tone it ever makes.
iPad connect ? Not good?
Dude you need to start a new channel "THE SALSA KING" hell yeah....love the music ..
...your dancing not bad..but A for effort. Sweet Sexy Salsa...yes. lol
YES! Thank you for making it to the end of the video. LOL. Glad someone got to enjoy the best part :-). Rock on my friend, ROCK ON!
For me personally, i just need a coupe of good sounds instead of 30 models. Save up, get a Fender Bassbreaker 15 and some pedals.
damm gotta pay the bills if your a line 6 nut !!
Nice video but you mentioned more than 5 lol
I personally feel that Vox is the winner in these modelling amps, and you somehow missed the reason why Vox is worst than this.
Vox AC15 with pedals...
+The Great Gazoo owned 2 AC15s. Sold them both. In my opinion, there is a huge difference between the 15 & 30. Just sayin ...
The Tone King Yeah a 30 would be nice but $$, and half the street would want to bash me with my guitar.
78 amps 2 sound ok at best
adamp2 😂😂
No I'm not gonna watch this. lol.
+Metal Head Hippie oh man. You're gonna miss the Cuban dance scene. :-(
Oh okay but only cuz it's you. Call me a sucker for a Cha Cha Cha.
Line 6 = \,,/
People ASKED me to compare, to there it is ...
it sinks lol
This is crazy.. The Mustang 4 V2 is not a live amp... ? Ya ok.......
Guess.I just watched a glorified payed ad here!
Anyone thoughts on where the Peavey Vypyr Pro 100 lies in this mix... Why no mention?
WoahBoomshakalaka the Peavey Vypyr is shit (I own one), but even that is 10 times better than a fucking Line 6 amp.
+WoahBoomshakalaka VYPYR is a solid amp. No complaints. Especially if you love the Peavey models included. Analog distortion, etc. it's solid.
+WaRLoKWYATT by the way - I respectfully disagree that the Vypyr is shit. It has some of the best distortion in a modeling amps. It's all analog. It also has great presets and killer footswitch options. Just my opinion of course. By the way Warlock - what do you like?
I own an AT-200 .. why is it shit? I own a mustang 4 v2 and Traynor YCV40WR.
+Thom Grogan I am trying to convince myself of all the lies I tell myself. I am sad you called me out now and going to go bury my head in a hole.
I think it's like TDK said in the review. Maybe you only like Marshalls. That's fine; probably the Code would be a better choice for you.
hi guys
the biggest problem with line 6 is people buy them, then they have buyers remorse because they genuinely suck.
THEN they feel the need to justify their new "waste of money" purchase by lying about it being good.it is not
great, not good or even o.k for that matter,it is dogshit amplified out of a speaker.do you like dogshit thrown
at you?buy a line sux if you do then.
When you do a review give an un biased review for a change , the line 6 spider v amp is not a good product at all, see SpectreSound for a truthful review of the amp and its quality. Just doing paid reviews does not do much for your integrity and being honest about a product is pretty good practice so don't be afraid of the vendors complaining to you.
lol. okay.
Hey, Bill... Just because you suck at guitar doesn't mean the amp sucks.
Thanks for a good time and a load of entertainment over the
last 2 years. but this now becomes completely untrustworthy (especially if you watch the Marschall Code review just before ;)).
