I've had a Spider V 240HC (with cab) for a few weeks, and I absolutely love it. It's so versatile that it feels like the limitations have been taken off my creativity. If I want a certain sound, I can get it through this amp. It's all kinds of fun to just play with it and combine settings to see what will happen.
I used a 150w spider II head and cabinet with a podxtlive from the age of 14 through to 25, im 27 now and finally gone the tube route with pedals etc....as the last 5-8 years I've been dreaming of that sort of equipment but as a teen first using that stuff it was mindblowing and the ease of access to getting ANY sound i needed was perfect for playing along to all sorts of my favourite albums...but did eventually grow bored and frustrated by the sheer poor tone as my ears craved more authenticity, loudness and clarity.
It’s awesome, I just tweak a little on full range mode in distortion and clean sound in my 240 combo, and sounds like having a mic 🎙 on front of my amp and the sound coming out thru a PA system covering the hole stage. Amazing amp. Yamaha, keep up the excellent work 👍🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️💦💦
just bought this head a few days ago. would have bought that cabinet but my back was out and I would have needed help carrying it up stairs to my apartment. But this works perfectly for my small space and those two 4 inch speakers are super loud by themselves.
I own a Spider V 240HC and I can't stop playing! I recommend this amp as a practice tool, street players or people who like to share quick videos on social. I use this amp for almost everything! It is my personal practice amp, my tv sound bar for movies, my audio system for playing music and backing tracks (and yes... it's also perfect for parties), It is also my audio interface using PC or Mobile and tons of more fun stuff. These series have a lot of options with a very affordable price. I was lucky because I got a Line 6 promotion and I got a free G10t wireless transmitter and also I got a license for Cubase Le 9 (A cool digital audio workstation)
I own one of these as well. I really like everything that it offers. my only gripe is the looper function. I wanted it to be a bit longer. I have yet to figure out how to use the free Stienberg Cubase software but maybe someday. Great price for all it has to offer. Go Line 6.
Does this thing automatically switch voltage from 110v to 240v with no modifications? I'm thinking about trading off a few amps for this if so. I need to be able to use it in the USA and abroad.
I randomly clicked on this video in 20 places and not once it did I what the map sounds like , WTF is the point of creating a video about a guitar amp if all you're going to do is talk?

Question for you. Can you start and stop the drum tracks with the footswitch or do you have to push the button on the amp?
Shootin' with Uncle Dan only from the front footswitch won’t do it
@@Subilon thanks brother
What do you think about the built-in speaker? I looking forward to buy one but without a cab, only for home use, do you think are good enough?

I cant believe they show these features as something you need in an amp that size. What you seek is tone.
I only have the V60 MK II and I love it. Especially the Wireless Relay Plug.
For loud, I have a pristine condition Line 6 AX 2 212 and love it more!
I have the Line6 Spider IV 75 Watt with a 1x12 Celestion Speaker..its a brilliant Amp..love it..
Angelo J Richetti I do too mate.Line6 gets way too much hate

I got the Cubase DAW with my Amplifi 75 and I'm still trying to figure it out as well.

Just got mine today
why cant i hear the head speakers when i have the matching line 6 cab hooked up correctly
This guy looks and sounds amazingly like
Actor Bobby Cannavale (Vinyl TV series).
Is IT possible to bypass The onboard speakers in any way? Only want Sound in The cab
I think that is what is supposed to do when connected to a cab. No need to worry.
There is a switch on the back of the head for that.
How is this amp for heavy metal tones, can someone answer?
Because it's loud
What is the code and model for the control pedal?

This ist the outstanding voice on one of the recent Dream Theater Recordings. :-)
All I could make out was annoying, fizzy, solid state noise. Hope it sounds better in person.
Alex Mason truthfully mate if u spend some time tweeking the sounds you should find a sound that you can use.
Seems like a lot there to have fuck up on you. I have a Spider IV half and it's glitched out on me a few times.
Dross también es guitarrista
