This has probably been mentioned before (considering that this is a mayor oversight that most people would notice) but you missed Lucky Punch, which happens to arguably be the most devastating signature item in the entire franchise! It is like the incredible Stick, but for a Pokemon that is already good! Here is my Chansey moveset from Smogon Gen 7 OU: Chansey @ Lucky Punch Adamant nature EVs: 212 Atk / 100 Def / 196 Spe Ability; Healer Tri Attack Last Resort HYPER BEAM (!!!!) Body Slam This set is really good. Yes, you lose out on the Eviolite buffs, but it is totally worth it. I beat my brother using this Chansey. The strategy is to use Body Slam and Tri Attack to status to opponent, and because one move is physical and the other is special, you can hit hard on both sides! And then when they least expect it, you can unless a DEVASTATING HYPER BEAM and blast their Pokemon to smithereens! And with the Lucky Punch a critical hit is almost guaranteed! I am not sure about Last Resort, but PS marks it as a good move for Chansey and PS is made my Smogon so who am I to question the pros? Just slap it on and use it, all Chansey other moves are garbage anyway. Also, there is this thing in Pokemon called STAB meaning "Super Top A-tier Buff" which gives great power and this Chansey gets it with ALL his moves! Just do not tell this to your friends because if you do they will complain! To round out this set is healer. In singles it has a chance to randomly change your Pokemon in a Pokegod like Pikablu. I have never seen it happen but my best friend has had it happen to him twice. Too bad that he deleted his save file with his Pokegods on it. The first time he got Pikablu and the second time he got Raikill, which is a Electric/Kill type Raichu which can instantly defeat any Pokemon. And yes, Kill is an actual type in the game. My friend says he deleted his save file because he did not like the Kill type.
A couple cool things I learned about Metal Powder when crafting my team for Infinite Fusion: unlike Quick Powder, Metal Powder does work when Ditto is transformed but only in gen 2. It also raises both defenses instead of just Defense. Pretty decent if only Ditto had better stats
The most frustrating thing about the Gen 8 signature items is you can't get them if you trade for the box legendaries through Home, and you can't buy them from the flea market that was supposed to solve that very issue.
"This is the Thick Club, it can be used by every Pokemon in the Cubone line." "Neat." "This is the Stick. It can be used by every Pokemon in the Farfetch'd line." "Awesome." "This is the Light Ball." "Ohhh, this can be used by every Pokemon in the Pikachu line? Or even by the Pikachu clones?" "NO! IT CAN ONLY BE USED BY PIKACHU! HOW DARE YOU EVEN SUGGEST THAT!"
Arceus plates able to boost other Pokemon is quite thematic ill say. He is the god of all thing and with the plates your pokemon are basically preaching to the enemy the power of Arceus.

Razor Claw and Razor Fang don't fall into this category, but they do serve a similar function as besides their battle effects they're the only way to evolve Sneasel and Gligar respectively.
The lucky punch for chancy line, and the Lax incense, and water incense that let Snorlax breed munch lax, maril/ azumaril breed azuril, i think there is one for wobafett to breed wynot though each of the incense effects can work on any Pokemon in battle, the breeding effect only works when held by specific pokemon

I personally think that the fire mask for ogerpon is the best, with the attack boost for tera, plus the most resistances of the 3, and the 2nd or 1st for most super effective against. Although the water mask is pretty good too.
I think they all have their uses. Fire is obviously a great sweeper, but the others aren't bad either. Grass has the speed and move pool to have a decent set. You can build it bulky and have it harass with follow me, Taunt, encore, or scary face. Water meanwhile is bulky, makes Urshifu's life miserable with follow me and water absorb, and can run a decent set overall. Rock is similar to water, but exchanges a good defensive typing for a good offensive spread with Rocky Cudgel.
It's important to note about Soul Dew that it is also an event only item. It's absolutely strong enough pre nerf to get banned for its powerlevel, but it was probably banned for being inaccessible.
Small technicality, changing judgments type is not dependend on multitype as if a pokemon holding a plate pulls it through metronome it will be the type of that plate
cool arceus facts you can also put a z-crystal as it's item and that will turn it into that type while also allowing BUGINIUM Z uhhh savage spinout? something like that.
The Stick is crazy in games with Affection as it raises crit. Also Zacian was the 2nd Pokemon banned to Anything Goes in Smogon, the Rusted Sword occupying an item slot doesn't stop that dog from being as broken as Mega-Rayquaza.
I winced a little when Moxie pronounced Arceus as "Ar-see-us" when literally seconds prior he said Sylvally's ability correctly when it's a clear reference to the legendary pokemon of the same name lol
I'll say I honestly LOVE me some Sirfetch'd. I remember using one in Sword and just thinking he was really neat. Admittedly the Speed problem is still an issue, though they've got enough ATK that if you can manage to hit something it's amazing.
Pokémon Cloud/Soil have a Pokémon called Glimmarine. It’s basically Genesect but a fish. It can hold a Scale to change the type of its signature Rainbow Beam. These scales also boost its Offenses and Defenses by 10%. They also introduced 2 100% accurate physical Rock moves. Rock Wheel and the Outrage clone Boulder Dash
Everyone talks about Ogerpon with the masks, Silvally with the memory disk, but no one talks about how Pikachu has two items that help it: Light Ball for damage, and Focus Sash to tank a hit
Special shoutout to the Legend Plate, the first thing that might not even be legal in AG (after Funbro) if it makes it to a regular game, Arceus's newest special item. Arceus starts as a Normal Type. His judgement changes type depending of the target, it will aim for the opponent's weaknesses every use (Double-weakness if possible) while changing Arceus's type every time before the attack. Depending of the weaknesses, it will choose a type in particular to optimize the Defense, example: Psychic is weak to Dark, Ghost and Bug, it will change to Dark because of it's immunity to Psychic. So Arceus has a 120 STAB move that's always super-effective, meaning the move has a base power of 360 or 720 if the opponent has a double-weakness and he has 120 in every stat. Arceus only needs one move to have an almost guaranteed OHKO on the whole Dex and an optimal defensive type if he manages to survive, plus 3 free move slots. If you thought Mega-Rayquaza, Crowned Zacian (Gen 8) and Arceus Extreme-Killer were busted...

@@kingwailord4143 yeah I got it confused with Mewtwo always having it equiped in pokemon Gold and Silver, even though he doesn't appear on those games
BG is not its signature item, every Pokémon can use it.
Hear me out, how about make a Thick Club hammer equivalent for Tinkaton line
Anything to make Tinkaton viable
Brother, we DO NOT need another Steel-Fairy infested Meta for god's sake. Sure, give it something, but not Huge Power: the item.
As much as I like Tinkaton the last thing it needs is a buff to its attack, Gigaton Hammer would rip through basically anything that isn't resisted
Yall sayin Tink doesn't need this when literally last week they dropped a tanky nuke of a bear that essentially has the same move. Fake Out and Hammer is all that she's got, she can get somethin elsee
@@CairoOmar39Increase the Atk stat to 85 if not 90?
Or have the item boost be 1.3x rather than the usual 1.5x?
@@cold-bloodedbeats4139and said move coming off of 135 Sp. Atk
This has probably been mentioned before (considering that this is a mayor oversight that most people would notice) but you missed Lucky Punch, which happens to arguably be the most devastating signature item in the entire franchise! It is like the incredible Stick, but for a Pokemon that is already good!
Here is my Chansey moveset from Smogon Gen 7 OU:
Chansey @ Lucky Punch
Adamant nature
EVs: 212 Atk / 100 Def / 196 Spe
Ability; Healer
Tri Attack
Last Resort
HYPER BEAM (!!!!)
Body Slam
This set is really good.
This post gave me cancer. I enthusiastically approve.
@@Sion-wn8te That's the joke
@@Sion-wn8tehis uncle works at game freak and will ban you and delete all your pokemons if you keep being disrespectful.
A couple cool things I learned about Metal Powder when crafting my team for Infinite Fusion: unlike Quick Powder, Metal Powder does work when Ditto is transformed but only in gen 2. It also raises both defenses instead of just Defense. Pretty decent if only Ditto had better stats
You forgot that the unlike the Plates, the Memories just change the type of Silvally and Multi Attack, and *nothing else*
That's what I said
@@MoxieBoostedno you didn’t, you forgot to say so because you was talking about how there’s little to no 100% Acc. Rock moves
@goGothitaLOL no i mean like, I didn't claim they did anything else
Dude I so god agree with you on the topic of PHYSICAL ROCK TYPE MOVES ACCURACY I mean a landslide of rock coming straight at ya can miss wtf
0:06 That's called a "Leek" these days, but...eh, old terminology is still valid.
As a lifelong Farfetch’d fan I pray to the stick every night before bed and polish my porcelain replica every week
I don't think I'll ever play competitive Pokemon, but watching your videos is still cool.
Something I silently wish is that Tinkaton gets an exclusive item similar to a thick club
The most frustrating thing about the Gen 8 signature items is you can't get them if you trade for the box legendaries through Home, and you can't buy them from the flea market that was supposed to solve that very issue.
"This is the Thick Club, it can be used by every Pokemon in the Cubone line."
"Neat."
"This is the Stick. It can be used by every Pokemon in the Farfetch'd line."
"Awesome."
"This is the Light Ball."
"Ohhh, this can be used by every Pokemon in the Pikachu line? Or even by the Pikachu clones?"
"NO! IT CAN ONLY BE USED BY PIKACHU! HOW DARE YOU EVEN SUGGEST THAT!"
zamazenta being bad legendary didnt age well
You did in deed forget one: chansey's lucky punch. Literally just the stick but for chansey.
Arceus plates able to boost other Pokemon is quite thematic ill say.
He is the god of all thing and with the plates your pokemon are basically preaching to the enemy the power of Arceus.
I love your videos! I wish you posted everyday even though you post almost every day since I listen to you at work often.
Or at least some longer videos
"The Stick".
lulz. Its not that serious. But it made me lol so hard.
Razor Claw and Razor Fang don't fall into this category, but they do serve a similar function as besides their battle effects they're the only way to evolve Sneasel and Gligar respectively.
The lucky punch for chancy line, and the Lax incense, and water incense that let Snorlax breed munch lax, maril/ azumaril breed azuril, i think there is one for wobafett to breed wynot though each of the incense effects can work on any Pokemon in battle, the breeding effect only works when held by specific pokemon
i actually have a strange love for clamperl, not least because its probably the most viable first stage pokemon in singles.
im not kidding, i have actually grabbed wins with this thing
Genesect's also usually not Smogon legal for more then 6 minutes before he goes straight to OUBL again
8:00 you forgot rock type Ivy Cudgel!
Only one of them breaks the game.
One thing everyone forgets to mention with dittos items, is that back in gen two metal powder DID actually still work after ditto transformed! Eviolite shuckle, anyone??
Hearing about Ogerpon's item for the first time makes it literally sound like some fan game item. That's freaking nuts how many mechanics/buffs are at play with that thing.
8:04
I’m still campaigning for all fossil Pokémon to get a unique 100% accurate physical rock move shared between them all. Call it Fossil Fang or Fossil Force or something idk
Still wish OG Marowak was a Ground/Ghost or Rock/Ghost. Probably wouldnt of helped, but hey its something.
Ghost Ground would have made marowak nuts in gen 2 since shadowball was physical back then.
Moxie Boosted not including Lucky Punch to farm comment engagement. I respect the hustle and will contribute to it.
Video idea: pokemon that don't use their higher offensive stat (like throat spray Kommo-o or fezandipiti)
So glad you popped up on my recommendations that one time
It's amazing how many subscribers and views you've gain in such a short amount of time but you deserve every one of them. You put a lot of effort and research into your videos and I'm glad I was able to to find your great channel and gain new knowledge with your detailed and informative videos.
no way bro called it the stick
I personally think that the fire mask for ogerpon is the best, with the attack boost for tera, plus the most resistances of the 3, and the 2nd or 1st for most super effective against. Although the water mask is pretty good too.
Yeah Fire Ogerpon is definitely the best as it does the most damage and just does even more if placed on a sun team
Literally the AsumsSaus of competitive pokemon
I think you forgot that ogerpon also gets the abilitiez sturdy, mold breaker and water absorb if it hasnt terad yet while wearing a mask
Thx dor the heart mate, I shall now re-enact the Temple of doom from indiana Jones
So THAT is what the point of the mask is!
It's important to note about Soul Dew that it is also an event only item. It's absolutely strong enough pre nerf to get banned for its powerlevel, but it was probably banned for being inaccessible.
The booster Energy should count i guess? I mean, it's the signature iteam of all paradox
Dont worry Moxie, they added a 100 BP 100% physical rock move :D
Small technicality, changing judgments type is not dependend on multitype as if a pokemon holding a plate pulls it through metronome it will be the type of that plate
cool arceus facts
you can also put a z-crystal as it's item and that will turn it into that type while also allowing BUGINIUM Z uhhh savage spinout? something like that.
"give em the stick!!!" "Dont give em the stick!!!" (Iykyk)
Do you know my dad?
I forgot about the mirrors for Sableye. Crazy they could TRIPLE their respective stats!!
[😊 got ‘em]
I see 170 atck zacian with permantent + 1 attack really made something to you
i had a dream a year ago where i watched a video where someone talked about clampearl like you did in this video. pretty cool
~I didnt feel like it~ is my mood from now on lol
I fuck with you getting the order for "respectively" correct.
The Stick is crazy in games with Affection as it raises crit.
Also Zacian was the 2nd Pokemon banned to Anything Goes in Smogon, the Rusted Sword occupying an item slot doesn't stop that dog from being as broken as Mega-Rayquaza.
You forgot the gen 9 box art legendaries signature item: The sandwich
- The stick
- Dear God...
- There's more
- NO!
You missed Chansey's Lucky Punch, also you maybe could've considered Booster Energy as a Signature Item for the Paradox Pokémon
0:55 Understandable, since they're like, their own talk haha
My man's disrespected the Lucky Punch. Left my man out.
The stick is the ultimate weapon.
I winced a little when Moxie pronounced Arceus as "Ar-see-us" when literally seconds prior he said Sylvally's ability correctly when it's a clear reference to the legendary pokemon of the same name lol
Headphones that protect the holder from sound moves is a cool idea ! 🎧
Moxie Boosted: "RKS"
Also Moxie Boosted 5 seconds later: "ar-zsea-us" 😭😭😭
Loved the doofenshmirtz reference
Silvally is basically "we have Arceus at home"
just realized I wasnt subscribed so I fixed that thank you again for another video Mister Moxie Boosted
Every mega stone is technically a signature item.
0:40 when he said subscribe the subscribe button glowed
Nothing was funnier than using Stick Sirfetch'd on Smogon's Anything Goes.
Soul Dew was so broken its effects were disabled in the gen 3 and 4 battle facilities. Even GF knew what a monstrosity they were.
On the accurate rock moves topic, you didnt put it there but I guess ivy cudgel rock counts too?
Arceus should be able to hold all these items
