Mine doesn’t work 😢 it gives off a burnt smell each time i turn it on
Honestly now that mine is a little older it’s doing the same thing, I thought maybe I should clean it but I’m not sure 🥺

Mine did same. I returned it and got a new one which Is fine

I suck at using this blow dryer
Part your hair in smaller sections and rotate the barrel/dryer. The smaller the sections, the better the blow out will be.
But has it given you heat damage?
Every heat implement can give you damage to some extent but as long as you use heat protectant and maintain the integrity of your hair you should be fine. A lot of people don’t focus on the health of the hair so they tend to get more heat damage.
