I’m a blow dryer girl and recently I’ve been thinking about getting a drying brush because it’s supposed to be easier and faster. I’m specifically lost between these two, you can’t imagine how helpful your video was. Thank you SO MUCH ❤
@@alltheladies Definitely the revlon. I was skeptical about Remington’s being detachable anyways, I like me a solid piece. Also, you can never go wrong with volume, so that’s a plus for revlon.
I have to add two points to this review: first I detach the head and I dry the roots with the air coming out of the body. Then I attach the brush and finish the work. PLUS it's much easier to clean the brush when it's detachable.
I had the Remington and was getting so hot and would stop . I had to ask Amazon to change it for me 3 TIMES 😳until I decided to ask for a refund. Now I have the Revlon and is fab…🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hi, thanks for that review. I bought the Revlon Onestep 12 months ago and used it every other day to dry and style my hair. I bought the short to mid length version and loved it. I’d agree the weight takes a little getting used to. This week I’ve found the handle was getting much hotter than usual and it had lost a bit of power. I am so reliant on the Onestep I was straight onto to Amazon and ordered another one. Even though only 12 months usage is bit disappointing I wouldn’t do without it and I’m reluctant to back to a regular hairdryer.
Mmm 12 months isn’t acceptable! Mine hasnt faultered as yet and it’s 2.5 years old…might be worth contacting Revlon and seeing if it’s within the 12 month warranty 🙏🏼🥹
Hello, thank you for this informative review! It was very helpful and I can tell that you are very honest in your words, thank you for that too! There is a newer version of this Revlon brush, it is with a bit smaller brush, also it have added "medium" speed, and the brush is detachable from the body because there are more tools for the new model. I am curious to know your opinion of it! So, if they send it to you or if you buy it by yourself, I hope you will make a comparison between this model and the new one from Revlon 🤗 I wish you a great new 2024 year, Emily! 💜

Thank you, Emily! Which Revlon One Step are you using, though? On amazon I see both medium-to-long and short-to-medium versions of it. My hair is slightly longer than yours, so I wonder which version would be more practical. Thanks!
I saw some reviews that the Revlon volumizer would damage hair very badly as it is very hot. Some people had their hair ruined. Is this right ? What do you think ?
Honestly….its done the complete opposite! I use it EVERY time I dry and style my hair and it’s the best it’s ever been so I’m not sure what these negative reviews are😭
I have the Remington AS8901 HYDRAluxe 1200W Volumising Air Styler - and it sets of my smoke alarm, plus - it gets so hot it overheats and stops. Is this normal?
What?? Thats scary! That’s most likely to do with faulty electrical outlets or worn out sockets 🥹 Would be worth getting your sockets checked I would say🙏🏼 good luck 💞
No not at all…so many people ask me this but I don’t see how it can be it’s like a big brush with warm air 😍…I dont use the hottest setting maybe that’s the difference! I wouldn’t be without it☺️
Heloo,I want to ask, does revlon work well on long hair and will it make nice, volume hair? And also is it complicated to work with it when i'm not so good at these things?:)😂❤
Hey Lorraine...its a hairdryer and styler in one so it does dry quickly. I always towel dry the hair first to get rid of the drips!! Id highly recommend xxx
Well I have Revlon and Remington, both of them leave my hair dry and freezy looking. I even followed the instructions on how to use them very thoroughly to no avail. Sorry, but to me...none of them are good. I threw them both to the garbage.
Oh nooooo! I absolutely love my revlon how strange we all have different experiences maybe it’s about hair texture. My hair is always damp when I style with my revlon and it works a treat….sorry you didn’t have the same experience 🥹

The Revlon One Step side looks shinier and smoother.
Wouldn’t be without my Revlon One Step. Having fine hair I need lots of volume. Great video. Thank you. X
You’re welcome 😊

Thanks Emily great review. I have the one step love it and I am a hairdresser
You're so welcome! Oh wow so it must be good🥰💞👍🏼
Being a hairdresser myself I’m very lazy when it comes to drying my own hair. Both products look good.😀👍.
Thank you reviewing the two models for us good to know your options haven’t yet bit the bullet and bought one but now it’s on my wish list 📝x
Liked this video, thanks so much for reviewing both these items , going to get myself one of the Revlon One step xx
Glad it was helpful! Let me know how you get on with the Revlon One Step👍🏼💞
I too love my Revlon One, bought on your recommendation a few years ago x

Good review I’ll be putting them on my birthday list 😊
Do it!! At the top!!😜
@@alltheladieswell I did put them on my birthday list and I got the Revlon, it’s brilliant 🤩👏🏼👏🏼 thank you for the review 😊
since i’m boycotting revlon i came here to see if the remington hair brush is kinda of a dupe.
Is Revlon on the boycott list?

Thanks for this so helpful, as an Aussie I had to laugh when you said it is 29 degrees outside and I am drying my hair 😂
What products do you use for prepping your hair? Its gorgeous xx
Can't beat big round brush and a hairdryer for me x
That’s exactly what I thought before I inadvertently tried my mums Revlon One step 3 years ago! 🥰

Hot air brushes are meant to be far less damaging than other products such as tongs etc. That's what I've read, anyway🤷🏼♀️
New to your channel and really enjoying it. I have the Revlon agree it’s a game changer. I have fine thin (menopausal) hair and it gives good volume x
Thanks for subbing!:-) and yes isnt it amazing...really changed my hair routine for the better! Havent looked back tbh! x

Revlon такой же мощности 1200вт?
El de revlon ya al tener un año de uso, no funciona de la misma manera, no lo recomiendo
4.44 when she starts drying her hair.
Thankyou 🤪
Is there a difference in weight between the two?
I would say the Remington is slightly lighter 👍🏼
