@@roenie3010 it doesn't matter that they are dried. They will eventually catch fire. Just don't leave these types of candles unattended and don't let them burn down too low to where the wax burns off the dried flowers completely as they will definitely catch fire.. do that and you'll be fine. 👍
Hi can I try lavender candles with lavender oil and vanilla oil? How does that smell? If I make that how much essential oil will that be in a big jar around 250 ml?
I make candles too feel free to visit my channel for some tips! If your lavender is browning typically that means the wax is too hot. You want it cooled down to about 130-140 degrees Fahrenheit. You can also try spritzing some isopropyl alcohol on the lavender to help keep it’s color! Obviously wait a minute before lightning you candle after as isopropyl is flammable!
Hi! I plan to try this or with some dried flowers. Just worried as the candle burns, what happens to the lavender twigs inside or incase I put dried flowers? Do they burn and create a hazard or is it safe?
I would think the lavender would catch fire some. It would depend on the size of the jar too. If you use a wider jar, the lavender or other dried flowers are farther away from the flame. I have a different way I’d make these but not in a jar. Look up chunk candles and you can adapt the method.
thanks for sharing this vid, love jar decorations/ if you dont mind me asking what type wax did you use / and was also wondering what size wick and type/ was it eco 10/ cd 8 or htp 104
does the video have sound? it plays without sound on my laptop... is it safe to add dried flowers for the candles which are used for burning? (cute candle otherwise!)
Want to find out does the dried lavender burn because I’ve tried some with dried flowers and they burned and turned the glass black. Is there specific dried flowers you recommend for candle making that won’t cause burned flowers
Thanks for sharing your video. I noticed that you used wax to hold your wick in place, when the wax is low, does the wax on the wick melt and make the wick float? These candles you made a pretty, thanx for ideas. For insurance reasons, can you burn candles with the outside of jar decorations on?
So these lavender leafs do catch on fire so do not leave it un unattended gives a great smell so peaceful. Thank u for video
Could you use a little hot glue to keep in place? Then pour?
Great video with beautiful candles 🕯
do they catch fire
Wow!!! so amazing
These are gorgeous! How do you keep the lavender from catching fire inside the jar - especially as the candle burns toward the middle?
They are dried

Hi. Do dried lavenders burn with fire? Is that why you said never leave it unattended? is it as dangerous as a regular candle or more?
I wouldn't recommend it. It leaves some dark spots. It's better to blend the dried lavender
All candles say "NEVER LEAVE UNATTENDED"
Quick and easy, by any chance did the lavender start to change color over time from the heat

Maybe blend the dried lavender

When you say "blend," do you mean "mix the lavender leaves with the wax?
Amazing work ❤️
