Hi bramble berry, I watched ur videos and tried to make beeswax candles in glass jar. I have faced an issue. After making jar candle, I leaved it to on home Temp for drying. After some time, wax has been cracked in side jar. Am not mixed any substance, oil or essential oil. How to avoid this? And one more question is about tunnelling. How to avoid this also?
Waiting ur reply. Thanks from India.

This is awesome. I bought my first beeswax candle last year because I had done some research about the benefits and I love being able to burn it in the house during the winter with my windows closed. I have asthma and it's nice not having to worry about smoke, soot or irritation to my airways. Now I want to start making my own beeswax candles and I am thrilled I found a long time expert, plus I love everything connected to Bramble Berry.

I just bought 6 candle sconces, wrought iron, from 5 seperate garage sales, and 30 candle holders to fill, they look soooo naked. So i bought 4, 5 pound bricks of beeswax from our local growers market with no idea how to make candles. Just cruising through youtube i came across this video, and low and behold it's my favorite candle company!!! I have purchased your candles several times from whole foods, and i am never unsatisfied with your product!!! I think that it is wonderful that you are sharing this information with beginners. Im now ready to get the rest of the supplies i need to make candles for my sconces!! Thank you so much for providing this extremely informative video!

Second comment - I watched this and have been making my own beeswax candles as part of a new business project - it's been so much fun ordering different scents and thinking about containers and labels. I bought a candlemaking kit from Amazon and use some of the things in it, but have purchased additional beeswax from sellers online. What an amazing scent, and making the candles is very enjoyable. I'm so excited to share them with friends and family, and I want to thank you again Flower, for this tutorial. Peace be with you :)

Really excellent video! The only two things I would've liked to understand further are which wicks to choose (as others have mentioned), how to know which glass containers are heat-safe (like if thrifting them for example), how much essential oil to use, and how to use the double-boiler again (as opposed to the creme brulee torch for those who don't have one). Thanks a lot! :)

Watched this last night on mute with subtitles on for about half of the video, and still learned a ton. Today I finally felt confident enough to take the quart bag full of beeswax shards that I collected in our previous, over air-conditioned apartment (the wax was always getting blown off to the side by the vent), and make two little mason jar candles for Advent. It was so easy and not nearly as messy as expected, and it took less than an hour!!!

We primarily use HTP wicks. I don't specify because beeswax is a natural product and depending on where it is sourced from, they all burn differently! We do so much testing. If I had to guess at a wick I would start with HTP 73 for votives, HTP 83 for anything around 2" and HTP 93 or 104 for anything 2.5" . Hope this helps, I know it is frustrating!

Well, I bought all the supplies and equipment plus a 5 lb block of bees wax ,wait for it, 23 years ago. 😂. I put them in a bag in the garage and never touched them. Don't know why. I think it's time to make some candles now 😂. Back then there was no UA-cam to learn.

It would have been nice to show what kind of wick and what size of wick was burning in the size of glasses shown in the first five minutes - both the ones burning too hot and the ones burning just right.

When buying candles and lighting them I am very well known for cutting down the wax and sometimes adding a wick and burning the fuel down😊
