This dude looks like the all American guy and you would never expect him to be making candles. I love it😂
C? B careful! 👍Could you watch my channel?🙈🙈
I had show my husband who he is!! Lol
My husband is military. Served 2 tours in Iraq. Now is a reserve in the army national guard. I make candles and follow this guy! Hes awesome. And no, youd never expect it from him. My husband was " wowed" by this man!!
This is just superb, I have been researching "how to make smokeless candles" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Cenadoelyn Candle Contemplation - (search on google ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my mate got cool results with it.
He looks like a MARINE--- or at least some Branch of former military or current .
Candle making is theraputic and enjoyable. Why wouldn't a guy make them?
I have never seen a guy make candles!!! I love it
lol Thanks! There are a few of us out there :)
Am yours biggest fan sir.. from Sri Lanka
😂 I'm one of the many few I subbed to his channel just because of that
Is it feminine for a straight guy to sew or make candles? Or are you stereotyping?
I think both are for everybody.
I felt emasculated engaging in my forced work (real job) craft project. Amen for this video. Its like one of my Army instructors teaching candle making. Thank you for your service.
Super clever! I did something similar for my coffee candles, I just poured the darker color on top and heat gun'd around the sides to make it melt down like a latte- but I never thought of poking holes on the side to create more solid color for a marbling effect! That's awesome! I'll have to try it soon!
I found videos that taught step-by-step how to make candles. I’m going to make it myself, add an essential oil & color of my choosing & then do what Tim does in this video. 😁😁😁😁 It’ll be fun.
Ellie Esther 👍Could you watch my channel?🙈🙈
Never thought I'd see Hank Hill make candles
Dude, you're a genius. My fiance and I make candles and the jars we use have a narrow mouth, but I have an idea how to replicate this process with those jars, but your channel has been extremely informative!
Can I just say that seeing what looks to b,e an active marine making this video, is amazing!
I just started making candles!!! These are absolutely beautiful!!
Thank you for sharing with us all this beautiful arrangement!
I loved these, especially the red white and blue one.
You are a genius! Lol..I have been struggling to marble candles, this method gives you some control..thank you!
They turned out so pretty, I could Never bring myself to burn them 🚫🙅🏿♀️❣️‼️
I’m so glad I found this video ❤
This is like the most common way to do Marble candle wax and I absolutely love it.
It is the wrong way to do it but it is the most common way. Which really makes my candle stand out among these. 🤣
Chuck Liddell does home craft. My dream crossover.
Thank you for your straight forward explanations it's so much easier to understand
So beautiful.. Respect man
Thank you very much, this video of you working is so informative and inspiring! I much love that we don't aim to control the appearance of the end result in detail, instead familiarize ourselves with the tendencies of these materials and enjoy how they turn out in the end!!
As a hobbyist I am just starting out and you made this look so effortless, thank you so much! New sub here!
I tried this today! It came out pretty good for my first try, and It was so much fun!! Definitely doing this again
Thank You :)
Fantastic idea ❤
Love watching all your ideas....

Beautiful Candles!!
Thanks.. Great Job🙌
That’s Awesome!
Wow. Very cool, interesting, and unique.
Thank you very much
Awesome. Do you let the candles cure fully (up to a week) prior to applying the color? Or can you do this after a day of curing?
Very cool. I like your camo apron!
Lol Thanks :)
Amazing!
Looks like a marine that got bored and started making candles
Winner of a video, I have been researching "instructions for making soy candles" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Cenadoelyn Candle Contemplation - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my brother in law got cool success with it.
Thank you so much for this video!
Can you use crayons for the dye in the sides of the candles?
wow they look amazing .
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this video. Very inspiring! They look fantastic.
U lost me with the NASA SHIRT 😂😂 ok UA, NIKE, Hanes not NASA😂😂 OK.
BUT this is awesome for candles i do drop pouring instead which is lovely. Ur idea is also great. Thank you so much. Colors look great...
Tim is awesome. I know u have stories for us Tim. Im ready to laugh.
Trying tomorrow
Love this
This was awesome
Very good teacher😍
Question, can you use food coloring as a die?
Essas velas ficaram lindas demais, já quero tentar! 🥰
This is a smart idea 💡😊. Thanks for sharing ☺️❤️❤️
Should I allow my candle to cure first before doing this or can I do it the day I make them?
Nice job! Could you get this same effect if you place the whole candle in the microwave?
Tim which wax did you use
hi this is a brilliant I dear look fab can you put glitter in the holes as well ty for reading merry Christmas xx
I have a question. Does this affect the performance of your candle as far as hot scent throw is concerned?
I am interested in the anwser also
I feel like it would as I have learned that reheating your container candles and then lighting the wicks doesn’t always go well for me. Definitely an interesting look tho
I love this 🤩
I am new to making candles... Can you use a blow dryer instead of a heat gun? Not sure if somebody already asked
It will only "sort of" work. With a hair dryer it will take 10-times as long, and unless you have a smaller hair dryer, or one with a directional nozzle attachment, the air stream will be to big and will blow your wax around too much. Heat guns are fairly inexpensive, and can be found on Amazon or your local hardware store for $10-$15
Great video. Where did you buy the candle containers?
Are those the Libby jars or are those the status jars
Beautiful! Subbing!
New subscriber 👋Great content. I also use this technique, it's very effective. Keep up the good work👍
really like your videos, keep them coming. Question.....i have frost, lots of frost on m y candles, can this wax be remelted and pored at a lower temp? i really don’t know what i’m doing wrong. thanks for your help
Good stuff Tim, Thank you!
Hi How do you clean the top of the candle where there are reminiscence of the liquid dye without it looking messy ?
Thank you tam can you do gel candles?
Is the dye specifically for candles?
Have you ever broke the glass from too much heat?
Great idea thank you for sharing.
Question... Would this work with scented candles or would that burn the scent away??
I would think, it's only warming the sides, there should b plenty of fragrance left after heating
@Timber Ridge Gifts I have been marbling my candles and the color is staining the top of my candle wax, do you top the off with the same scented wax after candle is solid again?
Ty
What if I put it in the oven instead? Because I don’t have a heat gun. Will it workv
What would happen if you took a beeter from a mixer, cut off the very bottom so you just had the tines, dip them in tour liquid color, and do a light swirl in your candle as soon as you finish pouring. Do you think that would work?
Sure
wow, I love this, can't wait to try this.
Karrie Blum 😄👍
Beautiful! Love it!
Thanks for the video! These look awesome!
Best method for making candles: HootCandle.club
I highly recommend this guide.
What wax did you use?
Almost 4th July (in May) 🇺🇸
What a great idea. Thanks for sharing
Hi Tim!
I love your video, do know if we can do this to our candles with alcohol ink?
Ahh iam so glad ive found you! Yours videos are soo educative thank you so much!
Now this is a cool tutorial and something to do with all this dye I have kicking around! Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Right on love it
Thank You :)
Where do you buy those type of candle jars?
I love your tutorials!
Nice video! Can I use a blow dryer instead? Like how hot does a heat gun get that a blow dryer can't suffice for this? *serious question*
Blow dryers blow out hot air as opposed to the heat of the heat gun. Using a blow dryer could cause the wax to fly everywhere.
Awesome!!!!!
👍Could you watch my channel?🙈🙈
Which wax are you using because you don't seem to have any frosting
Nice video. Can I use food colouring? Does it have to be a special candle dye?
Candle dye
I tried this method with dye block but my block didn’t melt all the way. How can I fix it? I used the heat gun and they’re still lumps in it. Can you give tips please?
Wonderful!!! Gratitude
Can you use a blow dryer?
Love your teaching!! You rock
Wondering if you can use mica colors?
Great video. What type of dye did you use?
Can you pre-melt the candle color chips and use a dropper to put the color into the holes for a better result?
By the way, thanks for all of the tips and help! I am a soap, bath and body product maker by trade and am just trying to add some small scented candles to add to my products for gift sets.
It might work for a minute, but it will dry and clog the dropper and cause more trouble than it is worth. You might be able to melt it and then use the same apparatus that you poke the holes with to apply the melted dye chips.
I was wondering the same thing, except I was thinking what if you added the melted color block to a carrier oil, would that do the trick?
Do you add a fragrance to this marbled candle ??
Can we do this to goddess candles
Where can I purchase the wooden base you use
Love the video. How long do you let the base candle cure before you do the swirl technique?
