      This is just superb, I have been researching "how to make smokeless candles" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Cenadoelyn Candle Contemplation - (search on google ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my mate got cool results with it.

    Super clever! I did something similar for my coffee candles, I just poured the darker color on top and heat gun'd around the sides to make it melt down like a latte- but I never thought of poking holes on the side to create more solid color for a marbling effect! That's awesome! I'll have to try it soon!

      And the table spinner, don’t actually remember where I got it... probably from The Kitchen Collection. Anywhere they sell baking supplies really.

    • @TimberRidgeGifts
      @TimberRidgeGifts  6 років тому +2

      +cuattgirl you’ll need a dye specifically formulated for use in candles. You can buy it in liquid or block form, and powder form from a few select places. The day I used in this video was liquid candle dye from www.lonestarcandlesupply.com

    Can you pre-melt the candle color chips and use a dropper to put the color into the holes for a better result?
    By the way, thanks for all of the tips and help! I am a soap, bath and body product maker by trade and am just trying to add some small scented candles to add to my products for gift sets.

    • @TimberRidgeGifts
      @TimberRidgeGifts  5 років тому

      It might work for a minute, but it will dry and clog the dropper and cause more trouble than it is worth. You might be able to melt it and then use the same apparatus that you poke the holes with to apply the melted dye chips.
