I gained fifty and lost all fifty to have my son. Losing the weight took 14 months. Putting it on took 10. I never want to gain that much when I get pregnant again. It was HELL and too much for my body.

Yes, working out ups our testosterone, which lowers our cortisol! That’s why you feel so great when you workout. And probably like you accomplished something, which is also what I feel like!

Loved this video! Could you list the products you mention in this video on your website? I.e tuna, matcha etc. I’d like to try everything you mentioned!

We can get Diastasis Recti if we don’t rebuild from our deep inner core, like literally old lady physical therapy-I had several DR ab separation after twins and singleton pregnancies. And I was super strong, ripped/fit before pregnancy. And actually, most mammas have/get Diastasis and still have it, which is why the belly still pooches out. But we don’t need surgery to fix it.

Thank you, thank you so much for this. Appreciate you being so detailed.
for your matcha - do you drink it with water or milk? Do you eat the tuna on its own, or with some type of crackers, etc? Lastly, (sorry) which magnesium product do you drink in the evenings?

Did your postpartum weightloss and diet regime affect your milk supply in any way if you chose to breastfeed your baby?

As long as you’re staying hydrated (like at least your body weight in ounces but even a gallon of water/day (use electrolytes in some of that)) and not don’t go from 2100 to 1200 calories/day but going from 2100 to 1800-1900 you’ll be fine. Lots of fats & proteins.

I'm confused about the total amount of weight lost. Are you saying AFTER birth, you had 50 pounds to lose? Or from your highest pregnancy weight that's what you lost? For example... with my second, my hardest postpartum recovery (third was easier!) I got up to 165lbs from my normal 140, after birth I weighed 152......and I stayed 152 until about 5 months postpartum and once I was finally back at 140 (I'm 5'7 btw) I got pregnant again! So... I'd count that postpartum weight loss as 12 pounds, not 25 pounds. You can't count the baby, the placenta, amniotic fluid, extra blood volume and fluids etc that are "lost" anyways during birth. Can you clarify? Because it does Not look like you were anywhere near 180 pounds right after birth, assuming you're 130ish right now?

In your opinion does breastfeeding cause u to keep weight gain? I’m still breastfeeding at 3 years. And I just can’t lose this last twenty pounds. And my body is holding onto weight. especially in my midsection. let me know!!

yes! I breastfed for almost three years and once I stopped the weight came off easier AND I my abs got firmer (even though I was doing core exercises for close to a year prior to that). your hormones are still whacked until several months, even a year after weaning your toddler.

I don’t want to know my weight rn at 28 weeks.
I walk 1-2 miles/day, exercise for 45-60 mins 4x/week and then hike or rock climb 1 day a week…. I eat high protein, moderate carb, and never eat after 7pm… but I’ve gained a lot of weight. At least 3lbs in my boobs, 5lbs of water weight, 1lb from blood supply, 10lbs from the baby/placenta & amniotic fluid. And I’m guessing 12-15lbs of fat.
I’m only 5’2” and haven’t been able to put a leg into my pre-baby jeans since 10 weeks pregnant.
I’m so excited for my baby but I feel so out of control with this weight gain and NO SUPPORT FROM ANYONE! people freaking want you to get fat when you’re pregnant it’s annoying.

Think about it like: it’s exactly like what’s inside a taco. Ground beef, same thing. My two year old niece is picky, and when we do tacos, all she wants is the ground beef in a bowl, with a tiny bit of salt & a little bit of cold shredded cheese mixed in lol. She loves it.🤷🏻‍♀️
