I was thinking the opposite, lauryns skin doesn’t look that great, especially her forehead.maybe it’s filler or Botox injections making her skin look bumpy
Just like this guest I have washed my face morning and night for the last 54 years (I am 67 and started at 13) and have very good clear skin (I have started ‘slugging’ the last couple of years to keep my skin from drying out from the overhead fan). I have only had one facial ever as don’t like the pulling and tugging. Tried many many products over the years but really just the basics are needed (use a gentle unscented cleanser, Cerave is good👍).
I have personally seen and had a consultation with Staci and she truly is a wealth of knowledge. She is going to transform your skincare routine if you are able to get a consultation with her!!! She changed mine and I’m never looking back!
In lieu of bottle water, just use thermal water to mist on your face. It’s canned and same effect. I have hard water too and I love the cooling effect of misting Avène Eau Thermale especially post facial laser or treatment.
This just came up on my feed so I watched. To me if you have been doing all the things since in your mid to late 20’s yet you felt the need to get a face lift at 50 then something isn’t right. I’m 52 and started my skincare journey in my late 30’s and I get mistaken to be in my late 30’s early 40’s all the time and I took was a sun worshipper in my teen and 20’s.
I’ve been taking care of my skin forever, probably since the age of 13. My skin texture is still nice, however, at almost 58, menopause has given me rosacea on my cheeks and gravity has made my chin/neck area not so cute. 😢
I’m going to be 60 in January- when she said she laid on a silver blanket in the sun I chocked ! Me too! 😂 I LIVE AND DIE by skincare routines! I’m always complimented on my skin!
Yes must have clean skin before putting on skincare! I use the vibrating facial cleanser I forget what it’s called but it really helps get rid of allll the makeup. To remove makeup I use youth to the people cleansing balm, to emulsify , then naturium gelee cleanser with the vibrating facial cleanser. Then I use micellar water from Garnier to clean up the eye makeup!
Omg -- such terrible advice. Will totally strip your natural microbiome. Get some sun, don't burn, get rid of seed oils and ultra processed foods, use tallow on your skin, stop spending money to look like a over filled oil slick and get a life!
Retinol gives u collagen boost doesn’t make ur skin thinner u just don’t want to u the store bought ones. Retinols are bad for ur skin. For sure. So that’s not a lie. Retin A and tret are good
It's completely false and scientifically proven that retinol does NOT thin the skin. After she said that it thinned the skin I questioned everything she said🤔🤔🤔
@@lizkel Hi! I’m a licensed Esthetician and I just wanted to let you know that there is a difference between peeling and the thinning skin. What you and others have experienced from retinol is peeling NOT thinning. Peeling refers to the shedding of the outermost layer of skin cells, which is the flakiness or dryness. This process can occur with retinol use, contributing to skin renewal. Thinning, on the other hand, implies a reduction in the overall thickness of the skin layers, which isn't a characteristic effect of retinol. In fact, retinol stimulates collagen production, promoting a healthier and thicker skin structure over time.
Lauryn’s face is her esthetician’s best billboard.

@@lolamar6064 your a little bum, eww go away low life ..that's why your man dont want you
@@lolamar6064she may not be PERFECT but im sorry u are insane she looks fabulous u gotta be kidding😂😂😂
Awsome episode!
Sooo much great information, I’m an esthetician & I definitely learned some great tips.
Love listening! However, I though tret thinning skin was debunked. Theoretically, once you get used to it, your skin starts making more collagen.
I listened to the podcast on Spotify first, then HAD to come watch on UA-cam. This is one of the best episodes. So fun. So informative.

Love her personality/authenticity/boldness! Wise, empowered, and gorgeous woman!

I only use retinol in the winter. I do my peels in the winter as well. I do use a vitamin C in my morning routine:) love this podcast.
Awesome esthetician. Love her. I’ve been an esthetician 24 years. ❤
Love the approach and the info! Very informative, thanks🌟🔥

Loved, loved this episode! Is it possible to get a list of the products that Staci uses and suggests?
retinol doesn’t thin the skin😭
@annarose1148
Omg! I just tuned in...but is she saying the retinoids

Where can we find the blog post with all product recommendations & fire cider recipe 😭 ?
Yes!!!
Yes, this! Mentioned there would be a blog with all the details from this show, but I cannot find.
I would love to know the wide brimmed hat Staci recommends. Great show
What are the products she says she uses?
Awesome episode! So enjoyed it. Fellow Esthi. Finishing my licensing. We need spanx in skincare lol.
Doesn't Lauren use fillers it looks like it.
Such a good podcast! Much needed❤️
What’s the “Berkin” electric machine she mentioned?
which green tea from Pique does she use for the green tea latte?? that sounds delicious
She said she drinks the Matcha green tea from Pique

It does thin the skin, this is obvious from personal experience from myself and ppl i know

Yes people get this confused all the time. Retinoids thicken the dermis and thin the epidermis. The overall skin doesn’t thin.
My sentiments exactly.
How do we get a facial from her? Or if you live in another state, can she help you find a regimen?
Christie I had profound done and melted my fat on my face is there something you'd suggest to correct it?
Time stamps please 🙏
Who did your face lift
A doc in SF. They say in the show.
What is the name of the mitt she uses? Moss?
i have dermatitis what is the microcurrent you said to use?
“Get it together Lauren, I mean Christ!” 😂😂😂
what is the micro current machine she recommends and uses?
Yes what is the machine she is talking about
skinbetter science products are the GOAT!
Oh my goodness! I thought that was Caitlin Jenner 😮😮😮
Intense pulsed Light****
Great info, but women worry too much about aging. And so many end up looking weird.
Water alone doesn’t hydrate you, you need electrolytes in it to hydrate.
Or at least sea salt
Before she said her age, I bet she is 60. So, she doesn't get magic...
Yes, but very well maintained which is attractive.
So she’s an esthetician? Or is she more??
She says “people talk and nothing moves” while she’s talking all this time and nothing moves at all🤭
Lol she thinks sweat “builds up bacteria”? Your body is secreting bacteria? GTFO with the lack of knowledge. Terrible advice
the guest is beautiful but, I don't care the look of work ..if that is what I am seeing
