This has helped me slim down recently and feel so much better! COCONUT CILANTRO LIME BONE BROTH
6 oz hot water
1 packet Dr.KellyAnn's Bone Broth Homestyle flavor
2 tablespoons unsweetened coconut milk
1 teaspoon lime juice, or a squeeze of fresh lime juice
handful of cilantro
pinch of salt

I made this oatmeal for dinner tonight. I was having a weird craving for oat meal and didn’t want my usual recipe with mixed seeds and coconut, but I remembered seeing this video a while ago. Cauliflower oatmeal just sounds wrong, but oh my goodness, it was delicious. It was like eating the real thing. I forgot to add the oil, it didn’t mention it in the recipe instructions but I guess it goes in with the add ins. I also added 2 drops of oatmeal cookie flavoring and 2 spoonfuls of Allulose and decided to omit the cinnamon and finish it off with a drizzle of syrup. I was blown away with this recipe. I’m not sure what inspired you to put these ingredients together to create oatmeal, but I am so glad you did. Thank you for all your hard work and sharing. Another amazing recipe.

I can't tell you how helpful this is!! Yesterday, I threw a keto cookbook on my kitchen floor, so flipping frustrated at the amount of work it takes. You have to count the carbs, calories, fat and protein. Want ten grapes....nope, as it takes the carb count to high. I threw up my hands and thought this is bloody impossible to keep under 20 carbs a day. On the point of giving up and along comes this real life/real person video! Thank you, thank you!!!
It's really not difficult once you've learned the carb count in things. Grapes are a high sugar content fruit so definitely not keto-friendly. Berries and watermelon - in small quantities - are doable. You don't have to count carbs, calories, fat, and protein. If you eat when you're truly hungry, eat until you're satisfied, and keep your carbs low you don't have to count anything else.

I love videos like this - realistic and achievable meals rather than how to make “perfect” imitation potato salad with 20 expensive ingredients that will take you 2 days! In reality I am never going to do that and I doubt many people will either. Bone broth and cauliflower really is great for everything! I never thought of using cauliflower for an oat substitute though 😂 - might have to give it a go.

I’m having a difficult time eating enough calories while trying to eat low carb. Not only do I have to watch my carbs but saturated fat as well. How do you get in enough calories eating only 25 total carbs a day??? I’m not doing keto, but I enjoy your videos.

What can you use instead of cauliflower? I can not do Cauliflower. What type of blender do you have that you can put hot water in? I tried that and broke my blender glass. Dang, I can not get a replacement, because it was an older model, and it was to expensive to re-purchase. Very sad!

How about using almond flour to make Porridge? Would that work ?
I make keto porridge using a mix of equal amounts of almond flour, flaxseed, hemp seed, chia seed, all ground. 1/4 cup in a bowl, boiling water on top a a minute later porridge. A dash of cream on top and a few berries it’s great.
A diabetes specialist recommended steel cut oats. Good thing because cauliflower doesn't agree with me.
Oats are loaded with carbs and spike insulin. This ‘specialist’ is wrong.

I join this program called Future. It’s an online app where you have a personal trainer who gives you a workout plan based on what equipment you have and your goals. It’s been amazing. I'm in the uk, and meat is way too expensive for me to stay healthy on a keto, low carb diet, so how to even begin? Is there an answer to this conumdrum?

@@tammy707 thank you but from what I've read, beans fall into high-carb category and the lowest carb beans are the fresh green ones, which are sooo expensive. I'll have to have a think 🤔 It's not easy this keeping healthy!

Im always envious of people who like and drink coffee while on keto. I duslike coffee and tea, im left with water.
Yeah but anything with cauliflower wannabe I can still taste it and I still get the stink of it too. For my oatmeal cravings I use oat bran cut with ground almonds, sweetened with liquid stevia and topped with no sugar peanut butter and lily's chocolate chips.
I hear you on the cauliflower stink.
Whatever works for each person. Your version has a much higher carb count.

My concern about oatmeal is that is gets converted to glucose then spike your insulin. But you mentioned being " low carb" ,though I see most of your videos I watch are keto related. I do enjoy them and I'm not passing judgment on you.

Wish y'all wouldn't talk about oatmeal. Been craving a big oatmeal cookie for a month. Today's my birthday. I think I'm gonna cheat and concoct a semi-keto cookie for myself. Probably with chocolate chips. I'm craving crunchy edges with somewhat gooey center. Wish the imaginary maid would hurry up and clean the dishes so I could mess it up again. 😄

What are you talking about? The daily total carbs are 20g and net carbs are less than that. How is that not keto?? All of these ingredients are clean. You can’t get much more keto than these. 🤷♀️

do you do keto coffee in the morning? i haven’t heard anyone talk about that lately it used to be all the rage back in about 2016
I used to do it every morning. But I started to get lazy with it and didn’t want to get out my blender all the time (I like it frothy) 😂 I still do it from time to time.
I found I required them to get enough fat after a few years and being maintenance. I rotate in a small amount of carbs like grek yogurt and more berries/low carb fruits in small portions before cycle and follow Dr Mindy Pelzer on that. But found that approach I will see a peak and wane and not need to push the fat so much either. I love me some butter and coconut with extra salt and some caramel stevia drops..tastes like a salted caramel to me! But agree when I first started about 4.5 yrs ago it was OMG keto will clog your arteries and they're drinking butter omg they're crazy lol. The comparison in diets is hard to fathom but I think many git educated once they saw their friends losing the weight and feeling good. :p
