@@lonnieguthrie5375 I know the videos can help people. My point was the post that said a 3 month course. I just don’t like people paying for a course on how to make a UA-cam video. There are videos for everything on UA-cam. So I was more venting about companies taking advantage of people.

@@survivalSC people who buy the courses do it out of fear. They have no idea where to start and don't want to look stupid when they post. I've built channel's for years with well over 5 billion views but I did it teaching people how to build their channel's, to get views, subscribers and continued growth. I've only ever used the original UA-cam video editor to edit videos myself so learning to use a decent editor scares the crap out of me.

Implementing the lessons I learned throughout the years of lots of trials and errors changed my life trajectory and learning that there’s a yin and yang in everything. I wouldn’t have appreciated the importance of health if I didn’t get sick. I wouldn’t have realized the importance of real love if I haven’t witnessed my parents’ relationship slowly fall apart. It's becoming really rare to see real-experience educational videos like this one. Your videos are fluff free and aren't about someone reading out a product's spec sheet, instead about your personal experience with the product. SP, I have been binge watching “Gear needed to start a UA-cam channel” videos for several days and I can accurately say that this video of yours was the most useful, by far. Seems to me if someone is asking what gear they need, then they are probably not prepared to drop $5000 dollars for what a lot of YTers are calling the entry level equipment setup… and your video said exactly what is needed to get started. Budget friendly and practical.

How many videos do you see where you can skip the first few minutes while the host just blabbers on about something useless? Thanks, and a new subscriber here.

Ive had youtube for 18 years. First made this account when it started getting popular around 2006. I wish I started a channel back then, but I was always self conscious about voice recording and being on camera (despite not being so much in person). Always had stage fright, but now that I have a great gaming pc, laptop, decent mic with boom arm, a razer kiyo webcam, and a galaxy s22 with a great camera, ive decided i want to give it a shot. I have a decent amount of life experience at 40, and have been gaming since I was 6 years old. I figure that I should be able to come up with more than enough content. Just have to get used to the process of filming, recording, writing scripts, and editing. Things ive never done before. This is the first video Ive watched about the process and I am thoroughly impressed. I will use your knowledge and do my best. Hopefully someday I can pass the knowledge onto others like you are. Thanks for making your video straight forward and not intimidating. Its nice to know you dont have to put on a mask, and use a fake personality, to get ahead on youtube.

This is the most inspiring setup video that I have seen yet. All of your creative solutions were a breath of fresh air. Your setup was created to suit you without all the various expensive studio equipment. And yet you have produced studio quality results.
I was feeling a bit hesitant to go full throttle on my setup because I use tablets as cameras, lol. I wanted to use my phone, but the pixel 3a doesn't have an sdcard slot. So I created a setup with 3d printed adapters of my own design to accommodate tablets. The last step is basically to use it.
I can honestly say that after watching numerous setup videos, none have made me more excited to embark on the journey than this one.
Thank you, sincerely, for taking the time to create this production. I hope you know that your efforts are deeply appreciated. God bless you.
