Started my channel in 2018 and for 5 years straight I was stuck at 24 subs barely getting any views, I was pretty much dead in the water, 2023 I really tapped into my creativity, had some dope ideas, got better at my craft, then started seeing growth, going into 2024 I steadily grew to around 400 subs, now heading into 2025 i’m currently at 1.2k subs and monetized, it’s time for us smaller channels to win

I started my UA-cam channel in August, then I decided last month to do a daily vlog of my life and everything I’m doing (from my future business to my expertise in dogs). Really easy edit, filmed with the first generation of OSMO Action. And the results blows my mind. Right now I’ve almost 15k views, 650 watched hours, and 70 subscribers gained in the last few weeks. I’m not trying to promote my channel because it’s in Italian. I’m just saying to all the small channel: keep pushing!! Upload and don’t give up!
I know people who go viral whenever they post something (what they all have in common is that they use a lot of Famester). That's how they make it never easier if you started wondering how something is easy.

Great story, and I am happy to see you are satisfied. Being a UA-camr is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work (with a little bit of help from Fame - ster of course) will always pay off at the end.
My mom and I just started a reselling business this week and I had the thought "maybe we should make videos of us getting started?" we both kind of laughed though and thought no one would want to watch amateurs with no professional equipment! Watching your video changed my mind though. I'm going to try to make a video next week. Thank you! :)
All I use is a smartphone, but I do have a $7.50 wireless microphone that I got off ebay. Made a huge difference in sound quality. I'll be waiting for that video to come out! ❤❤

The problem with all of these channels is that the content they're pushing out it solely to funnel you into their expensive courses. Every youtuber copying each other, making videos on the exact same topics, and selling the exact same courses while preying on the dreams of desperate people. The online "coaching" industry is a cancer that needs to be promptly snuffed out.

@@YungRenzo yes unfortunately. We may just be doing this wrong, but we are very far from qualifying for the partnership program. Most of our videos are shorts. To qualify to make money from ads on shorts, we would need 10 million views in 90 days. We’re slightly under 1 million, which puts us very far from monetizing.
This is a great video. I’ve had my UA-cam channel for a very long time, but finally just a few months ago, made a commitment to share the knowledge that I have accumulated over the last 20 years in fitness. It’s such a relief when you talk about how we don’t need fancy cameras, etc. People just want to learn from us. 2025 is going to be a big year!!

I agree with everything you said, and thething is that no matter what kind of content you make nowadays, you can easily go viral (you have to use a lot of Fame- ster of course).
Subscribers, in my opinion, do matter if you want to work with brands. When I had 50k subs nobody would work with me. As soon as I passed 150k subs my email started getting flooded with requests. I now work with tons of brands and affiliate companies all around the USA. I can't keep up with all the work as there are products being delivered to my house 3-4 days out of each week. At this point I need to hire a team. Keep uploading and be consistent. It WILL grow your channel if you do.
Everyone was new on You Tube at Sometime... those who have started years before and are big now... should help those who are new... Thank God You Tube is finally helping the newbies!!

Jason, I've been at it for 18 grueling months, but I finally broke through the GRIND with success on my channel with Shorts and Long-form over the past 3 months, got monetized and the ad sense is pretty substantial especially once you figure out how to make a Short go viral over 1M views and of course long form as well. I hear you loud and clear on the other ways of making money and the passive income can be a real money maker! Great advice, BUT I STILL THINK PEOPLE UNDER ESTIMATE SHORTS!

so many cooking channels dont speak or show themselves and they do well. alot of people actually prefer if the creator isnt speaking or in the camera & those channels have subs in the millions. so, even tho you prefer her to speak, its not necessary for growth. she should create whatever content she feels best making. @@MeersMedia
I've seen channels ignore the comments suggestions for years, because it's THEIR channel and they do things THEIR way (even when certain suggestions repeat). Then after years sometime, they finally try the suggestions and indeed gain subs exponentially. Rach.....take their advice. They TRULY wish you the best.

I just checked out your video and you are very refreshing! I didn’t think your sound quality was terrible, even though it’s great to improve on sound -I wouldn’t have ever thought of yours as terrible. Your first video is a lot higher quality than most first videos I have seen!
The only thing I noticed that you could maybe improve on is your camera angle. It seems a bit too low. And that you’re more to the side rather than the center. And maybe the camera is a bit too close. It could maybe be helpful to watch videos that give tips on this :) but it’s such a wonderful video for your first video! I’m really grateful you made it

Just stumbled on this video. Great content. Have uploaded over 10 videos at the end of 2024. So far the subscribers have not been storming the door 😅😃🥴 I know it will pick up eventually. Just keep on doing what you’re doing and don’t focus on the numbers too much.
I started back in 2019 because I thought it would be fun and it has been. The journey of growing has been nice and I recently went from 40 subscribers to 77 and it's been so nice to see the growth. It's really motivating because I put a lot of effort when I can due to my busy schedule, but it's still refreshing to see improvements. I've also seen other small channels on my feed and I think this has been amazing for the overall community!

Small channels stay strong & determined. The only real failure is giving up. Remember success will take time but being consistent makes the difference. We all start off somewhere whether that being 0 or 100 subs, but if you dedicate the hard work into growing you’ll see results🙌

Started off this year posting more content on my channel and this is encouraging. 🎉
Great story, and I am happy to see you are satisfied. Being a UA-camr is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work (with a little bit of help from Fame - ster of course) will always pay off at the end.

All I use is a smartphone, but I do have a $7.50 wireless microphone that I got off ebay. Made a huge difference in sound quality. I'll be waiting for that video to come out! ❤❤

The problem with all of these channels is that the content they're pushing out it solely to funnel you into their expensive courses. Every youtuber copying each other, making videos on the exact same topics, and selling the exact same courses while preying on the dreams of desperate people. The online "coaching" industry is a cancer that needs to be promptly snuffed out.

@@YungRenzo yes unfortunately. We may just be doing this wrong, but we are very far from qualifying for the partnership program. Most of our videos are shorts. To qualify to make money from ads on shorts, we would need 10 million views in 90 days. We’re slightly under 1 million, which puts us very far from monetizing.

This is a great video. I’ve had my UA-cam channel for a very long time, but finally just a few months ago, made a commitment to share the knowledge that I have accumulated over the last 20 years in fitness. It’s such a relief when you talk about how we don’t need fancy cameras, etc. People just want to learn from us. 2025 is going to be a big year!!

Subscribers, in my opinion, do matter if you want to work with brands. When I had 50k subs nobody would work with me. As soon as I passed 150k subs my email started getting flooded with requests. I now work with tons of brands and affiliate companies all around the USA. I can't keep up with all the work as there are products being delivered to my house 3-4 days out of each week. At this point I need to hire a team. Keep uploading and be consistent. It WILL grow your channel if you do.

Jason, I've been at it for 18 grueling months, but I finally broke through the GRIND with success on my channel with Shorts and Long-form over the past 3 months, got monetized and the ad sense is pretty substantial especially once you figure out how to make a Short go viral over 1M views and of course long form as well. I hear you loud and clear on the other ways of making money and the passive income can be a real money maker! Great advice, BUT I STILL THINK PEOPLE UNDER ESTIMATE SHORTS!

Hey, you would get so many views and engagement if you start putting yourself front of the camera and talk.
The quality of the food and video are great. The whole time I was watching it I got bored in the middle of it bc no one is talking in the video
so many cooking channels dont speak or show themselves and they do well. alot of people actually prefer if the creator isnt speaking or in the camera & those channels have subs in the millions. so, even tho you prefer her to speak, its not necessary for growth. she should create whatever content she feels best making. @@MeersMedia
I've seen channels ignore the comments suggestions for years, because it's THEIR channel and they do things THEIR way (even when certain suggestions repeat). Then after years sometime, they finally try the suggestions and indeed gain subs exponentially. Rach.....take their advice. They TRULY wish you the best.

I just checked out your video and you are very refreshing! I didn’t think your sound quality was terrible, even though it’s great to improve on sound -I wouldn’t have ever thought of yours as terrible. Your first video is a lot higher quality than most first videos I have seen!
The only thing I noticed that you could maybe improve on is your camera angle. It seems a bit too low. And that you’re more to the side rather than the center. And maybe the camera is a bit too close. It could maybe be helpful to watch videos that give tips on this :) but it’s such a wonderful video for your first video! I’m really grateful you made it

Decided to really take UA-cam seriously and started fresh Nov 19th, I made a challenge to myself to post 1 video a day to train on my consistency with the goal of making each video better than my last (in the sense of entertainment & value). Let’s see how this plays out, we are 18 days in and I wish nothing but the best for all the small creators out here!

I started back in 2019 because I thought it would be fun and it has been. The journey of growing has been nice and I recently went from 40 subscribers to 77 and it's been so nice to see the growth. It's really motivating because I put a lot of effort when I can due to my busy schedule, but it's still refreshing to see improvements. I've also seen other small channels on my feed and I think this has been amazing for the overall community!
