Oh thank you, Cheryl! I appreciate that. And I just responded to you other comment so I wanted to additionally thank you for making the rounds on my videos.
Hi, Taryn! My appointment was great, thank you. My hair is lovely silver blond now. It took a while and I finally got to rewatch your video. I’m glad I did! There is so much great info in this video! This is so beautiful and creative, I just love this little table.🌸

Thank you so much! This is the only video for this particular piece. But if you are looking for a slowed down version of just doing the technique on the top I have one of those and I also have a blending one for the bottom from a similar table I’ve done. Just let me know which you wanted more detail on and I’ll link the video for you.
Beautifully done! I have a table somewhat similar to this, it wobbles as well, but it does not have any screws. I’m at a loss about how to fix it. If you have any ideas I would love to hear them! It actually had a nice surprise when I sanded down the top... an oval inlay with a different kind or color of wood. I’m trying to figure out what special thing I should do with it. I love watching your videos, they are always so informative. Oh, on a side note, I went into both Harbor Freight, and Lowe’s asking for a pull saw. Ahhh!!!! I love it!!! That makes my day- I’m so glad you found one to show them 😂. You’ll have to let me know how you like it once you get a few projects in. As far as the table goes- my guess is that it’s probably a mortise and tenon situation or something similar. It’s just figuring out the best way to pop them out. I like to use a mallet. Then just glue them back up the same as I did on this table. If you have any joints that are too loose, you may just need to add a little wedge in the gap. To me if you go to all of that work, why would you not make the piece beautiful all the way around. It would make the difference of me buying a piece of furniture. Just a thought. Blessings!
Thanks, Sherri. It always depends on the piece for me. I typically work on very old pieces and there’s usually some fun information on the backs or bottoms whether in old markings (like this one had faint pencil markings) or just in the type of wood or finish the piece originally had. I try not to cover that up in case someone wants to do a little digging and bring it back to original or just have the knowledge for fun. If a piece is a center of the room situation I’ll obviously do the back in that case. Again, it just varies piece to piece for me.
