This music sounds like my favorite show Deadwood! Did you know that surf prep sells those soft sanding pads for all brands of sanders! I got some for my mouse sander and my dewalt!

BTW: there are gum rubber blocks that are made to clean off sand paper and sanding film; they work incredibly well and can quickly refresh clogged sand paper. The rubber blocks are self-sacrificing and basically act like a giant eraser - and there usually inexpensive.
Such a cool technique. And so beautiful. I have to admit, it is romantic. Not as lovely and romantic as my Craftsman mechanic's tool set, or my Grizzly Table Saw, but romantic just the same. Great job as usual.

It's a reverse bombe (pronounced like Bombay) small chest, but not very old. I had the longer 2 drawer version (purchased new in the mid-90's) until I downsized from a house to a condo. Interesting makeover.

I REALLY hate custom work. If I do a custom piece it’s with the understanding that the client has almost no say in what happens to it 😂. It’s too stressful for me otherwise. So most of my pieces are just me having fun with things that I like. I started selling on marketplace, but if I’m being honest, am not a huge fan of it anymore. My area is amazing in that I get most of my items for free or next to nothing, but with that comes the downside of having to sell things for less as well. I don’t sell out of a store at all, even my favorite furniture store here sells their items for less than I do in marketplace and those people have to keep their booths full and pay a booth rent. I’ve been really enjoying Etsy at the moment, but I think eventually I’d prefer just creating my own website and selling from there. I do want to do a video about all this in the future- you’re not the only one who has expressed interest, but I want to make sure I’m giving the most information I can and I don’t think I’m there yet.
