There are so many more commercials now. It's a big reason I no longer watch regular TV. The hour long shows I loved as a kid in the 80's were 50 minutes of show and 10 minutes of commercials. Now it's closer to about 40 minutes of show and 20 minutes of commercials for an hour long show. I can't imagine watching any of my childhood favorites with ten whole minutes cut out of the story . Commercials back then were actually fun and watchable. Not so now.

The only commercial there that even looked slightly like I might had seen it before was the Encyclopedia one, all the rest didn't look familiar at all. I know often times, commercials that ran could be aired in certain regions, while others played in different places. So even though these commercials are from a time when I saw hundreds of commercials daily, many of these just might not have aired in my area of the country.
