Best filming locations on youth tube ! Right here ! That’s right I said it love how he shows the movie scenes and not just a still shot like many others Do! Loved this movie ! I’m going to watch it tonight for a good laugh!
A month or so ago this movie flashed into my brain. I remembered Dana Carvey transporting the car and not much else, not even the name. All this time I thought the movie was filmed in Boise. I lived in Santa Clarita for 15 years and had no idea it was filmed there. I now recognize the scenes in the film and even bought some lumber at “Boise Cascade” long ago. Great video, one of your bests.
We actually moved from New Jersey to Boise 3 years ago and love it 😂😂 You just inspired me to finally watch this...other people told me how great it was.!
You put lots of work, research and effort to your videos, man! Something must be wrong with the algorithm as I believe you should have 10X the subscribers by now…. ??? C’mon “old timers”, time to subscribe! lol
Dude this movie is one of my favorites and it gets no respect at all! Thanks for doing this video. I will try to check out a few of these locations next time I’m out there.
I loved this movie when I was a kid. Brought back a lot of memories. Thank you! I wanted to watch the movie again and was happy to see it available on UA-cam Movies.
This was a funny movie I laughed hard how he got his stuff back, Rip Richard Pryor. And thanks again Kurt for all the awesome videos, I said b4 but you do the best locations line ups from the past to now.👍
Amazing how a little modification to set piece can transform an entire scene especially rhe homes that serve so many purpose and function. Kudos to the set designers and really under rated crew of a movie production.
Are you serious! Lol Moving was one of my brother's and I favorite movies. Its definitely a classic. Man watching your videos makes me happy and a tiny bit sad when i think about the memories i have from back then. The 80s was the best time for movies and music in my opinion. The early 90s wasnt so bad either when it comes to movies and music 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤. If you ever see this can you do License to Drive if you haven't already. Thank you for the memories, like Mastercard they are Priceless 😊.
Awesome! Thanks for doing this video. I always thought this movie was not only underrated but also nearly forgotten. I remember watching this when I was really young, probably on HBO, in the 80’s. I’ve asked a few people if they remember this movie and they all say no. Thanks for the great memories!
Dude this is awesome. This is 1 of my all time favorite comedy movies. Great job on this video you nailed it. Keep up the great work. Subscribing right now. 👍👍
My dad was the Production Designer on this movie.. he still has the prop of the Psychology Today magazine cover with Dana Carvey’s multiple personalities 😆
What a great film good video as always Kurt keep up the good work I thought it was interesting that the Buccaneer was also in Halloween 3 season of the witch
Yeah right on! Moving is one of the strangest movies I've ever seen. Even as a kid when I saw it I was like "What the hell did I just watch?" It seems to have some kind of underlying meaning about taking a stand and showing some guts in problem solving. I guess the point with Cornell was that he respected overassertiveness, which is often the case in real life. Once Arlow established himself, suddenly Cornell could respect him and like him. Amazing locations as always! I've been following you around on maps as I watch it! Keep them coming!
I loved this movie. I can’t believe how many of my friends never heard of it. Notice how all the cars in “New Jersey” have California plates, including both of the Pear’s cars.
16:55 I grew up in this house in Arcadia. I remember the filming of this. Also the scene where the limo split in half was on Mayflower and Camino Real in Arcadia. also got to see them film this scene.
Living and being from Boise, I was happy to see one scene if the actual city lol. I live this movie and so many people I know have no clue what it is. Love the video. Also noticed in front of the bar, they placed an "Idaho Statesman" newspaper vending machine. Could tell by the red and blue striping of the time.
Omg epic I love this movie I always wanted to some one to do this> ever thought harry and Henderson love that movie I don't think anyone ever don it. gave a like man, RIP RICHARD P
I can't help it. I love this channel. But one of my pet peeves is when people say "Pan Down" or "Pan up". Camera's don't pan up or down. They tilt up or down. They PAN left or right.
Another great video, Kurt! Just curious, when you're standing outside of a house filming and shooting, do you know on the door and check with them first to see if they mind? I've always been curious how that works.....
👆 I used to love this movie as a kid! Had quite a crush on the daughter too. Rawr. Don't know if I ever realized that Morris Day was in it. 😂 Did you do the background music? You got an 808?
Absolutely loved that movie great job
"A bit underrated"?
I can't believe how many people don't know this movie! I've loved it since it first got to cable TV in the late 80s!
Gotta luv them 80s❤...boy, what a decade is was! thank you!💯💫👍✌!
Thanks for this! I agree…. underrated movie.

I completely forgot about this movie!
Massive flashbacks watching this, in a good way! 😊
Thanks
Love this movie!!! Thank You for doing this!!
One of my favorite scenes of all time. The lawnmower with Randy Quaid. I laugh every time. Thanks for your videos and memories. :)
Thanks for the hard work Kurt! A forgotten movie for some reason. Appreciate all your content.
Man I ain't seen anything about this movie since the actual 80s. Loved this when I was a kid. You've done it again my good man another great video.
We actually moved from New Jersey to Boise 3 years ago and love it 😂😂 You just inspired me to finally watch this...other people told me how great it was.!

Great Movie. Thank you
One of my favorite 80s movies.
Ah, dude you're the g.o.a.t. I find it almost uncanny that you have so much in common with your subs. These are the movies I grew up on.
You put lots of work, research and effort to your videos, man! Something must be wrong with the algorithm as I believe you should have 10X the subscribers by now…. ??? C’mon “old timers”, time to subscribe! lol

Absolutely love this movie! Feel it’s definitely under appreciated. Thanks for doing the locations for it!
Classic movie! Randy Quaid was great.
Also a little fyi, the "we're taking it with us" guy is actually the voice of Skeletor.
Skeletor?! Lol 😂
@@samholdsworth420 Yes. Alan Oppenheimer.
This was a funny movie I laughed hard how he got his stuff back, Rip Richard Pryor. And thanks again Kurt for all the awesome videos, I said b4 but you do the best locations line ups from the past to now.👍
Shows you can't be a nice guy and you have to stand up to bullies.

My favorite channel
I remember looking for this movie on DVD in the 2000s and it wasn’t available at any store! It should have been available everywhere as it’s a classic
Thanks for these!!!!
Another great video . Loved Richard Pryor
Never heard of this movie “Moving” another one on my checklist!
Such a great movie. Totally underrated
The Buccaneer is also the bar Dr. Challis (Tom Atkins) goes into in Halloween 3.
I loved this movie and it is totally underrated. Great job finding the locations!
Thank you👍👍👍
Loved that movie. It was sad that he was sick and losing a lot of weight at the time of filming.
Another great video Kurt. Now I have to see this movie. It looks very cheerful and fun. 👍
What a great film good video as always Kurt keep up the good work I thought it was interesting that the Buccaneer was also in Halloween 3 season of the witch
I want to go there for a beer sometime
Great video. Maybe they just covered the pool with dirt to give it that look.
Classics!❤@This 80's
I need to watch this again i haven't seen it in so long
Moving! Love this movie!
hey mate I love the videos, you put in so much detail well done thank you Brisbane Australia
I've been in Boise since '91 from So Cal.

I just had a friend watch this not too long ago for the first time.
Such a great movie
I loved this movie. I can’t believe how many of my friends never heard of it.
Notice how all the cars in “New Jersey” have California plates, including both of the Pear’s cars.
Dude you never disappoint me...
Stay in new jersey and make the goddamn mustard..😅
Omg I LOVE LOVE this movie!!! I wish they'd release a bluray remaster as I only own it as a double movie DVD with Moving and Grease Lightening.
Great video Kurt!!! Did you know that the man that sells Arlo the house, is the same actor that is the voice Skeletor!!!
I loved it so very much brother Sallam form the Republic of Yemen
16:55 I grew up in this house in Arcadia. I remember the filming of this. Also the scene where the limo split in half was on Mayflower and Camino Real in Arcadia. also got to see them film this scene.
GREAT MOVIE!!

I love that the neighbor that took in the daughter is Reverend Flavel from Porkys 😁
I thought you were gonna give us the wrong finger at the end. 😆
One of my faves. No one ever talks about this. Better than Hanks’ Money Pitt IMO
I loved the movie 🍿🥤
Omg epic I love this movie I always wanted to some one to do this> ever thought harry and Henderson love that movie I don't think anyone ever don it. gave a like man, RIP RICHARD P
Whoa, at 18:06, I forgot King Kong Bundy was one of the movers and that Richard kicked his butt!
Saw it in the theater. nice SAAB
U did it one my favorite Pryor films Brad Williams (Dana Carey) "cops try to pull me over I said eat this put it in 5th forget about" 😂
Great movie…..”I see you, Arlo Pear, you can run but cannot hide..let’s get to the point let’s get to the point.’~Cousin Eddie lol
Awesome job. I have an idea why not grab screen grab and take to the bar and then the display
Gotta love dive bars 🍸
I can't help it. I love this channel. But one of my pet peeves is when people say "Pan Down" or "Pan up". Camera's don't pan up or down. They tilt up or down. They PAN left or right.
YES!!!!!!!
That’s the same bar as in Halloween 3
Kind of funny that Dana Carveys characters name is Brad Williams, born 4 years before the movie, also a comedian.
Another great video, Kurt! Just curious, when you're standing outside of a house filming and shooting, do you know on the door and check with them first to see if they mind? I've always been curious how that works.....
Didn't know wrestler King Kong Bundy was one of the movers. Not sure I ever watched this film though I have heard of it. Was like 500!
I saw Dave Thomas at Bed Bath and Beyond in Agoura Hills over 20 years ago but I just left him and his wife alone
I believe the Buccaneer bar was also featured in the movie Halloween III Season of the Witch.
Loved this movie as a kid. First time I'd ever seen a Saab and immediately labeled it as one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen.
That bar was also used in Halloween 3.
👆 I used to love this movie as a kid! Had quite a crush on the daughter too. Rawr. Don't know if I ever realized that Morris Day was in it. 😂
Did you do the background music? You got an 808?
totally forgott about that movie
Love this movie... And I believe Richard Pryor had his first symptom of MS during the filming.... Please correct me if I am mistaken....
I have this movie only because of Gorgo (King Kong Bundy)
This is when my Stacy Dash crush started lol!
Haha ,wish it was in idaho,I'm here
I know what Deborah is watching tonight.
That mover needs respect. I sometimes pounder the idea to do a similar thing for shock value of the neighbors. Then common sens takes over. So sad...
Arlo Pear 🍐
I gave him the wrong finger!!!
04:32 Looks like the mall from Comando.
Can you do "Lucas" or "Madhouse" or the movie "Perfect" with Travolta & Jamie Lee Curtis
18:05 King Kong Bundy!
You can watch this movie for free on UA-cam currently!!
W
What on Earth was going on with Richard Pryor's beard in this movie? 😂😂
Hii❤❤❤❤
WTH! Morris Day is marrying the girl from Clueless?? How have I not seen this?
