Thank you very much for tuning in to my channel. It's great to hear another UA-cam music enthusiast with similar taste in records; especially the 80's. Check out my next video (Part 2). I have some Old School Electro, Bass Music, New Wave, & more - all vinyl from just (1) record store. Also, more trips to come soon. Music is definitely universal and there's so much out there that most people are not aware of. I will keep posting videos on vinyl for years to come (sharing with the Vinyl Community). This journey through UA-cam has spanned (9) years now and I have enjoyed all of it. Best of luck with your collection and keep this vibe flowing!!

Love your collection. I have a great big new wave synth collection. I’ve been listening to Christian alt music. Awesome stuff. It makes sense because these bands play in front of a church audience every Sunday. Clear headed smart musicians. The lyrics are amazing. Better than anything you heard. Check out:
    Apollo LTD- Soul Worth Saving
Gable Price and Friends- Brother Jack
    Bethel Music- be Lifted High
    We the kingdom- Holy Water

Most antique stores I’ve been in that sell records have been disappointing regarding overpriced vinyl that are not in good shape at all. I’m glad you found some bargains. Looking forward to part 2. 👍👍👍👍

Hello my 80's Retro friend; hope things are going well. Oh yeah, I pulled out Pet Shop Boys - "Always on my Mind" 12" single in the OG white jacket that was stained. I slipped the record out and it had a ton of scratches... so disappointed! Then a Howard Jones - same thing. $10 a piece (well not worth it). Dead are Alive were well represented, but no "Youthquake" LP to be found. Almost gave up, but there was another large bin with (4) sections in the back for only $1.00 each. Got so lucky to find these in much better condition. When the owner is not familiar with 12" singles vs. LP's, us diggers really score big. Stay tuned to part 2. Thanks for watching my videos as always and I think you're really going to dig the next set of records. Take care, my friend.

Man I’ve been watching your channel o and on for about 2-3 years! I know I don’t always comment but I truly dig your taste in music! Especially the New Wave stuff! I only have one little hang up and it’s that you show mostly 12’ singles and I’m more of an LP guy but that doesn’t stop me from loving what you’re into and what ya show so please don’t take that as a insult because to each their own! We need guys that show a lot of New Wave! I do show occasional New wave stuff and I have a lot it in my collection but I’m more comfortable talking about harder rock Keep doing what ya do Man! Can’t wait for the return trip Great scores! Peace ☮️✌️👽🤘☮️

Cosmic Brian, your channel is the most entertaining by far. You always deliver & I’ve been subscribed to your channel for a long while now. Most of my collection is 12” singles which I love to mix & blend my favorite tunes. I bring my “Want List” to the record stores with both 12” singles & LP’s. So much fun digging for those hidden treasures.
Prices have been surging on LP’s; sometimes we have to be patient. Thanks for your comment, my cosmic friend.

hello friend......yes this song is really beautiful, it was only produced in 7" , I hope it will be re-released one day.
I'm a collector of italo disco here in Brazil, I like more productions of small groups with few songs,,, ex: KATA(fire in the nigth); DIGITRONIC(disconight) ; PRIVATE MOVIE( red lantern) and others, these are examples of my musical taste,,,,,,, but your record collection is really beautiful ,,,, congratulations on sharing with us,,,, HUG!!!

Think Altered Images biggest hit was Happy Birthday ps the lead singer Clare Grogan was in a movie called Gregory's Girl which is a classic and worth watching if you haven't seen

Hello my friend, hope things are going well in your area. I seen a few videos with Altered Images vinyl being shown, and I knew about "Happy Birthday" from listening to XM Radio - First New Wave and thought I could finally get this for my collection. If the price and condition is right, and recommended by my fellow UA-camrs; then yes I would pick it up. I thinks it's a really cool looking jacket that was worthy for my collection. Can't wait to listen to the entire LP. I'll keep a lookout for the movie "Gregory's Girl" - appreciate the recommendation. Take care and stay tuned for part 2 (good stuff coming up).

Hi, nice that someone shows some new wave and synth-pop stuff. hould be more in the VC. I have exactly the same german reissue of Fear of Music with the same sticker. The big sticker you can easily remove without leaving marks. For the small price sticker i`m not sure. Greetings

Hope you're doing well and thanks for your comment on my record finds from the Houston area. 100% agree with you right there; need more synth pop and new wave videos (not enough). I need to encourage more listeners to my channel to show their records. They don't have to put themselves in the video or talk. Just share their worthy collection with the VC. Kind of like a vintage treasure that belongs in a museum for everyone to observe. Especially if people don't have time to listen to their records; there's another way - post their videos on UA-cam (I think this would be great if everyone joined in).
I'm so happy to hear that you have the same German pressing with the big sticker on it. I may just leave it on since it was meant to be there. I haven't been so lucky with removing sticker that's been there for over 30 years. Overall, great LP and so glad that both of us have this same issue. I have Part 2 coming very soon. Please check it out; I think you will enjoy it.

Hi Raymond! Thanks for the recommendations. I’ve seen the Nina Hagen record from time to time in the store, but I wasn’t familiar with the track. I’ll definitely take a listen very soon. I have Ministry’s LP from ‘83 which features Work for Love - great track. My local record store has the 12” single listed @ $24.95 which is a little than I want to pay. If it goes down to around $15, I’ll pull the trigger & get it. Thanks again!
