Another great video. I didn't realize music for the masses was a hard to find and so valuable. A nice surprise since i still have my original copy.

Thank You! I didn’t know about it years later; wish I would have scored the OG 1987 vinyl. Already had the tape & CD for a long time. I really wore out that tape in my car back in the Day. Congrats to you, my friend! A collectible DM record in your stack of goodies. Till next time…

Moev is a take on the word Mauve. Which is a color (pale purple). "Moev" appeared in the dictionary as the "pronunciation" of the word Mauve so they decided to use that spelling instead of the correct spelling.
I previously worked at Nettwerk Records & management 90's-00's. Great time Moev, Skinny Puppy, Severed Heads, Delerium, Single Gun Theory, Sarah McLachlan, Dido, SPK, DJ Tiesto, Grapes Of Wrath, Rose Chronicles

Great finds as always - Argybargy (pronounced in England as ar-jee-bar-jee) is one of the best new wave albums ever

Hi Jack! That’s great to hear! Out of all their LP’s released, I see all the others besides 1980’s Argybargy frequently in the record stores. I guess it was my time to score this New Wave gem. Take care, my friend.

Late to the party, just discovered your channel. Some great New Wave/Synth Pop/ Dark Wave records. I never heard of Moev. I’ll have to check it out.

Thanks for coming onboard to some great New Wave & Synth-pop timeless vinyl. Some of my discoveries (like Moev), came to be from a friend with a bootleg CD filled with alternative music I never heard before. I was introduced to Echo & the Bunnymen, Moev, Love & Rockets, and more. I have another video will post within 2 weeks. I have some gems to display, but still listening to the music. Please stay tuned & thanks again!

    Hi ,
I`m still after a clean copy of the Robert Palmer - Looking For Clues 12" and also the Love And Rockets - Ball Of Confusion 12".
Have you heard The Undisputed Truth version of Ball Of Confusion or The Temptations version. Both of those versions are excellent Funk, Soul, Disco tracks. Personally i really like the Love And Rockets version but i think the Undisputed Truth and Temptations versions are far heavier more intense and funky.
The Soft Cell extended 12" version of Bedsitter is completely perfect. It really is a synth pop classic. On the 12" they add another vocal part that i don`t think is on the album version or radio edit version. Definitely one of Soft Cells best tracks and 12" mixes.
Also their extended 12" versions of Numbers and Torch are both completely brilliant.
I`m sure you probably already own those 12" singles but if you don`t you should definitely check them out.
Another Soft Cell related 12" worth checking out is Marc Almonds solo track Sleaze by Marc And The Mambas. It`s actually quite sparse sounding with simple drum machine percussion and a repetitive synth or bass guitar hook and Marc`s voice and sleazy lyrics but it`s really , really good. Also worth checking out if you don`t already know it.
    Cheers from England.

Always nice to chat with you; and I’m always appreciative of your great comments. Oh yeah, Looking for Clues is a superb track - sounds awesome! The Soft Cell album is the one that I’ve wanted for a long time… Bedsitter has been on my radar as well. Thanks again for all your recommendations. Stay tuned for my video!
