A friend of mine was at the site of the Lynyrd Skynyrd plane crash and said before the scene was cleared someone actually ran off with the nose cone w/the band's logo!
It wasn't a matter of finding footage. It exists. It's a matter of copyright. What was used was all we could get at the time and have permission to use.
I was 15 and lived in Houston at the time....but was not into rock and roll. But thanks for this missing piece of my life!

I find it hard to believe there was no video footage etc..
