I have a dayan coated cube, and there are quite a few problems. First off its expensive. Old dayan cubes are very rare and are hard to obtain. Next it doesn't last very long. My coating lasted probably about 6 months before going to a point where the plastic had wore off. Finally, the cube becomes very weird. My cube had weird cracks in it and had durability problems. It also became very slow, which is strange consider that the gts2 is a very fast cube.

@@bamboocuber9743 with Mine i have the Problem that the core was fused in to the plastic so it had very anoing spring noise and the magnets are to strong but thats personel preference.😟

I thought about it too before knowing Chris' video but I thought the position of the magnets wouldn't work too well and 96 magnets would be too much for a cube and it's not worth it anymore, can't believe they actually did it
