Bro this is amazing! I love hearing life advice the most, it really prepares you for how the post high school/ college life is. Your crazy experiences really prove anything is possible!!!
Hey man, first off congrats on the job! Honestly I am on this video because I am wanting to work at Amazon or google or a tech company that I admire. A recruiter from Amazon actually reached out to be last week. I am not even closed to prepared after hearing your experience and others people interviews. What do you think I should do man? Again, congrats on your new job!
Huge congrats Chris! it's great to see all your hard work pay off and I hope you're happy at Amazon. BTW is your left eye okay? It looks like there's a dark spot next to your iris
Leo Namer HAHA, i will be working with AWS, but i dunno if i can do that. I’ll be working on a new AWS service and if documentation comes up, i’ll put extra effort into it
Hamzah Hussain grades don’t actually matter, lots of people study to get /good grades/ but they don’t care about learning. Never memorize anything, just learn the concepts. I ignored all my tests and info i thought wasn’t useful, and just learned things that I liked. It turns out when you study for the sake of learning, good grades come naturally hahaha good luck
Great to hear this I stopped cubing and im hoping to be a software engineer after college. About the interview were you asked to explain the algorithm and write code on paper or write a legit code and run it?
Yes, I had to explain all of the algos and the run time, and I was writing code into a shared online text editor, so the interviewers could run it, but I couldn't! Good luck!!!
@@HumphreyWittingtonsworthIV ok that made me even more scared but thanks for the heads up im still a freshman and i think i have enough time to prepare 😂
