1) Why do so many Roux solvers like to use Valks?
2) Which Valk 3 do you think is the worst and which one do you think is the best? The only Valk I’ve felt is the Power

I tried it. My friend got it. He didn't like the extra magnets also. He uses the no extra magnets also. I thought it was to much bumpy feeling. I didn't like this cube. I wouldn't spend 50$n this cube.

I use Red magnets and springs lol. It just makes me Feel Safe in my turning style, and my Peak tps is just 15-16 while doing algs,in actual solves More like ten, so it Doesnt Make me turn worse

I dont know why because i havent try any valk cube, but not all of roux user use valk, for example iuri use wrm, kavin use tengyun & vincent(kangaroux) use gancube.
M slices are the best
The Valk line of 3x3s have really good M-Slices
It all has to do with the design of the cube. Most cubers use some variant of layer by layer. Even roux is a layer by layer method. However the difference comes in how those layers are achieved. All edges can be solved using only M,E,and S moves. And all corners are solved using any move that moves a corner. For most layer by layer methods, it is more efficient to solve edges and corners at the same time, so using moves that move corners and edges at the same time, is more productive. Therfore M,E,S slices which can all be classified as M slices are not particularly useful. Records are held by F2L solvers, because while not being efficient in move count, they are more efficient at moving more pieces in a shorter amount of time. So designers take that into account. Since there is a much higher populous of some sort of bottom up layer method that is a key piece in cube design. In most bottom up methods, the M move is not used at all, unless it is faster. For example a U,H,or Z-Perm, but it is not necessary for any of those moves. You can make many more L or R moves than you can M moves in the same amount of time. Cube designers focus on making those moves the fastest rather than the M move. It all has to do with the way the pieces are cut. The Valk M layers are cut differently because they just are, and it makes them more comfortable for Roux solvers. Might have to do with the way they sand it or something like that. Less friction makes for faster smoother turning. But not enough friction makes for fast sloppy turning. When you only use L and R moves you don't have to worry as much, but when you use M moves you have much less control in your 1 finger, than you have in your entire hand. And the Valk seems to be the closest to the of just enough.
